To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
You should just leave it, I think the bounty program that extends its campaign does not reach sales targets. That means the project that will be run by the developer is not good so investors are not interested in the project.

This year I did not join the bounty project so much, because some of the projects that I participated in ended up being successful but the results were not so good, although there was an additional duration of the week, and if I joined now there was also an increase in the duration of about 3 weeks from the previous made in 8 weeks, and the results I can not predict whether it will be good or not.

I tried going to the Xcard bounty thread but I didn't see announcement about adding 8 weeks.

8 weeks would be another 2 months of job so I hope it would be worth while for campaigns hunters. I have joined to campaigns doing this and it end up not well. I know it may not be the the fault of the campaign manager but he allow himself to be used by the team. It would be worth if the coin will have a good price in the end and tokens distributed before the exchange listing.

If they are going to pay with those extra weeks why not? They came short with the exact plan that why it is. They aren't forcing you either? are they? Besides such additional weeks is for the project to become successful though might as well participate to it, even though that you really came for the incentives then try to be sympathetic as well 'cause you already there from a long time.

I have participated in 2 or 3 projects before, and all of them gave me nothing. They ran away because they can not afford to run the project with limited money.
That's awful, but I've come to expect nothing less from these scammers even tho I don't participate in bounties myself.  You would have to be blind not to see all the scam accusations being leveled against project devs and bounty managers, and there have been *many* of them just in the last year alone.

Op, if you can get paid for the work you already did, I would ditch the bounty and find something else to do.  Find a signature campaign that pays with bitcoin if you're able to write constructive posts, because at least those are legitimate whereas the bounties paying in tokens...not so much.  Even if you do get paid your stakes, there is a good chance those tokens won't be worth your time when you go to sell them.

I'm not certain why a bounty would be extended, but it really doesn't sound like a good idea if I was a bounty hunter.  Just move on.

It is not advisable to participate for 8weeks more unless you will no longer qualify if you left the campaign early, but there are some bounty manager that they are allowing to the participants to leave if there are extended weeks added. Just remember the more the weeks the least you can get from the allocation.

I often find bounties like this after finishing with 12 weeks then add another 4 weeks to do promotion for the project, but the addition of 4 weeks time must be added to the allocation, otherwise I will stop and let it go, whether for results or not depending on the project if they are honest and serious I am sure this will generate good profits.

Proceed with caution. Mostly they are adding up more weeks to finished their whole ICO, to meet the amount of funds to raise to called it successful. 12 weeks as a start is not that long to finish an ICO, last 2017, most of the projects took 4-7 months before they wrap it up, in my opinion, you are safe because 8 weeks is just 2 months, just finish it and keep posting, that is the only way to figure out the result.

If you win, then you earn, if you lose, then you learn.

But i think if the project bounty is not required us to do the extended bounty but we can still receive the rewards it's recommended to move to other bounty.
Extended bounty means the project is not yet fulfilled the target yet and it indicates the project was not attract investors interest. So, i think we should find a better project rather than waste our time there (but if the project reach it's success, we still get the reward though)

I am tired with bounty campaign added extra weeks not correct with their first rule of bounty campaign week, I only join bounty campaign with phase five to seven weeks and very lazy for joining with bounty campaign running above ten weeks, how come if bounty campaign running above ten weeks and make extra week later, less payment reward with bounty campaign running above ten weeks.

It depends on the project that you are taking part in, if the project extends its bounty campaign for a purpose so that success in the project can be achieved, I don't think it's a bad thing to continue participating in it. So for me personally, it's better for you to observe every update made by the project and ask a few things that you want to know in the telegram and see how the team responds behind them.

In my practice adding extra weeks is normal, I often met this. It also does not guarantee that the project will be successful. Participating in bounty campaigns you always run the risk of doing work for free.

If the company is legit and they allocate more funds to the bounty campaign I don´t have any problem to support them for a longer time.
But many companies misuse it and in the end of campaign they not pay bounty hunters, that makes me very very angry.

I think it's a mixed feelings - in the sense that it might go well and at the same time it might not end well. I have participated in a campaign that extended for three more months and at the end it was worth it. A week upon listing my rewards hit over $3,000 which is something compared yo what one would've received in any regular Bitcoin signature campaign within that period. I have also taken part in a bounty that extended but ended up running away with investors money.
It will all depend on the outcome of the project. No one can actually tell if the project will go well or not. Some project is actually being successful after extending the project for a couple of weeks, however, not all of them succeeded.
I have also participated in an extended project, but sad to say, it never becomes successful even after extending it for a month.
It is still a 50/50 chance, you just have to decide if you will stay or not.

This depends so much on the coin you are promoting. But adding extra time means usually that there will just be more hands or bots to share the pot with, and by doing that diluting the price. It's awfully annoying and usually it reads in the small print that they have a right to do that. But i would rarely continue, it's never a good sign about the team itself when they decide to get more of free advertisement because they can, they will probably screw you over again, just because they can. Because why not?

I've been to several bounties that have been extended for months. It is up to you if you think it is worth it or if you have any other bounties that could move to if you don't want to extend for a week or two. Some bounties don't let participants leave the bounty or else your stakes will be forfeited, in that case, you have no choice. Some bounties extend because they still lack fund to proceed with the project or they would like to gather bigger funds.

Usually if a project extends time for a bounty campaign we can assume that they want to do more marketing to promote their project. I think it's fine if they also add more funds to the bounty hunters. But if they don't add funding to that, then you are advised not to continue. We can think that they only want to use the hunters only for their personal gain, projects like this are fairly cunning and not committed.

You know buddy promoting bounties in these forum has change a lot back then, that's why don't expect good and profitable results since they are creating a new norms, that very disadvantageous to the bounty hunters. Like what you said "adding more weeks of promotion" I think it should not be permitted without additional payment, or if the budget still the same that's not fair, aside from bounty payments are too lengthy before getting paid and the worst they locked your tokens for 6 months to 1 Year for me that's not good, that's why i was carefully examine some bounties gladly i found some bounties that still worthy to promote.

This should be an additional bonus to the bounty hunters because more work should requires more allocations of tokens and not only stakes.

Bounty hunters should understand that any project that added extra weeks to their bounty without increasing the token allocated for the program is likely to scam both investors and bounty hunters.
