They really need all those wins because they are fighting for a spot at the European competitions next season and by the looks of it either they will get in or they will miss with very few points. The start that they had was something horrible and the way they are getting better right now, if they had just a few wins at the first 10 weeks then they would have been in a much better situation but they had absolutely nothing going for them at that moment.

I think it's quite clear that we are going to see Lyon be better next season so they want to make sure that they can go to Europe in order to make a bit more money, even if they can it would probably be just conference league but if they keep getting better like this then there is a chance that they could win it all as well.

Actually PSG had lost the league to another team few seasons back and just like the bundesliga where Bayern Munich is currently getting to loose the league title aswell to Bayer Leverkusen, it's normal to at a point in time always have the dominance of a top team in any league broken, it's only in the premier league where no particular team gets to enjoy dominance well enough before it's broken.

For me the fact thst these dominance gets to be broken once in awhile has always been a sign that of others in the league aswell get to put in diligence they too can achieve such victory and not letting the league title staying too long with a particular team making the league at some point boring. The only advantage PSG has always gotten over othe teams in the Ligue 1 has been their financial strength to be able to strengthen the depth of their team but then this strength isn't shown well enough in the champions league where they are supposed to meet their equals which could actually mean that they aren't utilizing their advantage well enough such that if other Ligue 1 teams gets to wake up they are definitely going to be better contenders against PSG.

But the fear of the fact that PSG is already at the top and has got that dept and strength which most of them seem to lack has always kept them away from trying to contend meanwhile they fail to understand a limitation that comes with PSG dominance which is in the fact that they are quite dependent on their key players and that could be a problem for them of which other stronger teams in the Ligue 1 can take advantage of to getting ahead of PSG and creating that fight that could give them a chance to dominate again.

Yes, you are right and I agree with that statement, but unfortunately all of that doesn't add up because in this second leg PSG also suffered really embarrassing defeat, just look at the result like the first leg with 0 - 1 defeat.

I don't know what happened to make PSG suffer two defeats at once in these two semi-final matches, for away matches, defeat is acceptable but for home matches it is not normal defeat.

I myself felt it, disappointment over PSG defeat and of course this was bad match and proved that PSG is not team that can have stable performance for big and important competition like the UCL.
