LOL but no. Don't get me wrong, ethereum is a good coin and has proven times without number that it is one of the coins that we can use to make a lot of profit in the long run but there is no way that ethereum is going to grow enough to overtake bitcoin. The only way is if bitcoin stopped growing for a couple of years and ethereum kept growing that is the only way it would catch up which is very unlikely to happen at this point.
That only happens when the value of the bitcoin has to drop by 30% compared to the current time and Bitcoin lost the trust of users. By that time, Ethereum could have surpassed their limits, and ETH could change the user habits and cause the bitcoin to die, then the value of the ETH could outstrip the BTC.
The statement appears more unlikely in the wake of the recent movements in the ETH/BTC prices downward. In the long run however, adoption and utility will define who stays where. We are still in nascent stages of this market and more data will give rise to better charting and informed analysis as we go along. With the new coins/tokens, the Fundamentals are going to assume importance as we go along. Everything said and done, BTC will always have a head start due to the 'First mover advantage' over the others.

Yes absolutely , you are right but ethereum and some other altcoins doesn't totally depend upon Bitcoins price .

I do not think that eth will overtake bitcoin, but if that should happen it may be in the future but right now bitcoin is number one in all the coins. Ethereum will grow but i don't think it can overtake bitcoin, the difference is very farand the bitcoin price and dominance is higher than ethereum price.

Why you say like that, there's no possibility eth can take bitcoin place even crypto market scam. In every aspect bitcoin still number one and many people hold their bitcoin asset until market stable again. Eth only for alternative option even have high quantity and quality, eth just follower. I do not think that will happen. Though the price of eth will goes, it will still be the follower of btc for a long time and the price of it is not so good. I think there are many ways to distinguish between projects that are going on right now, but to be honest, there are too many projects and we won't have enough time for research. The rating site is a little helpful, but the market situation may not be comparable to the quantity of ico that comes. Of course not all projects are scams, but if the best project can't make tokens worth ico, I don't have the idea to give a title.

can you show a proof that this will happen? for all this years many altcoins are created including ethereum to overcom bitcoin but despite there numbers they still can't beat bitcoin. the difference between bitcoin and eth is big if you compare the two of them.
It's only your prediction, I will never believe in statement without a clear reason. In fact, the range of Bitcoin price is still far away from the price of ETH. I am really sure, next year, Bitcoin will still lead the price rate of crypto coins.
