If the erc20 token using it has high price then why is ethereum price not directly proportional?

why should you be disappointed and panic if indeed before you start investing first understand and understand all the risks that are obtained in an investment with cryptocurrency the price cannot be determined it is one of the risks I'm so disappointed holding it. I don't think that's going to happen for sure in the next couple of years. Bitcoin is a more established currency. Of course, we cannot exclude external factors that may affect the rate of Ethereum.
