NemosMiner-v3.8.1.3
November 04, 2017, 05:49:58 PM
I'm sure its been asked but since its impossible to search forum, I should ask again

Can any one explain to me how the fee option works in 3.4 ?
If I set "--fee 1" does the 2% included will be reduced to 1 or it will be 2+1 ?

It should reduce the fee to 1

as far as i can tell there is a default 2% fee, using command --fee 0 removes the fee system all together making it 0% fee...

I'm struggling with monitoring system,
Like claymore has dedicated monitoring soft were you can group all the miners and monitor with one web or software instance, is there any solution for EWBF? I have couple 8x1080 rigs and all running ZEC, just wanted to group them and see the monitoring stats on one page, is it possible?

5x 1080 rig, trying to mine BitcoinZ. Power target@80%, core +110, mem +800. Forced P0 state.

One of my GPUs is gradually losing speed using EWBF.
I've been mining other algos for days without interruption but as I tried to switch to mining equihash with EWBF this crap starts happening. Hashrate goes down, lower and lower until it crashes the rig. Any ideas what might cause it?
Do you guys know whether this could be either Cuda9 or driver related? It just makes no sense to me...

And just to be even more certain, since my EVGA SC 1070 ti showed up early (this morning, wasn't DUE 'till Friday) - it works VERY WELL INDEED with EBWF.

new 1070ti?.. nice!  and thanks for the info.. I was wondering as well.  Does it beat a 1080?

It is more efficient in my testing (by a narrow margin) than ANYTHING ELSE I've worked with for ZEC mining at that 60% TDP +200 core +700 memory setting - and I don't think I've SEEN any other reports of stable 4.35+ efficiency out of anything else.
Other models might eek out even better efficiency - but I suspect it won't be by much if at all, this card was running too cool for heat to have been a limiting factor on core boost.

It does not beat the 1080 on raw hashrate, though it is competative on hash/$ vs anything else in the NVidia 10xx series.

Is this just me or anyone else sees this in their 1070 Ti too ? It cant count properly.

Different GPUs - they're NOT all on the same count.

They are supposed to go incremental but as seen in the screenshot it isnt the case. There isnt any update on the miner since Jun so I am afraid dev wont look into it.

My 1070's say..

A:213, R:1
A:211, R:0
A:215, R:0
A:208, R:0

I'm curious what these mean.. but not sure if they are actually supposed to add up to anything like you mention?   Perhaps someone else can give a little insight.

Could anyone tell me if the EWBF miner will be ok with the new Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti  if ill have any problems with this miner and the card since its new not sure how that works, was going to try a few for a rig and i use this miner does anyone know if there will be any problems or consdering its like the same as the 1070 if it will be ok, would really apprecaite the help thank you.

There is no way to know for 100% sure before it's tried - but there is also no reason to believe that this miner won't work well on the 1070 ti, since there are no major changes in the basic architecture of the GPU that would cause issues.

Ask again in about a week, when folks that pre-ordered 1070ti start getting their cards and have a chance to put them in machines.

Thank you appreciate it.

And just to be even more certain, since my EVGA SC 1070 ti showed up early (this morning, wasn't DUE 'till Friday) - it works VERY WELL INDEED with EBWF.

+200 core, +700 memory, 60% TDP in Afterburner (the card UNDERCLOCKS the memory by default a bit, 7600ish "effective - memory setting bumped it up to 8996).
Bit over 100 watts, over 450 sol/s and appx. 4.4 efficiency on the current NVidia 388.13 drivers under Windows 7.

I had a full review in one of the 1070ti threads, linked to it in 1 or 2 other 1070 ti related threads, and also linked to it in the current Philllma thread.

I think there may still be some room to play with on this card, especially at the high end of it's range, never DID manage to get it past 66C at about 72% fan no matter how hard I pushed it (but I didn't bump TDP up past 100% in my testing).

"stratum subscribe timeout" sounds like you have an ISP issue, or the network interface on your mining rig died.
Could be an issue on the pool you're using though.

Windows update, ESPECIALLY ON WINDOWS 10, is notorious for BREAKING MINERS by forcing upgrades to drivers that often don't WORK.
It's one of the reasons I vastly prefer LINUX for dedicated mining rigs.

So, it also seems, that Windows 10 has an issue (at least for my PCs) with the network since the update to Version 1709. Since then the network disconnects after a (what it seems like) random period. I've got 2 PCs with the same spec and both show the same issues, after some time, I loose network connectivity (can't even acces any of my network devices). It's not the switch/router with the issue, because the "non mining" part of the network keeps working as good as before.

Any Ideas on that? I tried two different drivers for my (on board) Network adapter, but no sollution works, but it worked perfectly before Version 1709.
