Does anyone know where the explanation of the time between posts is? Does it go down each time you get more activity or just with each membergroup?

Might be a silly question but if the activity is calculated in 14 folds, how can it be that  someone has 18 (like me) or 112.

I am registered since March 24th, and there is no 2-week period in which i didn't post, if I calculate it right my acitvity should be around 32, which is the total number of days since my registration. How come its almost half of it?

Activity is calculated as a minimum of two values. i.e. a number of 2 week periods (multiplied by 14) you've been registered and a number of posts you've made... Cool

What does this mean exactly? I have registered on the 9th of december, that makes it today a total of 10x 2weeks. So 10x14=140 which is my current activity, but how do the posts effect it? Or is it just that in case you haven't made a single post in one 2 week interval, you won't receive a higher activity for those 2 weeks?

So the amount of posts don't really matter when it comes to activity?

Your activity comes to depend on the number of your posts if you post rarely. Then yes, if you haven't made a single post in the said interval, your activity won't increase. Actually, there are many users here which had registered years ago, but since they have been lurking, their activity is low... Cool

Hi,
Sorry for the silly question, but i am wondering what is the main factor and is there a formula of the activity of a member. For example now i have 196 activity and 460 posts how i can increase my activity?
BR,
Gondel

You activity is increased automatically every 2 weeks, i.e. you can't push it up manually... Cool

I notice the main post has switched from the original requirements. I saw a few people with 400-440 and noticed they were senior. Why does it keep rising? It was originally set at 400, then it seems to keep rising, now we are at 480 before Hero?

To enter a new level (as I got it), your activity should be multiplied by a factor of 2, i.e. 60x2=120 for Full Members, 120x2=240 for Seniors, and 240x2=480 for Heroes... Cool

I suspect that there is something fundementally flawed in the activity calculation since new people can rise rapidly to hero status and people who have been here almost a year are stuck with Sr. status. Huh

There's something fundamentally flawed in your understanding of it. You can only get a max activity of 14 per two week period, so newer members will only rise faster if they've posted in all those those periods and you haven't.

so then, no account newer than 68 weeks should have 5 coins? Tongue

EDIT: looking at the membersip list i see where i was confused. now my question is, "Where have all the Heroes gone?"

Less seem to be posting here because the noise has gone up so much.

no, i meant that i could not find them in that list where i expected them to be. They appear when the list is sorted by other parameters.
