What a roller coaster ride 2016 has been for the Ethereum community. We have experienced more in the last 5 months than bitcoin has in 5 years, and that has made us stronger. Each day I look forward to reading contributions from the devs and other smart minds on this thread. You guys really deserve a breather and for your sake I hope everything works out nicely over the next 48 hours and the network is back in full swing. So excited to see what the future of ETH brings! Despite of another planned hard fork I should say Ethereum is still a good alt.
If this issues would continue on the long run for sure investors and holders of it would really lost its trust to ethereum. I do have high hopes in this coin to be succesfull even more on the long run but those issues exist a big blockage on its success and devs should really work hard regarding with this. I think also same ETH value jumped too fast maybe I am wrong
You can be right. The Ethereum is dropping now. But it is similar to many other altcoins. Maybe nothing specific.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

for me, i will not say Eth is a good altcoins or not, but as long as eth can give me good profit, then i will playing around with eth and make profit with eth but if there are somehow eth is not giving me a good profit then i will not playing again with eth.
with the new hard fork coming maybe is good to stay in eth, but eth clasicc i don't know stay away from this maybe the new changes in ethereum.
Maybe the ethc loses value, just wait the future and see what is the best thing.

So far I agree with you as I have still my ETH on exchanges. Though I leave it there ,I have no complaint so far. Devs and ETH community are active also.For me its a good one.

I can't say about etherum but definitely stay away from etherum classic
It is good alt if you are planning to do short term trade in altcoins but if you are doing long term trade the it is not good alt for that trade and it will be risky. and it will be possible that you will face the problem to lose your money.

Ethereum right now can be still consider as one of the alt. I said it because my friend in Australia advised me actually to buy eth, because he told me that it is of the legit and stable altcoin in the cryptocurrency. So I think no reason to stay away from it.
For the time being, any coin other than the bitcoin can be considered as alt. When the Etheruem becomes the largest coin, the bitcoin is an alt.

Trading is always risky and none can assure what's going to happen in next.So prediction about ethereum is not possible. We should wait and watch but I will stay at ethereum because in past it gave me much profit.

The Ethereum is under constant attack now. That could be the reason for the price drop. If it survives, the price will rise.
The good thing about Ethereum is it has become stronger than ever after surviving those recent network attacks and never seen a huge drop in price.
I think the alt is good and that we can invest in it, I even think that there are some chances that it will rise to a higher amount soon.
