Let's see where the thing with the new setup goes, for now, it seems like the FIA has no intention of going further with the inquiry, but suddenly the RB car going better than the rivals for sure it's going to raise some eyebrows
https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/articles/c93yvz7xdgzo

Anyhow, still keeping the initial plan, sti going with Max winning this title and even Ferrari beating RB, and with my ace Perez doing the usual outside the top 10, nothing seems like going wrong, as long as Lando can't beat Max by 2 places and the Ferraris don't crash I see no flaw in it.

Yeah, and he is calling out on Red Bull to make some efforts to upgrade their machines.
After they lost a lot of names like Adrian Newey and Jonathan Wheatley, they also lost their race strategist Will Courtenay (who is now with McLaren) and that may actually have a big part of why they are not winning.

Verstappen also said that he always has a meeting in the factory with Pierre Wache but he also said that one man or two cannot make a difference, it must be a "collective effort". I think he is most likely pressuring the Red Bull management to do some work too.

It seems that Max Verstappen is now frustrated with this season it never went their way since the time when George Russell won in the Australia GP, and then the rest of their race RB is not winning at all even though Verstappen is making it into the podium there are a lot of fans that are now questioning if RB could still make it this season and Lando Norris is slowly catching up while Sergio Perez is on the 8th spot of the standing it never really get in the way for Red Bull, while when it comes to gambling many are in disbelief and it was pretty much hard to make a bet (for me) it is hard to decide on who's going to win.

It seems that Red Bull has a show time doing preparation while Verstappen is forcing the Red Bull team to do their part and to make preparations quickly this is the United States Grand Prix and the Circuit is really wide free for cars to overtake so they can see some overtaking action this is a hard time for Red Bull now so they would likely need to fix their problem while making an attempt to show for the machine to gain momentum faster because they got the best driver so if they keep on pressuring their driver in not liking his machine then this GP is still going to be bad for Red Bull.

I remember South Korea had F1 track in past which was in the middle of nowhere, but it was removed from calendar. Now they're talking about street circuit and I'm not very excited about street circuits.
Besides Argentina and South Korea there was some talks in recent years about South African GP. I'm not even talking about tracks like Istanbul, Nurburgring or Portimao which don't have place in calendar. There is so many cool tracks around the world and so little space for it in F1 calendar.

Neither SK nor Argentina have real chances of materializing!

Argentina is clearly a no, the government is cutting spending as the country is beyond bankrupt, and no way in hell is Milei going to cough up at least 20 million $ every year assuming they manage to get the sponsors and the areas of the cough up the rest of the sum.
As for SK, put it simply there is no interest in it, motorsport gathered no real fanbase there, call it cultural or whatever SK is different from Japan, but motorsport have never done well in SK, and even if they get the money to participate again it will for sure be temporary again.

Regarding news I've read today that South Korea officially started the necessary steps to reintroduce the circuit they have back into F1 but like you said above , it's really hard to get back in F1 as there are so many beautiful tracks out there that don't have the room to be in F1 ( example Turkey circuit ) but with South Korea , having a huge amount of funds to make it happen , I won't be surprised if we see them in F1 from 2026.  Cool

I would especially love to see Turkish GP back in the calendar.  Roll Eyes  It is one of the tracks that the drivers like at the same time. I can say it is a pretty challenging one as well. There is a new management at İstanbul Park now. I'm keeping my hopes up about a long term contract...

It is finally time for some action again! This is a track on which Verstappen is quite successful. However I doubt that this time if Red Bull hasn't made much progress meanwhile.

McLaren has been much stronger and we have all seen how comfortable Norris can win too. I still expect another win by Norris. By the way there are new podium caps and trophies ready for Austin GP.  Smiley

Finally it's race week, that one month break was very long. And this week we will have Sprint. Race is held in Austin track in Texas, so for us in Europe it will be in evenening. But what can be better than some F1 in these long, dark autumn evenings Smiley

Well yes in money we dont have so much to argue about it against South Korea, like you said they are gonna have a much better handicap.

But we can have some more passional fans, and plus south america needs another track, with only interlagos is not enough.

Well some related and not so related info.

Since the Colapinto summoning to Williams , F1 in Argentina starts to breath again. Some big sponsors and companies, plus the goverment are willing to have again the "Argentinian GP" which is not raced since 1998.

In 1 november the FIA and the minister of sports of Argentina is gonna start the talks.

Fun fact, the Argentinian GP was the firts GP outside of europe back in the days.

I dont know what track is gonna be used, because all the tracks needs a huge ammount of money to become at F1 level.

Just for fun this video of the possible opening.

By the way I have heard Mick Schumacher has a chance for a Kick Sauber seat in 2025.

I think that in the end the seat will be taken by Bottas.
It is a safe bet from the team, a good driver, experienced that don't do a lot of accidents.

I will also emphasize this.
Unless Mick can bring enough sponsor money to cover the cars he's wrecking and some healthy extra,... I don't know if anybody is brave enough to let him drive.
Yes, he comes with a big name, which means good coverage (and sponsors) and also quite some pressure on him, but he was rather disappointing.

In a world where the Honey Badger is out I don't think that there's room for Mick, unless he manages some impressive PR stunt somehow.

Finally we are about to enter the US GP week.  Roll Eyes  I have missed F1 so much meanwhile. Another break of 1-month, really man? I wonder who planned this calendar...

These are the current odds. Norris is a huge favourite which is no surprise. McLaren is still strong despite that ban on the illegal wing. I know the first race with their new wing was a street track. But I still think their pace will be way higher than Red Bull.  Smiley

I think he would be already okay with it. As far as I know he has been a reserve driver for Mercedes so far. It would be better than waiting his turn which isn't even guaranteed. You know, Mercedes has signed Antonelli.

^_^ hilarious. I get that same reaction sometimes when I read some posts and then I think about popular stars and they sound like it.

Max Verstappen is not the problem and I think that is proven for many races in many events.

I believe you after so much rest with F1 I have missed many races this season upon returning I never thought that Red Bull had so many problems and Max Verstappen had some problems with his machine, Max Verstappen is really good and the problem is not about him but his machine needs something it is not a problem with the driver but with the Red Bull's Mechanic for sure other teams have already got through with their upgrades and I think that the Red Bull will need to do something to figure out how they can retaliate.

It's too obvious what is happening, McLaren made some good upgrades and I think RB cannot keep up.

I don't know if this is the real problem.

Seeing how good the upgrades the McLaren has now made the RB very volatile in making errors but for sure Max is not at fault here for me it is the mechanics and for sure they need to listen more with Max Verstappen I have heard that Max Verstappen was handed with a penalty taking a community service in the last Singaporean GP for using inappropriate language in a press conference, and because of that Max Verstappen might think of early retirement and could make this happen early on as I think that he is not enjoying anymore.

I first read Liam Neeson and I was like wtf is this, April 1st?  Grin

And here is Guardian jumping the horse again, a clickbait-ish title:
Liam Lawson gets F1 chance to replace Pérez alongside Verstappen at Red Bull
while in the article you have this tiny line
Quote
“Obviously we’ve got a contract with Sergio for next year,” Horner said.

I think RB should put their priorities straight, they first need a car, and a car cost money, Perez is bringing a ton of money, if you can't make a world champion out of your best pilot throwing away the financial aspect for a new pilot while the team is in distress sounds like ignoring the obvious and trying to find a macical cure for everything that won't obviously do a thing.

Red Bull F1 gap to McLaren a ‘whole new world’ – Helmut Marko

Quote
Lando Norris controlled proceedings at the previous round in Singapore as he converted pole position into a considerable 21-second winning margin over Verstappen.

McLaren has emerged as the benchmark side this season and three victories in four races since the summer break has seen it displace Red Bull in the championship.
It's too obvious what is happening, McLaren made some good upgrades and I think RB cannot keep up.

Red Bull’s struggles reached a “low point” at Monza as Verstappen described his RB20 as being a “monster” as he bemoaned experiencing problems with the balance.

I don't know if this is the real problem.
Quote
Marko stressed that Verstappen’s warnings should not be underestimated, particularly in light of the Dutch driver’s strong character and unwavering principles.

"Max has to be taken seriously," Marko stated. "Max has achieved an awful lot. But for him, it’s important that he still has the passion and fun in the sport. If that’s increasingly being taken away from him, knowing his character...when he says, ‘Okay, that’s it’, he really means it."

Well we have to wait nearly 3 weeks until the next race at Circuit of The Americas in Austin on Sunday, October 18-20.
That is quite the break for each driver and I am certain Lawson will have plenty of track time until then to make his seat at Visa App RB warm enough for Texas.

Yes, it is good enough time period for Liam Lawson to get used to racing in F1 again. I think he has a good talent as well. Maybe the same impact happened after Colapinto joined Williams can happen to Lawson at RB.  Roll Eyes

It looks like there is a big rise in ticket sales for Austin GP. It is mostly because of Verstappen's not being able to win anymore, they say.  Grin

Source: https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/austin-f1-ticket-sales-took-off-since-verstappen-stopped-winning/10659699/

I also think the same. In the end, people want to see competition. They don't want to watch boring races. Of course even in this situation some races are quite boring. But in general, it is a superb season with lots of different winners.

I wasn't expecting Ricciardo to leave this early. I mean I thought he would stay until the end of the season. But seeing him get emotional after the Singapore GP described the situation.

Even his contract for 2024 was a.. I don't know. 3rd, 4th, 5th chance. He was already too close to lose the seat in favor of Liam. Since them he didn't perform as expected. Yes, the luck was also against him, but overall the number of points obtained was small, sadly, and that's what matters.
I do like him and I'll be missing him, but F1 is a tough sport and he was one of the few nice guys in the shark tank.

I am happy that he at least got the fastest lap in his last race. At least this last race was not a total disappointment for him, I hope.
Think I was watching on the post race videos from one of those F1 podcasts that Christian Horner radioed into Verstappen to let Daniel Ricciardo get the fastest lap. As a tribute to the former Red Bull driver on his potential final race in F1.
Well Norris really would of liked to get that one point for fastest lap in the gap for drivers championship.
