I think it depends on your token holding because they have there own potentials when it regards to market.
Knowing that you could get free coins from Airdrops, would you exchange it once you got the coins or hold it until the vslue rises up?
If you selling the airdrop tokens, you won't get much unless the airdrop is valued above $10. Usually the airdrop rewards is below $5.
So in my opinion, holding is a good choice, but keep holding for long time. Holding for short time won't bring any good, the price can drop sometimes.
I agree that the airdrop project needs to be studied in order to make a decision. With different coins should be treated individually. Usually the first investors who buy these tokens sell coins. And after the sale of the coin value falls, then you need to wait for growth. But it all depends on whether there is interest in this coin in a large number of market users.

I don't get yet altcoin from airdrop since I don't participate in it. What I participated is in bounties. Before I sold immediately my tokens but now I am practicing to hold it and let's see if I can earn a lot in it..
If your coin has the potential to get high value it is better to HODL than exchange/ sell, if you do sell, soon or later the value of your coin rise you will regret selling it. Or better yet just Hold for a week then sell/ exchange it in a reasonable price/ value as you feel liked.
Most of the coins received from airdrop are very few and the value are very low. You should stay it to your wallet and HODL it until the price goes up.
I will keep them until the moment of rapid growth and then sell the bulk of the tokens in order not to lose the main stream of profit.
You can keep and hold if the project is really good to hold. It is good to hold if you know their project has the potential to rise in the market. It is important at first to know their roadmap and able to follow so that you know it is worth it.because of course not all tokens end with good prices
Holding or exchanging airdropped tokens or coins depends on the coin or token gotten and also the worth of the units of the cryptocurrency received. I would hold an airdropped crypto of a good project that is worth anything above 100 usd. Anything below that, I will sell on exchange and use the proceeds to get more of my best projects coins
As for me personally, this choice is usually determined after I made my research on the project. If I found it to be good and future potential coin, then I decide to hodl for long and if otherwise, I do sell off almost all before it dump too hard on me.
i prefer to hold it for a little longer for this time!! because trade market still down and down !! bitcoin still down to !! let wait for the token or coin will go increaing there price!!
I will be always updated with the community, with the news in order for you to have an idea of their target price of the tokens. Support always the community and never end with the term dumper of the coin. Read the whitepaper also.
I have always been a hoarder of my airdrop and bounty coins however that plan does not really work out all that well as they will do a coin swap with 24hr notice or just fade away. I may start dumping my coins on that first initial pump they usually get and be done with it. Waste way to much time researching.
Its not all coin will get pump in the first they hit an exchange because some of coin also grow gradually but slower than we expect.However, we need to sell it when the first pump if we are sure to hold our coin but when we are sure then hold it for longer time can male better money.
Depending on the tokens we get if we get lots of tokens and there is already a market, we must monitor to have a reasonable price for us to sell, because there are usually many tokens that have no value, so if we get an airdrop token that has more value for sold only token.

Most people will sell the card as soon as they receive it. So better sell before people sell, then you can buy back when the price goes down. And keep it until the price goes up again.
For me, most of the airdrops that I took part in the past are being exchanged immediately they are listed. My fear has always been that if I don't sell on time there is a high tendency that the price will dump and this is accounted for by the large amount of airdrop participanuts, atimes they are up to 20000.

for me, the right thing to do now, in a time like this is only holding. the price of the cryptocurrency in the market are low. so if you exchange I don't think if it qill worth it because the price is low but still, it is depend on you because if you have a price target set and if you achieved it then go.

Most coins from airdrops are low value and some of them are just shit coins. When i have free coins from airdrops, and i think this coin value is just enough for me then i will not wait for another drop to happen and i will sell it right away. But if that coin has a very low value then i will hold it and wait its value to rise.
