Their performance against Lorient today was really lovely. Especially the first half was very impressive for them. Lorient tried to balance the game in the second half but Marseille still managed to score two more goals and finished them off by 3-1.
This wasn't a very easy game for them normally because Lorient are one of the decent teams of the season now. After stealing a point from Monaco, Marseille needed to be careful. They really did it and just played their usual game.
Marseille has shown extraordinary achievements this season. I think Marseille won absolutely in the match against Lorient, with 68% ball possession it was very difficult for Lorient to take chances from Marseille. Currently Marseille is in 3rd place in the standings and only 2 points away from Lens, while Lorient they have failed to overtake Monaco in 6th place in the standings. PSG has odds @1.52 this is much better than their previous match and i don't expect PSG will able to win with big scores anymore because apparently PSG didn't too care about final scores because as long as they can earn 3 points probably that's enough for them moreover Rennes isn't weak team although lately they were showed unstable performance but i still counted them as tough team on Ligue 1 and indeed without doubt PSG will be the winner of this match but probably will not with huge scores and the options PSG win still the safest bets for this match and with the odds i mentioned above i think it deserved to try
I'm pretty optimistic. PSG will score at least two goals in this match, even though they are playing as an away team. the reason is, Galtier will install their starting line-up of their core players. with the return of Mbappe, Neymar and Messi, the home team is no match for a side of PSG's level. As for the odds that PSG has @ 1.52, it is very reasonable because if you refer to the last meeting between these two teams, PSG was only able to score one goal, and even then the goal was scored in 90+ minutes.
Even though Rennes is actually not a weak team, to match PSG's game is not an easy matter for them. Even though Rennes has a target of getting points because of their position in the standings, they are in danger of being overtaken, but it is not easy for Rennes to get points even though this is a home match for them. Troyes has 1 more win than Lille in their h2h record. It is 8 against 7 wins with 21 draws. But I'm surprised to see the prediction odds. Lille is given 1.38 whereas Troyes is given 7.80 odds even with the fact that Troyes always does very well while playing against Lille. And because Troyes had lost in their last two matches, I don't think a win will be easy for Lille as sighted by the bookmakers. Betting on Troyes to win or draw is a better risk to take.

I don't know but lately many games here are coming as true both teams to score yes and this league has been historically on the low side of goals and this was not commonly found here.I placed a bet on both teams to score to Lyon vs Strasbourg as I thought Lyon would win with a huge difference in goals because they are better ranked and has the better players,I never expected them to lose yet I expected at least a goal from Strasbourg who in their latest games has been able to score goals,last time around they stopped the title runners up of Lens at a 2-2 draw at home.
I think they were just unlucky in this match, just imagine that out of the 28 kicks they took only 7 were on target. And the 1 goal they scored through the white point was not from a gameplay situation that they really did. The percentage is that they don't play effectively and they often waste opportunities that they should be able to convert into opportunities that end in goals. I also didn't expect that Strasbourg would be able to win in this match.

Red card has been saving lens to get full points from auxerre. If there would be no red card and i think the match will be ended with draw as the result. As far as i know that if the match has been dominated by lens but all of its attacks were not able being converted into the goal. that's why lens was so lucky in this match caused by lens get a penalty. The penalty has been successfully execured by lens's player przemyslaw. Lens has a problem with the attacking line but so far lens doing so well in the match against auxerre.
Despite red card or not receiving by Auxerre player's Isaak Touré on 65th minutes actually Lens got three points and make close position standing with PSG behind 3 points left. Up coming match Rennes vs PSG and Lens want to see PSG failed get full points and standing Ligue 1 position will be excited. Sure I can't believing with Lens won 1 goals only regarding 2nd current standing position against Auxerre as relegation team, however Lens success securing three points and keep compete with PSG for Ligue 1 tittle, although not favorite but consistency performance and points close stull not close chance for Lens with domestic tittle.

Lens with another win today against Auxere, it was a tough one and it was thanks to a penalty but the most important thing in these type of games are the three points, i did not expect auxere to put up this much resistance especially after seeing their poor performance and how fragile their defense is.

Lens was supposed to win this match quite easily. But in the end, it was not truly easy for them. I would say that Lens had control over the match. But they could not do too much with all that control. I've seen they had possession of the ball a lot. But they could not create too many good chances with that. After all the penalty was the only goal scored in this match. And after that, the red card made it very hard for Auxerre to come back in this match. In the next match, Lens will play against Troyes. I am expecting that Lens is going to win that match as well.
Lens had a pretty interesting match against Auxerre to be honest. I would have expected a much more comfortable win by a big score difference. But instead they didn't even have goal attempts that were close to the number of chances they had in the first half after Auxerre got that red card. Lens should be more productive in such easy matches to prove themselves worthy for a title race.
For now it still feels like Marseille can get past them soon and finish the season ahead of them as well. It depends on how effective Marseille will use their squad quality.
