Yes indeed the ethereum is good not for long term but for smart contracts as well the main point i hold ethereum is for its investment because i do believe in the near future that the ethereum will have use for other purpose as well

True, so far ethereum is getting a lot of hype so that it can continue to maintain its existence and also their popularity in crypto. That will make ethereum increasingly become a large coin and continue to grow to achieve a high price with an increase that continues to be consistent over time. Early investment in ethereum and maintaining it to welcome it when it has become a big coin will generate many benefits.

Hopefully it will become in the future, and the contracts it has could extend more developments compared from now. Because current system doesn't work so well, due to some network problems on blockchain. Although it has a better track on trading capabilities, we need to consider those facts that eth potential will always be great because of the growing eth contracts.
ethereum has very big community. you know the last year some of smart contracts were hacked and members of ethereum foundation, white hat hackers were save the funds on most smart contracts. they took action faster and the damage was minimized.

I have currently started investing more in ETH in comparison to BTC. I feel that BTC price is very much saturated now.

The potential of the coin ethereum is very. big. This is the most popular and promising coin. If the Plasma project is introduced soon, which will increase the scalability of ethereum to hundreds of thousands of transactions per second instead of the current fifteen, this will greatly increase the popularity of this coin and increase its price, which, in my opinion, remains greatly underestimated.

Not just holding, I think it's the best time to invest in ETH as much as you can. Ethereum is the king of Altcoins and it can easily touch huge figure by end of this year. It's potential can be measured by this that almost 90% of altcoins are developed on ETH blockchain and follow ERC-20 standard. it's blockchain is faster than BTC blockchain.
Anytime along any situation, ethereum is alwayd good or best to buy among the top crypto coins. If you smart enough, think that buying eth cant result any losses of not selling below your buy order. So what ever happen eth will have increase on price. Buy now and hold, thats the idea. You will never loss just be patient if dump happened
Ethereum has big potential in my opinion, it is still very cheap and I'm waiting 3-4k dollar from it in 1-2 years easily. At these days it fell very much but it will recover when btc rise little.
Yes, of course Ethereum is very potential to be made an investment, there is no doubt about this coint, many have invested in ethereum because this coint is the best altcoint among the other altcoints, and certainly ethereum is able to survive for a long time

However, if the Safe network is completed ahead of Ethereum's sharding & hosting platform etc, it could take the lead (it will have sharding equivalents, full data hosting / dns, and be easy to use from day 1 - though that may be another year or two away).
There are a number of platforms that could overtake Ethereum in theory, but Ethereum has huge resources, great community, and great devs, so has a great chance to stay ahead and hopefully overtake Bitcoin in market cap.
Ethereum will also need to become a lot more user friendly to gain common users - wei? gwei? how many zeroes? Gas price? Gas limit? Not ready for normal people yet, but I hope it does adapt & develop including in its user friendliness.

ethereum is the major altcoin in crypto market. and it is the most useful altcoin as well in my opinion. because so many projects could adapt to blockchain technology with the help of ethereum project.
I think Ethereum has a big potential. But developer need to solve a scalability issue as soon as possible. I also hope that Vitalik's proposal regarding a hard cap for Ethereum of approximately 120 million will deflate the price.
