Well the first leg was a disappointing one for psg and most gamblers who had high hopes on PSG at least getting a draw in Germany. This is because psg had a good preparation for this game as against Dortmund who are still in a top 4 battle so it’s expected psg would be winning this comfortably. Well the reverse was the case as Dortmund had a good strategy to this match and it played out for them.

 Borrusia Dortmund took this game defensively and they only had a goal and made sure they defended all through the remaining minutes. Psg on the other hand though lost some great chances which also hit the woodwork couple of times but I think this result in all was a disappointing one for them.

 Of course there’s a second leg at Parc des Princes and Enrique will have to make this team perform above average to be able to do another comeback. He’s got the right players for the job as he’s got some highly skilled individual players that can help do the job, so relying on them will be one great strategy to effect a comeback.

 ⁠I’m still optimistic on psg being able to head to the finals but with this kind of performance, if they meet a team like Real Madrid, I think they won’t be able to stand a chance. Well I’m favoring Real Madrid to get the Ucl so as to reinstate their stand as the big boys of Europe.

You are right, PSG did not perform according to expectations because they were defeated by Dortmund and this match actually provided an opportunity for PSG to score goal but this opportunity failed because the ball hit the goal post.
Dortmund performance was unexpected because they previously performed less than satisfactorily and in this semifinal PSG was favored over Dortmund in the two matches that took place, with only 1 goal and playing defensively, Dortmund got the advantage.
I was very surprised when I saw that until the end of the second half PSG didn't get single goal that could equalize, I sure many people were disappointed and gamblers lost money because they made PSG the favorite.

But I sure that in the second leg match PSG will definitely get an absolute victory and they will be able to surpass Dortmund 1 point deficit in the aggregate.
My prediction is that PSG will win the semifinals and they will be in the final against Real Madrid, but it is impossible for PSG to beat Real Madrid if they actually meet in the final.

I don't think Clermont was able to beat Monaco in that match. Clermont's opponent last night was not an ordinary club opponent, but a club that is currently in second place just below PSG, so Clermont's strength is clearly less than Monaco, they are already unable to compete in the league 1 for season. this and it seems like there is no chance for Clermont to survive the relegation zone while Clermont's next opponent is Lyon, the club which was in the relegation zone at the start of the season has now improved their performance and is now getting better and I think Lyon can beat Clermont who is currently Fighting in the relegation zone, if Lyon is able to get 3 points, Lyon's position will increasingly rising to the level and they still have a chance to finish in the top 7.

Meanwhile, Brest was only able to achieve a goalless draw against Nantes at home, even though Nantes is a club that is currently near the relegation zone and I think Brest can get 3 points from Nantes and continue to compete with Monaco for second place, but unfortunately Brest failed. reducing that opportunity by only achieving a draw, now the difference between the two points is 4 points and I think Brest has no chance of being in the runner up position this season but at least being in the top 3 is an extraordinary achievement compared to last season where Brest only finished in position 14.

Sometime ago in this same thread, I said that Paris Saint Germaine will definitely remain the the strongest team in the French league with or without Kylian Mbappe because they have many other top class footballers in the team but will still miss the services of the France international because in his absence, Paris Saint Germaine will not be not possess the kind of threat they currently have because of Kylian Mbappe especially when they're playing in Europe. Kylian Mbappe is one player that can single-handedly decide the outcome of games and that's because of his footballing abilities and strength to dribble past defenders while on speed motion.
Paris Saint Germaine must get a player who'll replace Kylian Mbappe and just like you said, Victor Osimhen will definitely be a good replacement fir Kylian Mbappe. The Nigerian striker have proven over the years that he's got all it takes to succeed in any big club and league he finds himself in.

The departure of Mbappe should be an important issue for PSG to look for his replacement. It may not be so difficult for PSG to sign a good player, but it will need to strengthen other area to make up for the lost of Mbappe's quality. Osimhen may be the best option for this issue, because he is also a physically strong and fast striker.

I think PSG won't have a big problem to stay as a strong team, because fortunately they have Enrique as their manager to prepare a good plan for next season without Mbappe. Their quality is still above other teams in the Ligue 1, but Enrique should remember that there is no guarantee for them to still dominate the league, because it has happened before when PSG failed to win the league despite having a better squad.

Monaco 4 - 1 Clermont

The age of mbappe is actually an advantage for him as he will be able to use that to secure even longer contracts in good clubs and still have time to still get to achieve again outside such club if he eventually gets to leave them. PSG happens to be the richest in the french league so I think the only challenge they will be having getting mbappes replacement will be finding one asides that they have got what it takes to be able to afford another mbappe if they get to see one.

Even though previously Montpellier had scored one goal in the second half to pump up the enthusiasm of their players, it didn't work and everyone just wanted to resign themselves to defeat. In fact, Montpellier could have held on to the draw if they had fought since the first minute of the second half but the nightmare came and Le Havre instead increased their lead and the match ended 3-1 for Le Havre to win.

I disagree, first of all at the start of the season many of the players weren't used to each other since they had a lot of new transfers, with more of them getting into chemistry together, and also they played together so they are more in form right now and at the start of the season they weren't trained that well, they came off vacation for the summer, so they were a bit let go, and by the end they are more in form.

So, if you compare the PSG team without Mbappe today, and the PSG team at the start of the season, of course you are going to see a lot of differences. André Ayew can scored more goal for Le Havre and the final result of this match is 3-1 for Le Harve and after through an 6 matches without the winning result finally Le Havre has successfully return to the winning ways again today and this result is very important for Le Harve because at least they can slightly to avoiding relegated zone and currently Le Harve has 3 points above to Metz but in my opinion their position is still not fully secured because with 2 matches remaining everything still possible to happend

For other match Monaco vs Clermont have already started today with scores is still 0-0 and just like i said before i think this match could be easy for Monaco because compared to Clermont i think Monaco performance is much better and on the paper Monaco should be able to overcomes Clermont without any problem and if Monaco can able to do that then they will have 61 points and for Clermont if they lost today most likely Clermont will be relegated to Ligue 2 because they only have 25 points ftom 32 matches and with only 2 matches remaining then i think almost impossible for Clermont to avoiding relegation zone

The match between the bottom teams now leads Le Havre, 2-1. The match was quite interesting, because Le Havre was able to lead by 2 goals at first before Strassbourg was able to reduce the position to 2-1. But now there are only a few minutes left before the match ends, so Strassbourg doesn't have much time to equalize.

However, they still had a chance to equalize, because they controlled the match a little. But in my opinion it might be a match that Le Havre will win, because there is not much time left. Le Havre just had to focus on maintaining their position, don't let them lose concentration which would allow the opponent to take advantage. It would be a shame if they had to receive a goal in the last minute which meant they failed to win this match. Because victory is already before their eyes.
