Genoil, is it possible to start mining on the latest build on 4X7870 or need a special version with separation of DAG?

If it doesn't start, add -L sequential to Cmd line and try again. Needs version 1.1.3
it is working Shocked but used memory is the same 1500 MB for each card...

Yes that doesn't change. This feature uses less system RAM, not GPU ram

Hey, protip: If you do patch LDS accesses to shuffle, pay attention WHICH. Certain types of LDS usage are actually FASTER (broadcast.)

I HAVE NEVER MINED EXPANSE--

But, the responses in this thread indicate that the Expanse (EXP) blockchain has a far lower mining difficulty than Ethereum (ETH), and that EXP mines at a much faster hash rate.  How big is the EXP DAG file?  Would mining it with a 750ti rig still be practical?       --scryptr

The DAG for EXP is running up to 1.8G I think.  So you should be good for a little while.  After that I would probably start thinking about moving up to something in the 780 line if you have the cash or to SHIFT (SHF) coin.

Also and this is just a theory, you might be able to put 2 or more 750Ti's in SLI mode and mine with that.  It never worked out so well with SHA256 or Scrypt based coins but there isnt any technical reason it wouldnt work out for Ethash based coins.  But again I dont know of anyone that has actually tried it.
Atm EXP dag is less than 1.2G

Also can you share info how to run a pair of 750Ti in SLI mode?
As far as I know there is no SLI support from NVidia for 750Ti , seen only rumours that it could be done with "soft-modded" drivers.

i use the same setting on an other computer r9 380 too
but i get this error  No GPU device with sufficient memory was found. Can't GPU mine
strange i used cut and past so it s the same setting in bat file, i just change the miner name

i also tried in my 6x 380 ring but it s not working

it start  but it get stuck

and i notice gpu3 & 5 are not working
if i disable 1 gpu it works  so it s ok with 5 but not 6 ?

Try adding

Thus DAG generation will be serialized , not parallel on all GPUs as by default setting
It seems your system can't keep up with all 6 DAGs being generated

can you provide the link for the standard version? it should not offer anything for nvidia over the genoil version right? also why mining expanse when ethereum is still far more profitable...

The standard ethminer is part of the cpp-ethereum distribution http://github.com/ethereum/cpp-ethereum but it doesnt support nVidia cards, hence the need for genoil's ethminer variant.

My miner doesn't support dwarfpool. If you can raise 1 BTC (with a group of people), I will add support for it.

I had some time today to sniff the Dwarfpool connection.  Strange that after all this time, they would choose to implement a non standard version of the stratum protocol.  So its a Dwarfpool weirdness issue.  Regular farm mining through eth-proxy works just fine.  Im noticing a 7 Mhs increase in speed and more consistent mining speeds on my AMD rigs.

all this by using the eth-proxy instead of stratum mode with genoil miner?

I would love to use the stratum mode of genoil's ethminer but it uses a strict implementation of the original standard stratum protocol which Dwarfpool it seems unfortunately does not.  So, while it does connect and authenticate, it never actually gets work.  The speed improvement though is in the optimizations in the miner that genoil has done, eth-proxy is merely a bridge.

Just a quick empirical sniff of the network trafiic to and from Dwarfpool seems to show that Dwarfpool is expecting a hash rate from the client which can be enabled or disabled in the original ethminer but is not in the genoil version.  There may be other differences, I just have run out of weekend to dig into it.

otherwise my setting ok?   i only have 17-18 mh, i read somewhere 21-23 mh, but it s maybe for the 4gigabyte version of the r9 380

edit: solve this error, added --opencl-platform 1

Is 1.1 still having problems with unstable hashrates due to the streaming DAG?

I don't know if that ever was the cause. Apparently some people are using it successfully for a while already. I don't know how many rigs you have but you could always try one?
