I do not think that will happen. Ethereum too overcome Bitcoins sounds strange to my hearing. Because Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. Etherium can not overcome Bitcoin as the price increases. Ethereum certainly a good alt coins.

too ambitious and lacks knowledge about analysis. you cannot compare and try to learn it, now ethereum goes down and it is difficult to grow back to the value that has been achieved. of course this can be a simple comparison between bitcoin. the fact is that until now bitcoin has always been at the forefront and whatever happens to bitcoin will have a major effect on other altcoins including ethereum.

I somehow do not believe that. Currently it does not look like that Ethereum can do it some day. Of course everything is possible in the crypto world, but nevertheless I think Bitcoin will remain the lead currency in the next years. I put my investment in both coins, so I'm on the safe side. I think both coins will have a successful future and thats why I'll keep both.

I used to believe that. But I do not believe anymore. Ethereum is not a crypto money substitute for Bitcoin.
No matter what happen, but no coin can overtake BTC even not ETH.
Ethereum cannot overtake bitcoin, why? Even eth is the no. 2 or 3 on the top, eth cannot surpass bitcoin in terms of value, or any altcoins in the markets, because altcoins stays an altcoins and it cannot replace the original one. Just take a look on top listed coins, none of them are nearing in bitcoin, even to be like a shadows of bitcoin.
You must have an imaginative mind to have ever contemplated the possibility of ethereum overtaking Bitcoin . But on a second thought did they not say that anything is possible in the world of crypto-currencies . So the slide in value of ethereum might actually be a signpost that when it bounces back it will do so with vengeance

Do you have any reason why this will over takes bitcoin as the top currency? I think you just dreaming for something beyond your control. Ethereum will still under the control of bitcoin when we talk about crypto and I don't think this can dethrone bitcoin.
ETH is a coin with a very huge popularity and possibilities. It will go further but overtaking btc is not the same thing. No altcoin will beat btc.

It's not based on bitcoin but the bitcoin trend was giving a lot of impact to the ethereum. Remember when it goes high and ethereum just try to follow the bitcoin. But this time it's on the different situation consider ethereum looks more bearish than bitcoin caused by there was a lot of icos were liquidating their money.
