Ethereum is a good coin, but it is not a leader. Most likely, if Bitcoin will be overthrown, then some other coin, but definitely not Ethereum.
I agree with you. I also think that ETH will never become a leader. At the moment, the price of this coin has fallen very much. Because of this, many investors sold ETH.

ETH will allow $2T of underground economy to become more structured (and possibly less underground) through DAOs.

If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.
Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

I think that's not going to happen.If there is no Bitcoin,there is no altcoins. It's better to invest bitcoin if you invest have enough investment then followed by the ethereum and other altcoins.Ethereum is good but as other said ther is always an issue about Ethereum so we could probably say there is a risk if you put all to Ethereum.
im not agree with you, ethereum is facing transaction problem in recent months, but if this problem can solved immedietly, i believe ethereum will be the future
It's hard to be predict, or bitcoin will dominate in next time or Ethereum will replace for bitcoin or even there is a new crypto appears... Ethereum is built which the the sever and cloud are altered by "nodes". The number of nodes in Ethereum has an incredible 5 times when comprares with bitcoin, it shows Ethereum's potential. In my oppinion, Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in a day, but it's not in near future.

Ethereum is good but i don't believe your opinion. I think the crypto itself is the currency in the future though they are thousands of them.
