I was completely busy for the past couple of days and I certainly lost track of what is happening now, I am certainly not aware that the Practice was already starting, so what did I miss, but certainly after a quick review of the current practice here are the results for the FP1 and FP2 for the Australian Grand Prix and Albert Park Circuit,
They really had a hard time with Turn 11 and also the traffic jam that could cause disaster. There are just a lot of happenings in the Australian GP and I can't wait to watch the race and what would happen with them.

It was a hard turn on the gravel part of the corner, but still, Max Verstappen looks really ready in getting the fastest lap again, but yeah I think Sergio Perez is kind of salty about it even though they are teammates there is some kind of drama inside Red Team, but that Turn 11 to 12 was the focus of this Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit,

Now here are the results for the Australian GP at Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit, before the real race starts today,

That near crash of Sergio Perez on Nico Hülkenberg though has really cost Perez this run and was struggling with his car on this practice not looking good for the Saudi Arabia winner, while Max Verstappen is setting another fastest record here on Melbourne,

I have watched the further renovation and changes to the Circuit have made it more difficult, that curve is actually a trap for racers and turn 11 to 12 is a crucial turn so the driver will surely need to be more cautious on that turns, that is where Max Verstappen caught something a gravel that led to his tire malfunction in the recent practice,

An impressive run from Esteban Ocon who took 3rd place in FP3. Perez was frustrated because of some problems with his RB19 and ended in 6th place. Max Verstappen taking the top rank.
The drizzle seems to really give them a horrible run, especially in the turns where drivers are finding themselves in grass or gravel after turns.

The debris pun was hilarious. "Debris came from de Vries."  Grin
Red flag. When a part of the body was found loitering on the track at Turn 9. It was dangerous though and later it was found out that something was loose and not from a hit.

Sergio Perez is pretty much frustrated about his car and after tasting the win at Saudi Arabia Gran Prix he surely wants more to get to the championship, well there is an impending drama between red bulls' two drivers and right now Sergio Perez is showing it now on social media, and make a statement that he wants to beat his own teammate, but Max Verstappen doesn't want that and wants the win for himself aswell,

It was a dangerous De Vries!!! Cheesy it was a hilarious pun in his name Nyck De Vries but that Debry is dangerous and Leclerc reported it,

I would have guessed Max would be more likely to crash in this weather and the track, because track is a bit unforgiving and he is known for his right on the edge driving, which gives him the best results obviously so there is nothing wrong with that but it is very close to going out most of the time with the milisecond mistakes. Did not expected Perez to be out.

I was hoping for another Perez win, its early in the season so surprises are a bit more common, and while Max wasn't used to the car just yet, maybe something shocking would have happened, and that's out the door already. I wonder how further Perez would be able to move, I am 100% certain that he would get points, but how far can he go, podium? I am not so sure, probably not.

Sergio Perez is hoping for a win, but he doesn't do well with the 3rd practice I think he will accustomed nicely, but if you look at the starting point of every racer Sergio Perez is on grid 20, it is not looking good for him winning this circuit if he's starting at the bottom,

Well well well , it seems Mercedes really improved the car over a weekend! Not only this , but it seems the entire team is focus and determined to improve this car as fast as they can. Sure , they won't fight for titles but overall , after what I saw in qualifiers today , I can say for sure that Mercedes are not tight or even slight better than Aston Martin.

Tomorrow , it should be a race where everyone from top4 might have a chance for victory.
I can't wait to see what happens in the Sunday race because seeing the practice sessions they have really improved their car. Mercedes being P2 and P3, Russel leading, they have definitely done improvements to the car. I hope that they are able to somehow compete this season and have a podium, especially Hamilton. It has been a while.

Additionally, I'm excited to see what Perez could do starting at the last position with the RB Car. Are they really overpowered and it is their season or do some teams have a chance?

I like that quote as it is like a limerick.. but just a bad one for Nyck.
Alot of drivers found their way off the track and this was in sunny conditions so maybe they are just not use to this track is all.
But Perez did end up in the gravel and said he had technical issues(had something like an engine lock up during a turn) which took him out of qualifying.
Checo is in the back row at the start of the race on Sunday.

Max did have some harsh words for the governing body who decides how the races should be organized when it comes to starting positions.
He mentioned after qualifying if they keep making these sprint races mandatory inorder to qualify who starts at pole for the final race, then he will probably quit the sport. They want to institute this as soon as the race in Baku this season.
Here is what he had said to the independent linked site:

FP1 Results and what did happen

Max Verstappen took a spin complaining about his tires, it was because of the gravels in the turn 11, but again he still finish with the fastest record of 1:18.790, well at 1st thing that I have seen this racer I thought that Keith Thurman was switching career from boxing to F1 do I am the one who's seeing a resemblance? but again Lewis Hamilton landed in 2nd place for the F1 Practice 1 while Sergio Perez landed in 3rd place,

FP2 Results and what did happen

The Red Bull Team was shocked to see an Aston Martin vehicle in front of pretty much Max Verstappen complaining about traffic, while Charles Leclerc on the Ferrari cut Max Verstappen and gained the upper hand and got the 2nd place for this practice run, while Fernando Alonzo was really happy in getting the 1st place but I think because of the rain many surely have struggled a lot, and rain could be a real bummer sometimes, while Logan Sargeant was on the last place because of an electrical problem that got him stuck and could continue,

With F1 coming back in the next few weeks we will have several posts regarding the new season and some new updates here.
So feel free to comment on the thread with what you most like to see in the upcoming F1 season from Sportsbet.io.

Here is mine with Aston Martin returning back into the winners circle:
https://robbreport.com/motors/cars/aston-martin-unveils-amr21-formula-1234599607

Testing starts tomorrow is stay up to date on how this will go on:

I am hardcore Fan of F1 racing from my childhood. I have watched These F1 sports and I was stunned to see that these professional gamers are very hard working and keen.  But still I have no idea about something that is written below
Why Redbull is In F1 Racing as this is a Energy Drink Brand. And Also it's pays a lot of fee to it's Drivers.
Those were one of the first posts on the thread so was surprised to see an Aston Martin on there instead of the Red Bull or a Mercedes.
So it goes to show you Aston were destined to make waves the way are now 2 years later.
Thanks for showing that post but now we have a much more experienced driver behind the wheel so you know he will make the team proud of his performance as he has for the first two races in the season.

As for the Australian track, it looked as if there was going to be a wet track for the weekend but it has cleared up enough to have the qualifying in about 7 hours from now being dry enough for Max to do his magic.
Have flipped between him and Sainz on who will take pole position for this GP Sunday but stuck with Verstappen since I have him for all my first picks.

I wonder if McLaren will have a good round here because they really need it! There are also rumors that a lot of their sponsors are not happy with how this team is currently evolving in F1 as last year was a light of hope for them after a decade of not fighting for podiums and then this year started and they are almost the slowest car on the grid. Like , how can that happen with them ? I would say bad engineers and not having a STEADY constructor engine as they shifted from Renault to Mercedes for so many times in last years...

Anyway , Albert Park circuit always delivered high entertaining races and I hope this one will deliver as well! I'm also waiting for more news from paddock to see who changed what on their car.
McLaren had a problem with the front wing and were the first cars to pit in the last race. So there is definitely an issue with the front end of the McLaren cars. Hard to say whether it is the drivers or the engineers when you have such serious problems right at the beginning of the race.
But yeah, they need to get their stuff together if they don't want to fall even further behind the other teams so early into the season.

**stretches to go back to Superbru and see what picks they're suggesting (assuming that the chronology in the drop down is ranked by probability?).

Australia, if I remember, made some changes to their track last year, but I can't remember if it was to make it harder or easier haha. Headlines are calling fastest race in Melbourne ever, so I suppose that means wider tracks, maybe straighter?

AT dead bottom after 2 races, if they get nothing from here, I'm really going to have to rethink my support...

I have a feeling that Max will dominate from FP1 until Race ending because frankly I don't see Ferrari or Aston produce any type of surprise yet and be competitive but I do see Ferrari improving a bit and hope for more updates on Barcelona track.

Yep , agree with Max vs Perez and I do hope we will get a fight like we had with Hamilton vs Rosberg which was quite the battle until the last corner of Abu Dhabi.

Ohh yes! That would deserve a documentary itself and maybe a movie in the coming decade but a season from Netlix will do for now <3.

I think Max Verstappen just recently became champion in the 2021 season and the last year 2022 season and if he's going to be in 2023, champion it will be the 3rd time Max Verstappen champion, right now he won the Bahrain GP, then landed 2nd place with the Saudi Arabian GP, the next GP will be the Australian GP that may start on April 2nd, right now Red Bull machine are dominating the scene because of its unique design aerodynamic body and lightweight composition that keeps it on top, while Max Verstappen is only delivering with his great driving experience, so pretty much if not Max Verstappen it could be Sergio Pérez of the Red Bull team would be triumphant with the victory,

I also agree with your expectation of a fierce battle between Max and Perez, similar to the Hamilton vs Rosberg rivalry in the past. It's always exciting to see two talented drivers pushing each other to the limit and fighting for every inch of track space.
and yes you are right, a documentary or movie about such a season would definitely be a treat for F1 fans. But for now, we can look forward to an exciting season ahead and hope for some unforgettable moments on the track.

Well, both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are teammates in the Red Bull Team and because they both got an F1 Machine that is aerodynamic and got lightweight bodies these two drivers can surely be equal in terms of, but surely it will be shown in their driving skills if what may happen I think the Aston Martin machine is 2nd to the Red Bull machine that has great features, as back in 2020 when Lewis Hamilton won the championship with their Mercedes machines,

The next track on the F1 tour is the Australian Grand Prix, so this is a totally different beast.
Ferrari won it last season and did it in good form, but with all of what we have seen from the red side, I don't know if they can pull it off again unbeknownst a miracle from down under.
Not sure if Verstappen and Perez are in good terms with eachother from after the last race.
But that just might be the media trying to stir some drama between the two red bulls for the DTS netflix show making a soap opera like storyline they have concocted or maybe for a behind the scenes.

Toto Wolf basically said that Red Bull having a big domination is not something they should be guilty of, or FIA be guilty of, that's the nature of the sport and they had it from 2014 to 2020 as well and sometimes this happens and its part of the sport. I think he is right and this domination that Red Bull has will go on for as long as other teams can't catch them, if other teams start building better cars and reach to their level then we can have some difference. Look at 2021, sure you can argue if FIA gave the title to Max or not on the last lap, but it is true that Red Bull reached close to Mercedes that year, so other teams should try to do that towards Red Bull as well. This year is already over from just two races, we know Red Bull will win, but they should work on next years car right away.

Adrian Newey's design and ingenuity have proven that his aerodynamic design and lightweight body machine surely if there are some blueprints for the other teams think this is a great machine to copy, well if other teams would surely know the Aerodynamic design to it, but let's not takeout the credit for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's performance if not for them for taming the Red Bull machines and their talent in great driving this is not possible as well, because we all know the driver is more important and without them that car ingenuity will not surely be shown,

Aston Martin's car seems to be a hybrid between three different cars from last years variants:
Alpine, Mercedes and Red Bull.
Alpine for their pod concept with the curve on the top which is not similar to any of the above mentioned car designs.
Mercedes for the front wing design but has slight variations to make it even more aerodynamically superior in every sense of the word.
And last but certainly not least the Red Bull Racing RB18 in it's over all body structure from the 2022 season.
Hence the joke from Sergio at the end of the premier race back in Bahrain.
https://www.planetf1.com/news/sergio-perez-joins-aston-martin-banter-bahrain

Aston Martin is no joke if they could get the blueprint for RB18 Machine then Fernando Alonso will have a better chance of getting a win as well, but for sure Aston Martin machine are not really behind the great RB18 machine and I never know that the machine has have gone to evolution to make it, even more, better, because it looks just the same as the other vehicles I never imagine that it has a major change at all,

Fernando Alonzo is an honorary RedBull driver back then, whom Aston Martin has acquired I think Fernando Alonzo surely has some common knowledge just like the two RedBull drivers in all getting the win, and pretty much I was really surprise about it,
