There performance in the Champions league is not really poor but they deserve to have done more better considering the high level of tactical and experienced players that the club has but yet they are struggling to move to the next round in the champions league which is very bad and their fate to move to the next round of the competition is dependent on the outcome of their last group match against Borussia Dortmund on 13th December of which it isn't gonna be an easy match for PSG.
If peradventure PSG loses to Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle wins AC Milan then definitely PSG will be out of the champions league so they need at least a win against Borussia Dortmund who has already qualified for the round of 16 so they may not actually take their match against PSG too serious but this is football as sometimes clubs humiliate some other clubs in matches just to keep a record.
PSG fate is in their own hands, and that is still a good thing. Unlike Manchester United in group A, they do not have to depend on the results of other teams. This life or death match will be a test of Enrique managerial abilities, but I remain confident that his experience can take PSG to the round of 16. Newcastle or Milan will have to settle for advancing to the Europa League playoffs.
I read in the local news that the VAR officials at the PSG vs Newcastle match had been sanctioned by UEFA. This is in response to a controversial decision which is considered detrimental to Newcastle.
