Last nite i had some wild dream with a space/sky centered world, not helio or geo centered.
A stationary "cylinder" with the sun completing one rotation a day and oscillate once a year between Tropic of Capricorn / Cancer.
Moon finishes the rotation in a lunar circle (28 days) and is illuminated from the sun, same as stars.
When sun a furthermost south 24h day light at south pole station, when all the way north at tropic of cancer no sun light at south pole as outside of visible range and at pass-over it is day light when nearest of station and nite when furthest away (out of visible range).
South to North is totally flat and East to West some curve, the more latitudinal the flatter.  "Dome" straight above wherever you are.
Sun rise is about greenland, mid day is about in middle east and sunset, eastern Australia.
First pic x axis is tilted to -90° and y turned 160°, second without (space, sun, moon)  x -70° and y the same.

Past north or south, no idea map missing.
Time to open another bottle of red now, cheers.

Edit:
Another view, this North to South noon about Nepal

How as an individual can I know if the Earth is a sphere or a flat disc? What experiment can I do that doesn't involve trusting information from a 3rd party that would prove what the geometry really is?

Currently, the followers of the theory of the flat Earth are more and more numerous Smiley

^^^ The plot thickens...

The moon is still an object, a holographic one with a location, it has length, width and height. The atmospheric plane that contains the plasma used to display the moon is a gaseous fluid, a liquid crystal.

Why did god make a holographic moon?

"And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also." -- Genesis 1:16, KJV

To the moon!

But you claimed there is no moon in the flat Mars thread.

@Cnut237,

The moon is a 32 mile wide disc of sonoluminescent electrical plasma in an upper atmospheric plane.

The image of the moon is reflected off of a concave mirror creating a projected hologram. The mirror is a golden glass-like oxide layer on a nickel-iron composite steel dome that covers the earth; the firmament.

^^^ How is the hand large and far away, there's no vertical compression? There's also no refraction, the focus is too sharp for a loomed hand.

fail.

^^^ You lack perspective.

But your perspective is skewed.

The line is the horizon.
The hand is far away.
The cows on the grass are small.

Maybe the hand with the cow in it is simply a plasma projections on a screen.

@HI-TEC99,

   Do better, I only need to identify two objects to fail the globe i.e. the horizon and a landmark of known distance. Image distortion including but not limited to severe distortion, artifacting and partial obfuscation are irreverent so long as a positive identification can be made.

You've got miniature spherical cows.

For the last time, the cows in the hand are small, but the cows eating grass are far away.

Interesting now the BBC shows topographic map of Antarctic in line with this one only from globe view point.
https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-50753113

Mount Vinson is the highest peak in Antarctica, at 4,892 metres (16,050 ft)
Dome Argus  elevation of 13000 feet
Lake Vostok, "warm"  fresh water lake (38 °Fahrenheit  / 3 ° Celsius)
Queen Alexandra Range and Queen Elizabeth Range.......

@HI-TEC99,

   Can you do better than 120x optical zoom that you can hold in one hand for under $1k? How many units can you produce and for what price? The game is super-zoom, can you play? Nikon is selling a first gen product in a space with zero competition.

Also Nikon seems willing to remove the infrared filter if you send it in, expect to pay for that as it's too small to DIY.

Quick question, if I'm observing a horizon at 50 miles with a modded P1000 at an elevation of 1 foot, how big is the ball?

Welcome to 50x super-earth, that 50x gravity is just crushing isn't it?
