I always prefer eth and i believe eth is better than ripple. Eth is very popular and a friendly token as many investor use this as their investments.
My opinion is that Ethereum will have its position again, the ethereum community does not want bad things to happen, so the competition between ethereum and ripple will be exciting and will attract investors.
I prefer XRP. There is a statement that by converting into XRP, it is alleged that it will reduce the costs required when transferring money. Besides that it also makes transfer time much faster. Interestingly, it seems that currently XRP is the only digital currency that has the support of the banking sector.
Today Ripple (XRP) proved to be a good call but ETH is trying to catch. This fight for the 2nd place will be fun to watch,
indeed today Ripple had the second place under bitcoin and it was ethereum. but this was not long because ethereum returned to that position. Ripple is good but ethereum is a coin that I use often. 
Both of them have some best coins to buy or to hold also, And maybe if will of which of them are i'm gonna to hold maybe this two also. But for now the etherium was getting to a low of prices and ill think it will going to long to recover.
I will choose ethereum. Ethereum is altcoin today's best. Ethereum is a lot of investors silk choose. Price ethereum always at a high level compared with the Ripple. Ether is like bitcoin 2.0. In the future ether will be the coin most powerful.
I still choose Eth than ripple although price of ripple is good these days. I believe Eth will be in highest momentum again even price has drop. Eth will recover again and I am holding for long now.

ethereum is still the best coin than ripple, now ripple will continue to run in the best position but lacks development because many people are still confident and optimistic about ethereum. so I think ethereum can be used as an option.
Ripple, because Ripple prices is increasing higher and faster than Ethereum prices and I am sure that in the future Ripple will replace Ethereum in coinmarketcap.
I never liked much Ripple, it makes me think "a bank coin" each time I think about it. Ethereum I don't hate it but don't like Vitalik I find him a little arrogant. And when a lady don't like you there is nothing to do
Obviously Eth is far better than Ripple. Many token are based on eth not only that eth is popular in internet after btc. And just ignore the headline while eth was $1400 then people compare it with btc but right now eth is low then it is compare with ripple.
Ripple will die soon as many experts say and ETH is not so reliable now but its value is still very high which makes it very promising for investing today too. So I am for ETH.

I wish I would read your topic some weeks ago,but now it seems that xrp realised its potential and make like 2x for a week. I would sell xrp right now
Ethereum is facing some issues with scalability and the solutions for the problem is far away, while Ripple having some good news and new partnerships. Long term I think Ethereum will strengthen it`s second position among altcoins.

Even with those figures the numbers does not make it more easy to earn compared to Ethereum investments.Between XRP and ETH, I like the second one.
It is the difficult choice. It is possible to see as strongly today выpo Ripple. I think in the nearest future Ethereum will be on the second place again.
I would choose ethereum. Ether is the best altcoin today. The ether market is developing very strongly. There are many who invest in ether. It is like bitcoin 2.0. In future ether can replace bitcoin.

ripple doesn't really understand yet, how is the quality so I would prefer eth to invest rather than ripple because it's clear how eth is it's better to invest clearly
