@Samarkand  @Hhampuz  Thanks.

There is just one thing to add: If you go to any market page and place a lay bet we convert the odds for you and display them as "offered odds". So no need to use an external calculator.

Low amount of sports bet as I can see..
Overall a nice site, giving it a try.

Registered an account to lay bets, I am still yet to figure out how it works, but one thing is for sure, it is nothing like betfair. Liquidity is not bad for a bitcoin book, wish we could lay bets and trade live in play.

Actually Fairlay has lots of similarities to Betfair  Wink

You can lay bets by clicking at the purple colored odds (with the standard setting it is displayed
as a win percentage instead of American odds or decimal odds, but you can change it in the settings) and picking the Maker/Taker option on the left.

If you want to convert back/lay odds (I assume you are familiar with these terms as you already seem to know Betfair?) you can use a calculator like this
if you are too lazy to calculate it manually:
https://www.wettforum.info/misc/lay_back.html

Live bets are also possible and you can find them at:
https://fairlay.com/markets/live/

However, I would advise you to bet against the existing liquidity provided by the market makers as it is really hard to get matched in play with your own orders.
The user base is simply not big enough for live trading at the moment and spread out across too many different time zones.
This advice only applies to in play markets, otherwise getting your orders matched works pretty well if you offer better prices than the
existing market makers.

Meh.
A couple of key people just dropped their support for Bitcoin-2X. We welcome this decision though we encourage the community to find a solution to increase the blocksize in the near future.  We are not goint to support the 2X - HF anymore and  Deposits / Withdrawals will not be halted around November 16th.

Great news I believe.. For everyone involved. I think it could have turned out to be a complete shit show. But now we'll just continue with business as usual Smiley.

Good for you to stand up for what you believe in though! Props.

BTC-2X futures trade at 0.12 right now. Unless there is a huge shift we will stay in BTC-1X.

That's a great way to approach this entire situation actually. Although if 2x would trade at a 2:1 rate to BTC  I still don't think it would make sense to just completely switch over.

Either way. Great for you guys!

Deposits / Withdrawals will remain disabled from approx. November 15th to November 17th. Please do not send deposits  or initiate withdrawals during that period or you won't be eligible to receive your BTC-2X coins.   We will put an announcement on while payments are shut down.

Meh.
Will we be credited with Bitcoin Gold? Or do we need to move our BTC and BCH to a wallet?

How about B2X?

Thanks!

SegWit2X will be supported. Bitcoin Gold seems insiginficant and we will most likely not support it. Please withdraw your BTC.
Hi Support,
Sorry to bother, but can you please confirm that all bets on Trump paid on January 1st will be settled and paid in BTC?
Thanks.

Confirmed.  S2X currently trades at 0.15BTC on bitfinex. So it seems like we will stay in BTC. We will make an official announcement at least 1 week before the S2X fork.

Your announcement might be overdue already then. I hope to hear something in the next 24 hours.

Yeah I really think you should adress the 2x situation now before it's too late. If you are considering to switch over from BTC I'm certain you are shooting yourselves in the leg.. but some companies have already said they'll make the switch so I guess we'll see what happens..

Hello,
Proofs... don't know what can I give? never got withdrawal into my wallet, they have requested kyc, I have sent them all then they have denied saying money laundering/mixing (I was withdrawing without playing) and they have never let me to play for the deposit if this is necessary, just collected my deposit. They have been replying in this topic before about this. For them the case is over - they have collected nice amount and are very OK with that.

Meh.
NOT PAID 1.2BTC FOR OVER 5 MONTHS NOW DO NOT DEPOSIT OR PLAY HERE, no reply from suport, they just want to collect my money, not licensed anywhere, no way to fight with them in court BE CAREFULL, DO NOT PLAY HERE!!!

If you have proof of this it will surely help your case here on the forum at least. Any and all evidence should be brought up when accusations like these are being brought to the table.

You can PM me with them if you'd like and I'll see what I can do..

I made a deposit and it hasn't appeared on my account. I checked the transaction and it should have gone through. There's enough confirmation.

update - NM it finally appeared but took way longer than normal

hey, how long until this market gets settled?

You should have some kind of alerts to know if market is over or not
https://old.fairlay.com/market/chelsea-corners-vs-watford-corners-36/

Please do not use this forum or our email to report wrong or missing settlements.  The only way to report it is via our Public Support channel  on fairlay.com.

Hello Fairlay Support.  I have an issue with a bet that was not graded properly.  How do I contact you to resolve it.  I used an old email address but they said to use the public support channel.  I don't know what that is, unless it is this forum.  Thanks.

Hi ChiefCDS, please note:

Ok, I figured out what that is.  I'll post in there if it isn't fixed soon.

Damn, Fairlay is now charging .5 mBTC or $3 USD to cashout BTC.

That seems a bit steep. What are the real costs out there these days? Have they really gone up that much?
Honestly it is not that much. I have used broker services before to access Betfair, where I was charged 4% for a withdrawal. I let you imagine the amount when I asked for a withdrawal of 2k, I was felt a bit gutted and went somewhere else.

Fairlay is a good service, yes they take a fee but Fairlay works a bit like a broker, offering Pinnacle and taking a small % on the odds, that's fair enough to me.
