I have said before that Nice and Psg are teams that so far are strong candidates in the competition at the top of the standing because they are close on points to each other at the top of the standing. In the last 3 seasons we have seen that many changes have occurred in the top 4 and there are often surprises like what Lens did in the previous season. So this season, PSG has made big changes to their team, such as selling Neymar and the departure of Messi, which is one of the imbalances that has occurred but that can be corrected by Luis enrique.

I think that PSG returning to winning ways in a row will make them stronger and will not give Nice a chance to move their ranking. Mbappe played an important role in PSG revival in achieving consecutive wins. He has found his sharpness to score many goals in every match. Fans certainly praise Luis Enrique performance in bringing change in a better direction and this is a pretty good start for him.

PSG is obviously a top team and it’s very normal if they’re dominating in Ligue 1, where the fans needed changes and the main reason why Luis Enrique was hired was to get this team success in European tournaments and that’s one thing that he’s already failing. Newcastle being in top form pose a threat to PSG but the hosting team PSG was probably great enough to get at least one point from this Newcastle side so as to get their spot in Round of 16 of the tournament

 I think they don’t really have the squad depth to grant them success so far and I think the Round of 16 might be the closing stage for this PSG side except they do some quick and critical shopping in the January market, to bluster their team and strengthen all the weak areas that needs to be strengthened.

Nice has not been defeated at all this season in 13 matches, but I don't see them as worthy to challenge PSG. Not without reason, because they are having difficulty winning, so far they have drawn 5 times. Lille (week 1), Lorient (week 2), Lyon (week 3), Brest (week 7) Montpellier (week 12), these are the five clubs that managed to hold Nice pace in collecting points. I think the consistency that Nice currently has will not last long, in other words, it will only be temporary.

Although I was quite impressed with their success in beating three strong clubs, PSG, Monaco and Marseille. However, that doesn't mean anything if in the future they still struggle to get 3 points, so breaking PSG dominance this season will be difficult for them. Moreover, if PSG is eliminated in the UCL or continues to advance to the Europa League, then Enrique squad will be quite difficult to beat in Ligue 1, because they will be fully focused.

But this is just an assumption, which may be completely wrong, or maybe half right. By not underestimating the potential of other clubs in Ligue 1, all possibilities are still quite open to happening, it could be that in the second half of the season the story and scenario will be reversed. However, based on calculations, with all the attributes they have, and an experienced coach, I think PSG still deserves to be superior in lifting the trophy at the end of the season.

No doubt PSG still remain the strongest team when it comes to their  league the French Ligue1, they may not have the likes of big names at the moment since Messi and Naymer left the team but the likes of Mbappe and the rest of the big boys in the team is enough to withstand the names in the other clubs as it is now so I think it will take some time for a team to defeat them in terms of comparism and the number of notable stars in the club. The club is rich and they are ready to spend so much than other clubs in the league to get any available player they want this alone shows how superior they are to other clubs who does not spend so much of buying players like the PSG team. Regardless of the PSG team not getting the results they have been looking for wieh the squad in the team but they have achieved so much in the league as they have dominated in the league with highest number of league trophies and club achievement so they remain the best till further notice.

Paris Saint Germain are the strongest club here, they have everything that is superior to other clubs. It would be very strange if they couldn't defend their title, however I don't think there is a club that can match Paris Siant Germain in LIgue 1, because they have a lot of money. They need expensive players even though they will be able to buy them, as happened last season, where they are inhabited by star players, such as Messi, Neymar and their young star Mbappe. This is something that other clubs can't do, so it makes a huge difference in quality.

But I will say that there is still a chance. I cannot even say that for the other team in this league. They have fallen off so far that there is almost no chance for them to be able to catch PSG. If any team can actually catch PSG now it is going to be Nice. For every other team, the point difference is just too much to be able to close. And even though I also do not think that PSG will face any big problems because of Nice I still hold out hope. But I still do not think that PSG is going to be beaten by any team for the title.

PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 is still quite dominant and they still have a good chance of winning the league this season. But management and fans will probably demand more from Luis Enrique because if he fails in the Champions League then it will be no different from the previous coach. For me, it will take several seasons for Luis Enrique to become a successful coach at PSG because this season he still doesn't have a big chance of winning the Champions League.

A draw with Newcastle gives PSG the opportunity to win the group but they must win the final match against a much bigger score. In the end there will always be criticism of coaches who fail to bring their team through to the Champions League and Luis Enrique will not be free from this criticism. But I am sure they will qualify for the next round even though they are runners-up because currently PSG is behind Dortmund with three points difference and the last match the two will beat each other.

Yes, but the competition is still long while the difference in points is still very close and I still believe that Nice will overtake PSG again in the next match and my belief is after seeing Nice's excellent consistency, they have never even been defeated and have no scheduled matches in other competitions, whereas PSG It will be difficult with other matches in the Champions League, making PSG decline a little and have to focus on one competition.

Lens decline in performance was due sale of their key players, Seko Fofana and Lois Openda and both them are key players last season for Lens. If they want to sell key players, Lens should be patient. I mean do that's one by one every season, but if they have other key players in squad. But it seems like Lens management only wants big money, by selling these two players. Although on the other side they can get other players too, and make those players shine at there but it's also not easy, they are are need a lot of time to shine.

PSG have a great ambition and financial power, they didn't hesitate to have the best player, even expensive players. With the current depth of PSG squad, I also think that other teams in League 1 will not be able to stop PSG from winning the title.

Although Nice is still unbeaten so far and also only has a gap of 1 point with PSG but still, Nice does not have good goal productivity at this moment. Thus, it is likely that this factor will make it difficult for Nice to overtake PSG. Although for example Nice can return to the top of the standings but yes, it still seems easy for PSG to take over the top of the standings again and until finally PSG will still get the Ligue 1 trophy this season. But yes, indeed, at least Nice also has a good defense so far, because Nice managed to be a team that conceded a very low total. But at least, that factor still won't be enough for Nice to compete well with PSG in the title race.

Even though PSG couldn't make the best start in the league first they still managed to get to the lead easily and opened a quite wide gap with the others - except Nice. This just shows the quality of the Ligue 1 clearly I'm afraid. PSG even made big changes in their lineup this season. But still there is a huge quality gap between their squad and the rest of the teams. Probably this season is going to be another one in which PSG win the league title no matter how difficult it becomes.

Maybe Nice can make things more difficult but I don't know. We need to see at least the same performance which Lens had in the previous season.

I mean PSG dominance could be an important role in this, but we can't really just put all the blame on them. Lyon was mismanaged and they could have been still fine, look at the league there are so many teams who just try to do their best and that should be fine, whereas we are looking at the Lyon situation and they are doing terribly. It's obvious that we are talking about a problem with how the club is managed, and I do not mean the manager, ı mean the owners or the group whoever is managing it.

It should not have been like this, they should have done better and this should have been not an issue at all. I understand that it may cause some trouble that PSG is there, but they could have still fought for a top 5 finish every year, if they have done that then they would have been fine. A situation where they are not going for it, means that they are not managed properly, Monaco has been better than Lyon, that doesn't make sense when Lyon won so many times.

Lens who not just like Tottenham went down the log but went far below and have had poor run of form since then, how would a team go from top to botton in weeks. Like what went wrong?? I think they became very unserious at some point or maybe they sold some of their important players, however they're gradually trying to get back on track.

 The Ligue 1 has always had PSG as traditional leaders and that could still be so this season even though Monacco and Nice are seriously gunning for that title but I feel they might not have he strength and depth to keep PSG on their toes for a long period of time, PSG have the quality of title winners and they would surety take home this season’s Ligue 1 trophy to add to their cabinet, however they need to maintain consistency so it won't slip away from them like it almost did last season.

It is going to be hard, especially for Monaco. Nice is still close in terms of points. They only have one point difference when compared to PSG. But Monaco, I believe has a difference of six points. That is just a little too much. I don't think they will actually be able to get close to PSG anymore unless PSG actually has a big drop in terms of performance. And I don't think PSG is going to have any kind of drop like that because the performance from them right now is quite stable. I have to say that the new coach has done really well with the club.

I hope that in Ligue 1 there is a team that can consistently compete and pressure PSG throughout the season at the top of the standings. However, in reality, no club is really capable of doing this, even though PSG has lost 9 points in 13 matches. Nice is sticking closely to PSG with a difference of 1 point, but they have not been able to consistently win, and have drawn 5 times even though they have not been defeated. Monaco and Lille had even more difficulty reducing their points difference, which is fortunate for PSG to be in a situation like this. I think the new Ligue 1 will be more competitive if rich investors enter and acquire one of the clubs in Ligue 1.

Currently, PSG even has the best squad depth in the world if you look at the market price of its players. In fact, the price of one Mbappe can match the price of another one squad in Ligue 1. Perhaps from this perspective, this domestic competition is considered like the Farmers League every season. PSG can easily win trophies even though they are inconsistent, because sooner or later they will return to the top of the standings. Money is not everything in football, but PSG dominance so far has been built on an abundant financial foundation. But, all the attributes and advantages that PSG have only apply in Ligue 1, because in the UCL they have to keep fighting until the last match.

Just like this time. PSG is leading the competition again and it's starting to left its opponent behind. PSG is starting to rebuild the club again. I think that PSG is now owning more than 80% chance to win league 1 again. This is pretty much the same like bundesliga which was only domination by a club with 1 billion valuation called bayern munich. The competition is unattractive since there was only a club that was always winning the trophy. The fact, valuation of club was also affecting the quality of clubs and its chance to win the league as well.

Even though nice was the closest competitor, but i will not call it as a consistent club. You may be seeing nice to decline at the late season. This is the main problem owned by the clubs with low valuation.
PSG has secondary squad that has same capacity as the main squad. it was not a serious problem once there are some players were injured unlike other team.

Ligue 1 will forever only be a farmers' league because even though PSG experienced bad results, they managed to recover and started to displace other teams in the top flight. The instability of other teams is also worth asking why they are like that and in fact it is the same as allowing PSG to move freely without obstacles towards the top of the standings.

Nice is PSG's closest competitor so far and although they are the team that has conceded the fewest goals, there are times when they cannot maintain this. Moreover, the average win achieved by Nice is always with 1 goal in each match and there is a very high risk of a draw or comeback defeat.

PSG and Nice are currently competing competitively to get to the top of the standings but I am sure these two teams only need at least 3 more matches to see who will deserve to be at top of standings and if one these top teams makes mistake losing or losing consistently, they will definitely be left behind as runners up and I will only guess if PSG this season still has the opportunity to be at top of the standings as long as Mbappe still there.

For now it looks like this is the case in Ligue One, but we also have to look at the quality of the two teams as a whole, between Nice and PSG.
The Nice team just needs to maintain consistency while hoping that PSG will make many mistakes this season so that they can win the title, but this is difficult to happen because the PSG team has made quite positive progress since now and when compared to the start of the season the PSG team has experienced quite significant improvements.

If you compare these two teams, of course Nice is still quite consistent for now because they have never been defeated in Ligue 1 and so far Nice is still at the forefront to disrupt PSG in the race for the title. However, I see that Monaco has a little problem in their team, namely their defense is not very strong this season. But the season is still long and these two teams still have a chance to occupy the top of the standings, but that is very unlikely because PSG will not provide space for them.

Nice is only 1 point behind PSG and they have been quite consistent so far. It's possible that Nice will swap places in the standings table with PSG if PSG loses points in the upcoming match. Monaco will most likely be targeting a top 4 ranking this season and they must be able to improve their performance because the teams below them are starting to pose a threat to them such as Losc, Reims and Lens.
