I have experiences with many bounty campaigns that have been extended for more weeks. Some of them have given good results for bounty hunters even after extending bounty weeks. But some of them do not increase the size of bounty pool even after extending bounty weeks. In that case, I quit if the project seems not so much profitable. Or if the project seems profitable in the future, I would continue.

Actually, I often find projects like that, usually it happens because the teams can't reach the funds that have been targeted, so that extends the week so we prize hunters feel upset because the results we get don't match the time we've spent, but there are also some that give a gift as close as we wish.

The reason for extending bounty campaigns is usually due to the fact that the project does not have enough funds. Therefore, the team members of the project often extend their pre-sale time and bounty campaigns in order to obtain sufficient funds. This time can then be extended again. So I suggest you do some more research before you continue your bounty campaign. If you still trust the project at the end of the research, continue the bounty campaign.

To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you

the extension of bounty campaigns is a major problem immediately after late kyc launch and also reduction of the pool.

basically, there would be 2 factors that could mitigate the problem.
-1) the pool is increased
-2) there is the possibility to get out without loss of stake

that would be the 2 minimum requirements to make such an extension reasonably acceptable. but even that is unfortunately often not so.

Consideration of the addition of the allocation and the success of the project when funding might be one of my reasons why it persisted even though it would be extended. but if it turns out that it doesn't match the expectations then I will come out. no longer want to waste time on campaigns that ultimately cannot benefit us. we better find a new one. several times I made the decision and after I checked when it turned out to be right, many had problems

If you feel like the project is dubious then it's better to quit it already. Try finding fact on that project in their site or even in their telegram account. If it's in the rules that they pay you even if you leave the campaign then better do it now than missing other promising bounty campaigns.
Really tough decision making but I agree with you. It's best to quit if you are doubting the project, there's a lots of available options that you might missed if you proceed and participate with that extension period. Both sides have its respective risk, if you continue and the project turned to be scam
then you lost your precious time, else, if the project is legit and you didn't continue then you lose your chance, and like what you have said better to coordinate with the campaign manager and ask if you can save your stakes after removing the signature code.

you should stop participating on it because your just wasting efforts and time . In fact 4 weeks is enough to participate  when it comes bounties and no need to worry if you left because if its not a scam project you are still eligible for the payments . So that's really a big mistake mate  wherein until now you are still assuming despite the lies their making. Wth?  Are you sure that there's still some legit project nowadays ,especially through bounty campaign?  I don't think so...

The first thing you need to know is why they extended the week for their bounty campaign. Such situations I have experienced and often it is because they have not reached their target funding to continue ICO campaign. So they added weeks to the bounty to gain more awareness of their campaign to attract more investors.

It depends upon the potential of the project. I have done it before and it was just a waste of time since the project that I have promoted for more than 20 weeks still failed and ended up as a shitcoin. It happens of the given time for the crowd sale isn't enough for them to succeed. If you see a good potential out of that project, then it's fine to continue.

It's your decision. If you think that it's worth to continue participating to that bounty with the additional 8 weeks, go for it. But if you think that there's already a lot of time you have dedicated to it and you need to find another it, think of it and check the rules if it's okay to leave.

It's more about your wise decision making and everyone can say, "yes continue" or "stop, find another one".

That would be 20 weeks or over 5 months of promotion, check the bounty rules if you have the option to leave the campaign and retain your stakes, then you can leave but if the rules say that you have to finish the bounty before you can get your stakes then you have no option, you are a hostage of their rules, I have experienced that in the past, now I make sure that when I'm joining a campaign I make sure that I will retain my stakes even if I leave the campaign.

It is indeed tiring to know that most of the bounty projects have extended their campaign period as well as bounty length but if it would be for the good of the project for a long run, I think it would be worth waiting. If they won't do such adjustment, the project might fail its crowdsale and might be unsuccessful. Be patient for now and be considerate with the sudden changes because the market behvior is really becoming a problem for most of the projects in the market.

If there is an extra pool added as well and the project is worth of my time then there won't be a problem, but some times some bounty would want to extend bounty duration without increasing the bounty pool, if the project is legit and has a future I wouldn't mind staying, or if I have a reason to leave I expect bm to be understanding and reserve my earned stakes.

It depends on how much you believe in the project, I have seen a campaign that added 16 weeks after the initial 4 weeks expired, but I think you should talk to the bounty manager, many of them are pretty understanding in situations like this and they would agree to retain your stakes even if you leave the campaign because they know that it wasn't part of the initial agreement, but if you decide that the project is worth it, then you keep on working for it and hope they keep to their word about the payment of the bounty when the 8 weeks elapses.

usually such a project or moreover an ico project that adds a longer duration or about 8 more weeks is a warning for you and other participants to make a direct decision. between continuing and leaving are equally at risk, but in my personal opinion the 75% percentage of such projects is not will succeed. so, determine and decide before your efforts become in vain.

You already work for 12 weeks with that campaign and maybe if you leave you will no longer qualified to get your reward so If I were you, if you want to leave then ask the campaign manager if its ok and if not you'd better to continue and wait for another 8 weeks to see if its really worth it. A big risk if a bounty has extended because you don't know if its still worth it or not, you have to take the risk and make a good decision.
I doubt it if the OP will be qualified to get reward for the eight weeks work I also participated in a bounty similar to that one after promoting them for 12 weeks they extended it for another 8 weeks I Pmed the bounty manager and notify him about leaving the campaign I was informed  that I won't get payment for the job done, this is very annoying and those are one of the risks as a bounty hunter, another issue is the coin being worthless after listing and many more.

I've seen worse. A 6-month bounty program was then extended 2 times for 3 months. I remember a bounty program that tooked about 50 weeks.
If the project worth it, then you should continue. But if they won't pay at the end, I suggest you leave.
If they won't pay at the end? how will you know if they will pay or not? well my own advise is to make your choice within youself, if it ends up bad you should learn from your mistake, its really unpredictable, most times its garbage and few times it will worth it
many bounty campaign didnt pay their participants work.they just take advantages from bounty hunter ,sometimes if they pay ,allocation will reduced alot and we could not do thing.if bounty have several round ,we have to ask to team or bounty manager ,could us leave campaign and our work still calculated.if they decided wont pay our work if leave it will harmed us,and the decision back to us again.but personally i am never continue campaign that have extra week.it represent they failed to attract investor with projects quality.

Well you can do nothing else if they have something like in the rule saying you won't get paid if you leave in the middle. You only have to continue promoting them till the end.

Investors or bounty hunters don't much like shifting the dates of the ICO and bounty end date (which is related to ICO end date as well) still I have seen some projects achieve success in the past (like 2-3 years ago) but situation now is very different so I don't think its gonna work like that now.

Extended project means they haven't fund enough money as their target. That means low interest from the investors and i think it's not worth to continue the bounty because there are newborn projects maybe one of them is good and we have to move to another project and let the new people join the extension bounty
