Brazil still has a chance to win it's just that it probably won't be as smooth as it was in the cup last month, at least there are some big teams that have great players and are ready to score a win in the 2022 cup match, Rondaldo it's time to enjoy the old days but I sure messi is still able to continue to compete because he is still around 35 and still has enough time to compete again.

This time, it is going to be a tournament that is dominated by 35 plus players. I am not just talking about Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal and Lionel Messi of Argentina. Look at the other teams. Most of the top players are 35+. Kasper Schmeichel of Danmark, Manuel Neuer of Germany and Karim Benzema of France are examples. Even Neymar is in his 30s now. This means two things. Players are retiring late, thanks to better training and fitness regimen, and younger players are finding it more difficult to break in to the top level.
This year's Qatar world cup will be filled with several star players who are over 35 years old and will be their last world cup this year such as Cristiano Ronaldo Lionel Messi Manuel Neuer and also Karim Benzema, although it contains players who are 35+ of course it will make the game even more fierce considering that they will go all out for their respective countries because this is the last tournament for some of the world's star players, while there are also some players who are still 30+ years old, and we also believe in these players that age is only a definite number they can bring out the maximum ability at an age that is no longer young

I don’t think that their age will matter much because these player’s have shown that they can yet perform at the highest level, plus with all the experience behind them they’ll definitely be an asset for their team and help the youngsters settle in too. Lastly I don’t fancy Brazil winning it because I feel that they’ll choke when it’ll matter the most, hence in my personal opinion they won’t be winning the World Cup.

I was watching a piece of news, but I don't know if it's real or maybe not, but it announced that perhaps for the next World Cup qualifiers, South America would expand the World Cup quotas to 6 places, if this is the case it will be very interesting , the curious thing is that it only said South America, for Europe it would also apply.

The next world cup, 2026, will be hosted in Canada, USA, and Mexico. All those 3 will be qualified because they're hosts. Also, there will be extra slots for all the confederations.

The 2026 World Cup will have 48 qualified teams instead of the 32 teams of 2022. So that's going to be an extra 16 teams for the next world cup, selected from all the confederations.

It will be the first time that some confederations will be able to qualify directly instead of having to go to play-offs.

Here's the detailed table with the new spots:

Well, there is no denying that Messi and Dyubala together with DiMaria noodle are not going to disappoint, in fact I hope that there will be a match between Argentina and Portugal, because both Messi and CR7 will seek to obtain the world title, the closest to win was Messi and he was disappointed, if something similar happens, I think Messi will not touch another ball in any team, he could not stand it, he also has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, I think he will have to get a lot of help from his teammates, this World Cup will be very exciting, I hope that all war environment ends and can occur normally.

Both Lionel Messi and Ángel Di María are 34 years old. Cristiano Ronaldo is 37 years old. I don't expect these players to play with the same amount of ferocity they had a few years back. Paulo Dybala is young, but he hasn't caught up with the expectations. I am still hopeful about Argentina making it to the final, but not so sure about Portugal. The latter is essentially a one man army, and in case we have a Argentina vs Portugal match, in all probability it will be during the pre-quarter final or the quarter-final stage.

Well, as a good South American, I emphasize that Messi would be spectacular if he could win this World Cup, but he still needs to have a team that gives him that support, Di María is a very good player, but because he is so skinny he gets tired very quickly and is constantly suffering injuries, Dybala is a footballer on the rise who has had very good experience in European football, I think he is the one who should contribute the most to Messi, on the other hand, you have a reason for CR7, for me the classification of Portugal was very weak In fact, they almost don't go, but eventually when these teams reach the World Cup they tend to grow a lot, almost like Brazil, Brazil usually starts the World Cup with very weak matches, but then they sweep, I don't know if they have strength for the end.

Here are the groups for the World Cup:

The Final will have one team from the top row and one from the bottom row.

This means that the final for the World Cup 2022 can actually be Brazil vs Argentina, both teams have been defeated zero times so far.

That would be an incredible final.

This world cup will be tough and different , the team that can win the cup maybe a team that no one will expect a win from now. I'm not sure if Argentina can win the Cup this time around,  their other tough teams who are very prepared to see they take cup .

yes I agree with you, there are many young talents in other national teams.  and this will be an event that we are very much looking forward to.
speaking of messi, however he deserves attention with the skills he has.  he is a natural and brilliant player i am one of his fans as well as argentina, even though in 2014 messi couldn't bring his country to win at least being runner up is nothing to be ashamed of.  by the way I can't wait for every game of this world cup.
I support two countries Germany and Argentina

For me apart from Germany and Argentina, Brazil is also my favorite but this time I have to admit that Brazil is not in a position to win the worldcup. More sad aspect of this worldcup is that its the last worldcup of Messi and Ronaldo, so we won't see them again.

For the World Cup finale, there are quite a few teams as favourites now. The first teams that come to my mind are Brazil, Argentina, Germany and France for example. One of these four teams can really make it to the championship at the end. I see people talking about Argentina recently but I think Brazil are a slightly better team than them now. I liked Brazil more than Argentina in the qualification round in South America. Brazil have ended up as the leader. Both teams haven't been the champions in the World Cup for long years so it would be nice to see one of them doing it this time.
This is an interesting question and one that came to my mind several possibilities!

Some teams are Germany and maybe even France would have a chance, and lastly, I believe Brazil would have the capacity.
We also have Argentina and even Portugal, but with less chances of being champions of the first countries I mentioned above.

Let's see how each national team will behave during the first stage of this Fifa World Cup!

Yes i totaly agree it seems that these teams are the ones with most chances to succed even if france are not showing a good performance recently they are still one of the favourites i think brazil is better than argentina because first of all there is a difference in the players quality not to mention that some of argentina players are new to the squad and they are still young, its the first time for them to compete in a high level competition, my money is on brazil to win the world cup.

I don't support a country in world cup because of a particular player so what I support is the ability of participating or ability of controlling over the competition like before I love method of Brazil kind of players so that is why whenever it comes for world cup I sincerely by their fans because Brazil has been playing good right from time but I don't know if this time it will be favorable for them the win this current competition
Even if we support any team it's too early to predict the win.
The first few matches will predict what will be World Cup look like. I am not sure - do you think there are matches in the soccer which are fixed as well like in cricket.

I think that neither Germany nor Argentina will play in the final. Germany did poorly at the last World Cup and European Championships. Argentina last played against Germany in the final in 2014. I think this year's final will be different. I remember when Argentina won the Netherlands in the semi finals in 2014, I think that if it happens again this year, the Netherlands will qualify for the finals.

I think those are too strong words, Argentina and Germany are extremely good countries, and they can easily end up in the final.

Both countries have won the tournament more than once, so that alone should be a thing to consider.

On the other hand, you never know, former champion Italy didn't even qualify!

Well Argentina has Messi that really wants to win the world cup and have all trophies possible in the world. But i think their team isnt good enough to reach even the semis ,while Germany has an amazing mentality and they are always one of the favorites to win the title
There is too much hype surrounding Messi. Other national teams also have many good players who also want the trophy. To be honest I've never understood why Messi is worthy of all the awards he's earned. Yes, he's a good player, but I think he gets too much attention. He alone can't take his team to the finals like he already did in 2014. There are so many strong opponents now.

Yeah, Argentina need more than just Messi to become world champions. Argentina might win Copa America but, European teams and the world cup is a different beast altogether. Argentina have a tough group to begin with. With Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia. So does Brazil, with Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon. Should be a fun World Cup to watch from the group stages itself.

Gone are the days that Messi uses his influence to win world cup for Argentina,  those time their were other strong players who were in Argentina to back Lionel messi. Messi is a good player but he can't be very active like some years back because of age and Argentina is not also tough as before.

I will be wondering about what Brazil and Argentina will do the most in the World Cup. Because it has been a long time since we last saw a South American team becoming the champions in this tournament. It has been a much longer time for Argentina too. They both have seemed really solid so far. The performances they have shown in the qualifiers impressed me. They are going to have a much more difficult tournament process this time and let's see if one of them will make it. If I'm to choose one of them I guess I'd choose Brazil for the title.

The top teams in South America remain Brazil and Argentina. Brazil is the only team unbeaten in the South America zone of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying matches, while Copa America champions Argentina have the longest unbeaten streak in international football with 33 games.
After not winning the World Cup since 2002, Brazil is under pressure to deal with problems, obligations, positional pressures, and public demands.
Brazil and Argentina will compete against European football's top teams at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, thus the contest will be intense. While England, Belgium, Spain, and Germany are among the favorites for victory, France will prove to be a formidable opponent.

I totally agree with you. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is one of its most likely to be Brazil and. Considering the current form of Brazil and Argentina, it can be seen that Brazil and Argentina have occupied the top spot. And their current team combination is much better.
You are right. But Hungary is in a better format than Argentina and Brazil. They can turn the game around at any time. I'm not saying I support Hungary. But after watching the last few games, I understood. On the other hand, Argentina did not lose in the last 30 matches. Brazil has put Argentina at the top of the World Cup in Qatar. They think Argentina is the contender for this year's World Cup.
