I am a bit confused, why my activity is stuck at 58 ? When will it hit 60 ?

As been mentioned several times all over this forum you can only get 14 points every fortnight so its not stuck.

Avatars were disabled and probably won't be coming back until the new forum software.

Sorry if this has been already asked but i didn't find much.

Regarding the "activity"
Quote
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)/
Now i do understand time, but how to solve this: "min(time * 14, posts)" ? What does "min" mean? And what does the comma mean?

I'd also like to put an avatar but i can't change that option, are avatars limited to some rank or?

Why do you mark someone as a scammer, why not just ban him? He'll learn for the next time.

They don't mark people as SCAMMERs anymore, nor do they ban them for being one. They can always just make another account and repeat the process again anyway.

Well yeah but still... something maybe could be done about it and I still think banning or even trying ip ban, forbid the using of TOR for browsing this forum.

I think it would be unfair to everyone who uses TOR legitimately to browse this forum if they banned it. IP bans are sometimes used, but scammers will always find a way to come back using a VPN or something, so it's ultimately futile really..

Hello everybody Smiley
i am new member in this forum,
i didn't understand how to calculate activity:

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

could u please give me an example Huh, and is there a limit to activity in a defined period, and what way can i gain activity other than posting.
thanks

You can only gain a max of 14 activity points every two week period. You can't get any more than that until the next period which will start on the 13th.

Have a read over this thread for a better idea: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-definitive-explanation-of-how-activity-works-495948

May I know how long it takes for the forum rank to change from member to full member after touching 120 activity ?

It updates every thirty minutes as far as I'm aware, so very soon.

Oh thanx... it seems it has changed.

10 BTC to become a recognised donor is pretty stiff at today's Bitcoin price...

Over 15% of the annual household income in the US - extremely stiff. I considered donating until I saw what they consider a reasonable minimum donation.

The VIP level they have set just proves neglect. If I donate $35,000 a half purple coin under my name isn't going to cut it - they better be curing cancer.

I'm guessing that was set when a BTC was worth $1.  Maybe that should be updated to add to activity.  $1 per 1 Activity Point?
No Theymos not going to change any thing here he already announce this few days back about this
