Remember football is for people according to Ceferin.
The football where only PSG can buy players over the Financial Fair Play.

PSG are so lucky, with a lot of money but they managed to bring in important players for free in the transfer market this season. Now they have a squad that should be very convincing to finish as UCL champions and league 1. Of course having Messi will makes formation of PSG players more stronger to make this happen, also with the goalkeeper position that managed to players who make Italy achieve a perfect victory at EURO, Donnarumma. I think now people will make PSG the favorite.
You Right bro, the arrival of messi will certainly make PSG's front line quite dangerous next season, and it is reported that messi will wear number 30 at PSG later, although PSG have not officially announced messi as a new player but reportedly Lionel Messi will be introduced as a PSG player on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Stade Parc des Prince, Do you think with the arrival of Messi, PSG will release Mbappe to Madrid?

Finally, the whole drama has eventually come to an anticipated end... I wish Messi all the very best in his newest adventure. It's really going to be weird seeing him play alongside Sergio Ramos but, I guess the long lasting enmity between the duo is nothing personal and just limited to the pitch ?

It will be very interesting to see how this plays with PSG's financial situation, especially with the fact that they're planning to renew mbappe's contract, I'm curious to see how they'll be able to keep all three players and remain with the FFP rules.

If I'm not mistaken, 5 years ago, the compensation for Messi was in the region of $ 200 million, plus the obligation to pay a larger salary. Now they got it for free as the contract between Messi and Barcelona has expired. It's a bargain even if Messi doesn't play well - in essence they are buying a name for their club, which is struggling to become legendary.
Messi's PSG shirt anyone?
Assuming PSG will convince Messi to sign the deal in the next hours, then they are not only lucky to get him for free but also will get incomes from other sources.
I am pretty sure Messi will not take a long time to adapt to Ligue 1 but he has to cooperate with his teammate at a high level to win CL this season. There is no excuse for them.

Grin It might sound offensive, but I see the French league as "light training" if you play for a top club (which is what PSG is). Accordingly, it is difficult to talk about adaptation and any problems in such conditions. As for the Champions League, PSG doesn't really need Messi to win it (in fact, he's an average player now, but not a star) just a little bit of luck.

Messi is almost in and it is funny to see him playing with Ramos indeed Tongue

It is definitely and right now lot of supporters are waiting outside Paris airport. Reports are that there he will arrive in 30-40 minutes but yeah things are now all confirmed. Just matter of official confirmations and that's it. But wow, never thought out of all Messi would be playing alongside Ramos lol. Right now I am waiting for pic or video of Ramos and Messi shaking hands more than Messi arriving at Paris.  Cheesy
Tick Tock time is passing. There is no way to wait any longer for this huge meeting. This is gonna be so beautiful, from rivals to team mates. Ramos is going to shake hands with Messi. Is this meeting going to be more attractive than signing the contract? Let's wait and see how everything turns out.

I'm not sure what to make of these transfers from PSG. It's quite clear that Ramos and Messi are absolute world class players who have dominated football for the last 15 years. But now they are both well over 30 (Ramos 35 and Messi 34) and have passed their peak. This is also the reason why the English clubs, who could afford the salaries because of the high TV revenues, have never really considered signing Ramos and Messi. It seems that PSG is not interested in having the strongest and most homogeneous team possible, but in getting into the media with big, prestigious names, even if these big names only come to earn a lot of money.

Werner and Lukaku competing for the same position or will they play together? Chelsea have many great players and I can see Lukaku if a deal is reached will replace Werner. Werner is caught offside to many times to be their main man but he has potential he just is not reaching it at Chelsea.
They will rotate at some point depending on what the coach wants but Werner play most of the game as a winger last season, he is more dangerous on the wing, his pace and movement off the ball help the team a lot last season, Lukaku is a natural-born CF player while Wener is more of ST player, two different players, two different roles.

Werner. Lukaku. Pulisic

Pulisic. Lukaku. CHO

Werner. Lukaku. Ziyech

Pulisic. Lukaku. Ziyech.

Chelsea attacking options

My favorite tandem are Werner. Lukaku. Ziyech as trio for Chelsea but look less possibility because Thomas Tuchel dislike like Hakim Ziyech and he will prefer choose Kai Harvard. But any possibility for Ziyech if keep stay with good performance and created many assits for Lukaku I think that trio keep become periority for Chelsea in this season.

I think that the formation that is carried out by Thomas Tuchel is the same as last season with a 3-4-3 formation and I am very sure that Thomas Tuchel will prefer Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, Mason Mount in the attack line of the London squad, because we know that Tuchel often play their three strikers like last season. and if judge ziyech is still staying for Chelsea next season I'm very sure he will remain a second tier player if he intends to stay at the west London club

Some sources claim that Roma are really close to signing 23-year-old Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham. As Inter are interested in signing Dzeko, Roma are searching for a good striker. And it seems like the best candidate is Abraham now. Abraham is a promising striker and he would be useful for the team for a long time.

The Lukaku to Chelsea is a done deal he will travel to London tomorrow for an official announcement and unveiling as new Chelsea striker, the Messi to Chelsea deal was never going to happen that's just fact. Neymar is the reason Messi is going to PSG

But there were reports that Abramowitch is at least in talks with Messi and his father. I agree that the chance is possibly close to zero, but would you say there is absolutely no chance he might go to Chelsea? It would be a surprise, but at the same time it would be a nice surprise in my eyes.
Those were media speculations there was no direct contact with his agent or his father, free agents come with a huge price and salary, Messi is a dream player for every team but then his salaries was something only PSG could afford without going bankrupt and for the latest update, Messi will fly to Paris to undergo medical as a PSG player tomorrow and will wear the No. 19 Jersey. Chelsea priority now is Kounde from Sevilla.

I am quite sure that all the big bosses knocked on Messi's door, including Abramowtich. Whether that ended up in serious talks or not is another story, but I can definitely imagine that Abramowitch considered signing Messi. Tuchel probably wouldn't be against it! Tongue

All clubs who listen to Messi's name will definitely be interested in signing him, especially since Messi has already terminated his contract with Barcelona, but with the depth of the Chelsea squad that we currently have, I'm still very sure that Chelsea are not targeting Messi or them this season, considering Thomas Tuchel already has a capable squad to compete in the English league this season

With Lukaku now yes, but the media report claimed that Messi could have been a "back-up" plan if the Lukaku deal fails. Considering how much Chelsea now paid for Lukaku, they could probably have been able to also meet Messi's financial requirements taking into account that there was no transfer fee necessary.

Many rumors circulating, Chelsea, Man City are very interested in Messi. But today it seems that all has been answered. Congratulations PSG you got the best player, for 21 years got 35 titles.

Of course it won't be like in El Clasico. They have gathered in one house to work and earn money they should be professionals. Of course they are players who can relate well.

I am sorry but how are we going to have competitive leagues if teams like PSG can continue to buy whoever they want for whatever amount of money they can throw at players? They have spent over 100 million in transfers and with the signing of Messi it is said that he will earn 35 million per year. How is this fair to teams like Lyon?
Even though PSG have abundant finances and can buy whoever they want, they still can't buy champions league, because with them buying great players and expensive players, not necessarily they can hold the champions league cup next year, I prefer liferpol club, although not buying great players, but able to lift prestigious trophies..
No I think you can buy success and that is why the winners of the champions league in the last decade have all been rich clubs. The Premier League had a surprise winner of Leciester City a couple of years ago you never see that in the french league or the champions league. It is always the rich teams that win. If PSG do not win the champions league this season something is wrong with the team behind the team because they have changed managers and they have the best team in the world who are all proven champions league winners.

PSG remains the only club in direct contact with Messi's lawyer and his father for the past three days now, contract and personal terms agreed it is just a matter of time then Messi will fly to Paris for medical. A win win situation to every team in ligue 1, Messi and Ramos will become teammates  Grin

Roma Agree £34m Deal To Sign Tammy Abraham
According to this  report Roma is trying to replace Edin Dzeko if he leaves for Inter,  it is now left for him(Tammy) to decide if will leave or stay, I believe he will have a limited playing time if stays with the arrival of Lukaku, meanwhile Chelsea is not ready to sell him to a rival EPL club having been eyed by Arsenal.
Mourinho will make him a better striker if he accepted the offer, I hope he would not be bought back with a huge amount of money just like Salah and Lukaku in the nearest future.
So Lukaku to Chelsea (almost done), Inter will try to get Dzeko from Roma and Mourinho will try to sign Tammy Abraham. A sign-chain! Tammy should accept this and move out from Chelsea in order to improve. With Lukaku as a main player on the offensive line, he will get less time to play and/or prove himself.

Are PSG didn't violate FFP (Financial Fair Play) rules? I hear the rumors the salary is between 35 M Euro, which may be enough to break the FFP rules, when PSG continues it, who will be the victim?. Mbappe? for 34 old players they dispose of for 22 old players, that's a bold step I ever heard. I won't do that, No other way, Messi should reduce his salary and going to Italy, join Milan which welcome to old man's, Ronaldo is waiting for him.

they PSG seem untouchable by the law. it is not clear to anyone how they do this without committing an offence, plus they are in a much poorer league than Premier, Primera, Bundes...
I think they are slowly crossing that line and will have more of those who really hate them than real fans.

I still cannot say for sure. Yes the PSG contract is on the table and yes there are many there for sure now personally messaging Messi so the attraction is too great,,, But Messi is also a true professional who wants to win more. Money he can make. Trophies he cannot buy. He already finally won Copa and he personally said he wants to win UCL again.

City seems like the better option to prove himself in the toughest league in the world.

He is already proven, even to end his career right now. About his professionalism vs. money, I am not sure what is here more important for them. He takes the best contract which he can get and will play in an incompetent league. now he will break records, scoring many goals against poor teams.
