Romelu Lukaku's return to fc chelsea is now perfect - yesterday's supercup winners pay €115 million to inter milan Cool

Well, Inter still needs to pay 55€ to Manchester so Cheesy not so a good deal for Inter.

They sold him and they will probably replace him with Dzeko who is currently 35 years old.

I'd still say it was a great deal because they shouldn't have included a sell-on bonus, if that's what it was when the purchase his services from Man Utd, perhaps they didn't foresee selling for that much later on, and however, I'd think Man Utd would have gotten a share of sale's fee regardless of the amount he's going for.

I have until tomorrow to decide my FPL team, and I want to be very sure if he'll be available for the opening game, I don't wanna mess with my squad this early 🤥

Romelu Lukaku is officially a Chelsea player from now on. As far as I know, they signed him for €115m. Chelsea sold him to Everton for €35m seven years ago. Now they have bought him for this amount. They must be not only happy but also sad because of this.  Grin  If they didn't sell him for a very little amount, maybe Lukaku would still develop this much and be a top striker like now. Then, the other teams would line up to sign him.

You may also wonder how serious Messi's grief is that he has to leave the club. Last year he had already made the decision to leave the club, and at the last minute it fell through. If you really love your club so much, why would he want to leave last year? I think it's a stage. with Crocodil tears.
Next day he was cheering in paris Smiley
its not a crocodile tears, you don't know how it feels to have a standing ovation by the people you loved knowing fully well that you will depart from them soon, are you expecting him to cry at Paris?, I think Messi is not ready to leave, but since they can't meet up with his demands he has to move on

That is absolutely crazy, replacing Lukaku with Dzeko, tbh, I don't see Inter making the top in the Italian Seria A this season, even if they are in any financial crisis of any sort, I think the club still needs to put in a little effort and do more, they can't lose everyone, including their manager and replace them with low quality players, that is not fair to the fans, they would go from being champions to have a terrible season the following campaign, and then, I still expect more good players to leave, they would have to go, so they'll enjoy their football elsewhere.

Pretty crazy to see Messi leave Barcelona.  I have quite a few buddies who are Barcelona fans, and they of course are none to pleased with what transpired with that whole thing.  I am also just referring to people whom are in the United States, I can't imagine being a lifelong Barcelona fan who lives in Spain..this must be absolutely heartbreaking.  I'm curious to ask for you Euros who follow the sport very closely, where do you guys put Messi in term of the all time greats?
Disappointed when Messi left Barcelona and play for PSG because I am Real Madrid fans need haters for my club and always debate both Barcelona or Real Madrid get bad result, but now the popularity or Barcelona fans have move and change their club to be PSG fans and not any interested yet to debate.
I understand what you said but I was expecting the Real Madrid fans to be happy about the exit of Messi since he posed the major threat to Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, etc and I am a lot of Real Madrid fans won't support what you said about not being happy of Messi leaving Barcelona.
The best thing Barcelona can do now is to find a player that will perform well in the postion left by Messi.
There are no and will be no players like Messi. At best, a few decades. I don't think RM fans are so happy with the player's departure from Barcelona, because mostly over the past few seasons he has been characterised by goals against weak teams (hatafi, betis...). In El classico, Ronaldo and Messi weren't very productive, but it was always interesting to follow the game..

two more transfer speculations, in which this time 2 bundesliga clubs are involved...
Alexander Sørloth is most likely to leave rb leipzig for france and equadorian international Piero Hincapié is close to signing with bayer 04 leverkusen.

Quote
A transfer thus far has been difficult as the player wanted to stay in Leipzig. Another problem has been the reluctance of interested clubs to meet RB's transfer demands. That appears to have changed. Olympique Marseille have now emerged as a candidate to sign Sørloth. The Norwegian outlet Nettavisen wrote that the Ligue 1 club is interested in the striker and has already contacted the Sørloth camp.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/sorloth-dad-leipzig-departure-in-the-summer-quot-150-certain-quot-marseille-interested-/view/news/390957

Quote
Hincapié was one of the big winners of Copa América market value update. The 19-year-old Ecuadorian national team player saw his market value grow from €5 million to €8 million. Not surprisingly, the defender has caught the attention of several European clubs and Transfermarkt can now confirm a report by César Luis Merlo that Hincapié is on the verge of joining Die Werkself.

I also saw a lot of news about this. Mbappe is not happy for Messi to come to PSG. But I do not understand why he is not happy. We all knew Ramos was Messi's enemy. Ramos has no problem befriending Messi, but it's seem Mbappe is not interested in building a friendly relationship. This is good news for Madrid if Mbappe goes to Real Madrid. Barcelona is not very strong now, Real Madrid may be able to win the title.
Ramos offered a house for Messi to stay on it if he doesn't want to stay at the hotel, nice and unexpected move Wink
For Mbappe, he is trying to prove him and shine, be named the "savior" and the hero of the club. I am not criticising him and I am exaggerating a bit of course but he has the right to looked at as Dortmund's fans looks to Haaland. In PSG he is kind of stuck with the level of Ligue 1 gameplay but with Real Madrid, everyone will count on him, maybe more than Benzema and of course we all know how Real Madrid is rated and what's mean being their best player. I still prefer to see him playing with PSG this season.

You're right, if Mbappe goes to Real Madrid, the team will probably become much more dependent on him. But has Mbappe been experienced enough at the moment? That he will be able to take charge of the entire club? Big clubs like Real Madrid definitely need experienced players. Mbappe is a very talented and extraordinary player. But he still lacks experience. We have seen how he has performed for France in the Euros. Benjama has played much better than him.

I believe Mbappe's long-term prospects are superior to Benjama's. However, what exactly is going through the mind of PSG? Do they really want Mbappe to leave their club? Definitely not. Still, it would be great if it happened. I just pray that it happens. PSG is interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo, but the deal is contingent on the departure of Kylian Mbappe.

The second €100 million transfer of the summer is completed. Star striker Romelu Lukaku is leaving Italian champions Inter Milan to join Champions League winners Chelsea. According to media reports, €115 million will be due for the 28-year-old Belgian – only Jack Grealish, who had joined Manchester City for €117.5 million, was even more expensive in the current transfer window.

Mbappe has already taken part in all tournaments that can be imagined and he has many achievements and titles (by the way, he is the world champion if you didn't know). He is ready to move to Real Madrid, and tell me, can Mbappe, being in PSG and the weak French championship, really progress and gain some new experience? I'm sure not.

I am not sure with Mbappe will go to Real Madrid because management want to get free for Mbappe without pay transfer, looks how serious real madrid management to get mbappe right now, sure mbappe want to play for Real Madrid but madrid management not any ask for PSG to get Mbappe, how ever when Messi coming to PSG make Mbappe will stay one year for PSG before his contract expired.

Not sure what you are trying to say here^^ but I only got that you are saying Mbappe will not go to Real Madrid. I think there is nothing for sure in this Mbappe drama. Right now there is one year left in his contract and as the things stand he is not renewing his contract as the reports were before Messi to PSG was confirmed. In Messi's press conference when asked from PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi about Mbappe's situation, he said that Mbappe wanted a competitive one and now they have one with all the latest signings so he has no excuse. I think PSG are trying hard for Mbappe to extend his contract but right now Mbappe is not interested. Let's see if he changes his mind. It's possible that he can go to Madrid or stay at PSG but at the moment anything can happen.

Well regarding Haaland I think he is an exceptional player, but come on Mbape, Messi, Neymar Jr these players are only in 1 team and playing together is something else! I am also anxious to see the first game that I will support Messi, since I did not support him in Barcelona, because I love Real Madrid, but now that he is at PSG everything changes, and having those players there is another level, the The only thing missing is CR7 who would like to see him play with Messi's teammate one day.

However, things are going well for Messi, because PSG will give him a few tokens, this is very good, he is not only accompanied by a large number of fans who were for Barcelona just for Messi, the money is also giving him another incentive to Messi.

Mbappe thinks the arrival of Messi might not make him to shine and cast out his star, being a potential ballon'dor candidate, in the last two seasons his performances outweigh that of Neymar Jr, the spotlight and attention will be more on Messi, I respect his decision to leave PSG to join Real Madrid unfortunately he still have a year in his contract, so it is either PSG sell him now or he leaves on a free transfer next season and he had not sign a contract extension with PSG, although I will like to watch the trio of Mbappe, Neymar and Messi playing together as it is now that might not be realistic.
I also would love to see them playing together , and what they are doing and playing when Mbappe, Neymar and Messi have good days.
Have seen also some reports from sky that Mbappe is not happy about that Messi is now in PSG.
There are also rumors if Mbappe will leave that they then try to get Ronaldo , but i guess Mbappe will fulfill his contract this season,
As it is possible with this Team now that they can win all.

In my opinion, before Messi came to PSG, Mbappe had refused a contract extension given by PSG. This means that Mbappe is no longer happy
at PSG, I am confused about the real reason Mbappe doesn't want to extend the contract. Now indeed, I find a lot of news that says Messi's
arrival makes Mbappe unhappy, I don't know if the news is real or fake. But if the news is real, it's Real Madrid's chance to try to convince PSG
to let MBappe go this year.

Arsenal's hopes were dealt a major blow in the summer transfer window, when he failed to secure the signing of one of his goals, according to English press reports. Arsenal was aiming to sign a new goalkeeper, in anticipation of the possibility of German Bernd Leno in the future, but his desire hit a difficult barrier.

The Sun newspaper reported that Arsenal had halted its bid to sign England international goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, due to Sheffield United's exaggerated financial demands. And the newspaper added, that a meeting took place between the two clubs on Wednesday evening, during which no agreement was reached, with Sheffield United insisting on 35 million pounds in return for completing the deal.
