Bayer Munich's strength has been good in the UCL even when they were underperforming in their league they never lost a game in the UCL till they move out of the group stage. Comparing the strength of Bayern and PSG in the UCL, I think PSG will be more focused to beat Bayern Munich to progress to the next stage because they will try to revenge the defeat they got against Bayern Munich in 2020 and with the current attacking squad in the team Messi, Neymar Mbappe(MNM) defeating Bayern Munich matters more to the team and they have the advantage of getting a good result with the presence of Messi who I think have a very good experience when it comes to the UCL and facing a big opponent like Munich.

I don't know which team will win, but PSG's attack is a hundred times better than Bayern Munich's attack. Messi and Neymar and Mbappe no one can imagine what kind of attacking they can do. However, PSG have some defensive problems that make it very difficult to win matches. But hopefully we will enjoy the match.

First of all, I'm also one of the people who are quite aware of Lens' capability so far. They have seemed so far like they want to repeat Lille's success themselves this time. They are moving on dedicatedly to stay in the title competition and hope for PSG to lose their concentration for some time to take advantage of it.

However this would be a very optimistic thinking for Lens I'm afraid. Because it is really difficult to stop this much consistent PSG this season. PSG will still have a lot of time for their Champions League matches after the World Cup ends. In this time period, PSG are going to have eight matches in the Ligue 1. I believe PSG would focus on winning every single one of them to secure their lead even more. I don't think Lens can manage to be as consistent as that then. If they do so then I'd start being more serious about their chance.

At this time, Munich's strength is better a little bit. I guess Munich can win by 2-0 if they face PSG. The experience of Munich players is more if they compete in the UCL.
Indeed PSG continue to try to break the UCL's string of poor results. Since the arrival of Neymar, Mbappe and Messi they have always failed to win. In 2020 they made it to Final but lost to Munich.  It seems like they've always been unlucky at UCL.

PSG will have to see how Messi comes back after World Cup as they need his best. This season, Messi becomes more important for PSG as we saw that in matches without Messi, PSG attacking system is very boring and has less powerful attack.

It will be interesting to see how PSG play after (hopefully) they are sent home from the Champions League by Bayern. For many PSG players (Mbappe, for example), this will be a severe psychological blow and, in fact, the end of the season. The paradox is that there will be many games ahead in Ligue 1 and maybe PSG will perform much worse in this scenario. It is hard to believe that any of the opponents will be able to take advantage of this opportunity, but in theory why not.

I agree with you that Messi still has an attitude that I think should be discarded immediately. For example when the team is behind him, he always displays facial expressions that don't build enthusiasm for other players, that's what I think distinguishes him from Ronaldo. He should be able to motivate his team-mates more when he loses and if he can do so I'm sure he can inspire other players.

This season, Messi has performed well compared to Ronaldo. he has always been a determining factor in SPG's victory, even though he didn't always score. his contribution as a playmaker has made SPG too strong for their opponents in Ligue 1. he is a smart player, even though he is no longer young. however, the talent he had did not disappear. currently all leagues have stopped due to the world cup break, and I hope Messi will give his best game with Argentina in the world cup championship later.

after the world cup was over, the last 16 of the champions league started again. and PSG will meet equally strong opponents, it will not be easy for PSG to overthrow Bayern Munich even though PSG has the advantage of playing as the home team in the first leg. Messi is individually doing better than Ronaldo in their respective clubs this season. And by January I think Messi will still do better because Ronaldo has on his own put his career in Manchester United in jeopardy which means he will either have to officially apologize to the club to remain by January or to find another team he would join.
No matter the form of these two great players whenever they are in international football I always believe Portugal to be ahead of Argentina even if it doesn't happen often. For this WC I look upto Portugal to perform better than Argentina.

To be honest, I'm not that interested in the French league (Ligue 1) because what we know is that PSG will always be a club that has been confirmed as a champion in the League (Ligue 1), even though several clubs (Ligue 1) have the ability to surpass PSG but when PSG bring in several of his star players last year, it made it difficult for all clubs to face PSG, because since Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi and Lionel Messi, were brought in by PSG to make the defense even stronger and sharper for PSG's attackers and defense, this is what creates a silhouette for all Clubs (Ligue 1) to balance PSG's game, only outside clubs can balance PSG's pattern of play, because of the several matches that brought PSG together with Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League, in my opinion this is a comparable opponent for PSG to face rather than the team team (Ligue 1), not intending to belittle the club (Ligue 1), but seeing the reality in the current standings, it is proof, this imbalance in (Ligue 1)..

Messi has been in good form this season. He is not only scoring goals, but is also able to provide a lot of assists. Messi's contribution in every match of PSG is outstanding. So everyone is expecting that Messi will be able to reach the World Cup for the first time.

I think that here the author tries to show what should be done, but the cases are totally very different.

Even now I think that LOSC won the championship a few seasons ago and this was just luck for LOSC who played well after that but still dominated again as usual.
The initial rivalry was fair enough but neither club ultimately became consistent all the way to the end. This season I expected a lot from Marseille at the start but they have had an inconsistency at the start of the season which has left them far behind now.

PSG for Ligue 1 regardless of their focus or not the result will be the same. It's not too surprising if they rule out Ligue 1, especially since their main focus is still the Champions League which will obviously have a big game later.
Actually I expected more in the group stage but it's a shame they weren't so lucky because they had to finish as runners up and now have to face Bayern who obviously are a big club from another farmers' league.
Now it's just a matter of seeing whether they can or are only able to dominate in Ligue 1 like last season.

They don't even have to focus on Ligue 1 anymore. The only thing they should care about now is Bayern Munich, because if they win that game they will keep on facing great teams and first it's quarter finals then semi finals and then final and that will be a big deal but none of that matters for Ligue 1 because they are really great at ligue 1 and there is no other team in the league right now that could fight against them to win the title.

Not only they are good, they also dominate, meaning they don't "barely win" games, they win like with 4-5 goal differences when they are on their day. Which is why they are really good and would only care about UCL at this point.

That can happen this season, they will win the Ligue 1 title that is for sure, i do not feel there is a team that can stop them from winning that one, with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe playing so good, what brings competition in a league is how strong the other clubs are, and no other club in the Ligue 1 is close to being as strong as psg, so they are surely going to win that one. The one i am not sure about is the champions league title, they have a real battle in the round of 16 versus bayern munich, if they win bayern they may get to the final, when a club succeeds against a very tough opponent it helps them to play better as they go on, so if psg manage to beat bayern, they may make it to the champions league final and win it, but winning bayern is not easy to do.

I agree with you. PSG's focus is not Ligue 1 right now. They are now fully focused on the Champions League. However, there is no reason to think that they will perform poorly in Ligue 1 matches. Ligue 1 teams are weaker than PSG. So even if PSG put in a bit of a poor performance, they won't lose the top spot in the points table. It wouldn't be surprising if PSG won both the Champions League and Ligue 1 titles.

There is no club in Ligue 1 that can compete with PSG. However, there are several renowned clubs in Ligue 1 such as Lille, Lyon and Marseille. And the performance of these clubs is quite good. I'd say if they get big funds and are able to get the players they want, they can compete with PSG for the title. But PSG cannot win the title if they do not perform well. Also losing the truck after the World Cup will make it difficult for PSG to win the title. Because second place Lens is only 5 points behind PSG. If PSG loses two matches, Lens is ready to take over the top spot in the table.

No team has yet built themselves up to beat PSG in Ligue 1. PSG is the best team in League 1, they have the best players in their team, they are capable of scoring goals past the defenses of any team in League 1.
