I prefer ethereum, as I and the community as a whole have more confidence in it than in ripple. At the same time, there are a lot of rumors around the Ripple project, in particular that it is highly overvalued.

I think that fighting for second place does not make any sense. They hardly think about it. It seems to me that this myth was invented by people, that some kind of battle is taking place ... Both of this projects are developing very dynamically. I am sure that you need to invest in ripple and in ethereum.
ETH and Ripple can be said are two Altcoins are very strong competition and close together on the coinmarketcap. Ripple again passed ETH ranked second but not long ETH has regained position. According to me that we Should invest in both Altcoins this will be good this time and potential.

I will go for Ripple because Ripple is a tough coin although Ethereum is one of the top and tough coin... Ripple is better than Ethereum when it comes to the platform i am so amazed to the platform of Ripple and now many ICO's platform is ERC-20 that's why Ethereum gets a huge dump and reach less than $200.
I see that the second largest market capitalization after bitcoina is ethereum, I see that the ethereum platform provides better and easier to use features than the ripple platform
We trust brands. And these Coin - brand in the market. it is top. And for quite a long time to increase what our trust.
I prefer ethereum, the thing that makes me like ethereum is easy to trade, move assets, and of course almost all crypto markets are available ethereum, while Ripple is still unknown.
Of course I choose ethereum, I'm sure that ethereum's performance will continue to improve, the thing that makes ethereum's future improving is the number of tokens that are very dependent on ethereum.
I think both coins are very interesting and both will have a great potential. So, my opinion is hold both of this coin because we will be able to get good profit in future. But, when we compare this two coins i think ETH is the best because it has a good usability so it has a better potential in future.
I choose ripple because i like ripple. Ripple always doing some pumps and we can earn money from ripple. Eth seems more stable and more related with initial coin offerings. So i am buying ripple more and more. I hope they will pump that again . if they will pump i will earn huge money from ripple.
My position 2 or 3 is good and if you believe that both of them will be in that position, why don't you choose both? because in any position if you are still in the top 3 position I'm sure it's a coin that is really good and worth investing in and because now the price is falling, isn't this a good opportunity to have both at a cheap price?
To be honest, Ripple brings me all the time, even when the market is rapidly climbing up, Ripple managed to stand out, my opinion is that Ethereum is much more likely to grow than its competitor, Ethereum blockchain is very convenient and multifunctional, so I keep my funds in Ethereum.

For me i always believed in ethereum infact i used to invest now and hold it till the market price will recover. I don't really know about Ripple so i prefer to invest Eth.
For now eth is gradually recover so its a nice sign to all eth holder to buy more and expect big profit soon.

Well, it's not a question that can be answered objectively. Everyone will have their own preferences. I should say that both cryptos have their pros and cons and it's natural. There is a sense in buying both. I can suggest buying them on exchanges that accept cards or bank transfers, like CEX (https://cex.io/eth-eur).
Of course 2 coin these are good for investment , I think now Ethereum better in terms of investment and in terms of technology
