They really lost in injury time. They probably didn't expect that Lyon would be able to add 1 more goal during extra time through a goal from Mama Balde. This certainly surprised the Lille players. Because of this mistake, Lille's position could not be in the top 3. In fact, this was quite difficult for them because the season was almost over and they still had another tough match against Nice in the last match. As for Brest, they should have an opponent who is easier to beat.

Lyon is certainly happy with Lille's victory, but Lille certainly regrets it very much. Both teams are fighting for Champions League tickets, but I think Lille is almost certain to fail due to that defeat.

Maybe Lille also underestimated Lyon, because Lille won 2-0 at half time but who thought Lyon was able to comeback in the secondhalf. Thus,maybe Lille thought Lyon was no longer able to make a goal because the match at least only left 5 minutes of normal time. But anyway,the reality is that Lyon is still able to make goals and even make 2 goals and with this result Lyon has a good chance to finish in the top six . But besidesthat, atleast with Lille defeat also made me lose in my bet, because I bet on Lille in this match.

In the most important match of the week, Lille lost at home to Lyon. The 2 teams have different goals in the league and both need a win. Lille wants to finish 3rd in the league while Lyon wants to finish in the top 5. The match was very exciting and I honestly didn't expect such a comeback from Lyon. It was great for Lyon to have this kind of comeback on the road. With the point they got from this match, they managed to get one step closer to the top.

A really bad performance from LOSC in the last match. The defending was terrible from both teams, to be honest. But it was actually a little more terrible from LOSC. They had a genuine chance to actually get ahead of Brest. but now they are two points behind them. Brest dropped points against Nantes and I thought that was the time when they were actually going to be pushed out from the Champions League group stage position, from the top three positions of the table. But LOSC was unable to take advantage of this chance.

Now if Nice is able to win the next match, LOSC will have nice to think about because there will only be a difference of one point between them and Nice. I think there are still a lot of chances for the position of the teams to be changed in this league. If we actually forget that PSG is a team in this league, the league actually becomes interesting.

 Well as the season is about to end we can see all teams gearing up as they will want to be performing in the UCL next season. In the Ligue 1, you can already term PSG as winners of the league. The main competition in this league is on who qualifies for UCL as many felt Lille will be able to overthrow Brest in 2nd but it wasn’t possible as they were mot able to get the wins in the recent matches.

 I think these losses now put Lille in tight corner and they want to remain their remaining matches to at least feature In UCL next season. Moncao are in a better position as they just need 3 points from their next match and they’ll comfortably be ready for UCL football next season. Lyon also want to try to secure an European spot but it’s not going to be an all easy fixture for the 3 teams in this tight race this season.

 ⁠I think this competition for UCL football is quite interesting but it will be more fun if this competition is taken for the league title next season. The way these clubs are taking every final match makes this league look interesting and is now catching our attention and I wish the clubs will take this competition and be able to fight for the league title next season.

The result match of Lille has been help Monaco to secured one places on Champion League spots for next season because currently Monaco has 6 points above to Lille and with only 2 matches remaining mathematically Monaco only required to playing draw to secured their position and it won't be hard for Monaco because their upcoming match is only against Montpellier even most likely Monaco can collect 3 points later from Montpellier and finally after 5 years absense Monaco can return to Champion League again

I was very impress to see Lyon performance because after beat Brest and Monaco today Lyon can successfully to extended their winning streak by win with narrow scores from Lille and i think this is good achievement from Lyon because with this result they can occupy 7th place with only have 2 points below to Lens and i have seen Lyon upcoming opponents and they only fight against weak teams Clermont and Strasbourg so i am very confident Lyon can beat all of those teams and big possibility they will be able to taking over 6th place from Lens and playing at Europa Conference League next season

Lille has one difficult match, namely against Nice. If you look at the remaining matches, Brest should be able to secure a position when it comes to getting tickets to the UCL. They are 2 points ahead of Lille and have had 2 relatively easy games. If Lille is able to win all the matches then Brest must also win all the matches. But if Lille lose or draw then Brest only needs to win one game and they will secure third place. CMIIW. Brest has a situational advantage over Lille.

I think Brest deserve the spot because they are now ahead of Lille with two points and have a bit soft games to play that Lille.
The League 1 competition for the top four is bit clear and not as complex as other teams that some teams already know that they have qualified even before the end of this season. Take Premier League for example, there are certain teams that didn’t know their faith yet, they are just hoping to see if they can qualify because their points difference is very close and anything can happen at anytime along the line.

I am confident that Brest will qualify ahead of Lille because they are a bit more consistent than Lille.

Brest and Lille seem to be determining their eligibility for next season champions slot until the last game of the season, the two teams will indeed no longer meet in the remaining matches but with the remaining games they have now even very difficult for us to say who is worthy later, the two teams currently only have a small difference in points to be able to swap positions if they make mistakes in the remaining matches later,  Brest can of course be said to be favourites to get a place in the Champions League next season but it is starting to be doubtful when in the last few games they have not been consistent at all towards the end of the season, while Lille also have a performance that is not better than Brest at the moment so indeed one draw is sure to make one of them will be out of contention.

The LOSC vs Lyon match both played well and was very interesting to watch with seven goals in one match, meaning LOSC and Lyon both played attacking, in the first half LOSC won with a score of 2-0 but in the second half Lyon managed to beat them. defeat them and turn things around. to 3-4 for Lyon's win, Lyon showed a very good team mentality, but unfortunately LOSC couldn't win and that means LOSC is still not safe in fourth position at the moment.

I think that the most consistent team deserves this last spot of Champions League for next season and both Lille and Brest have not been consistent enough to think one of them deserves the spot more than the other.For me whatever the outcome from these last two games it will be the correct result and it will be the team who have deserved more to get that spot,because after all now the team who will make the least mistakes in these remaining games will get that spot in the end.

The competition between Brest and Lille will now be even fiercer after Lille lost yesterday game, currently the two are only 2 points apart so the remaining two games of the two teams will greatly determine who deserves to be ranked third later, I think for now Monaco only needs to win one more game to ensure one Champions League slot next season is theirs,  So with the additional 3 points it is no longer possible to be chased by Brest let alone Lille who are in third place at this time, the competition to get one remaining automatic qualifying ticket will certainly trigger fierce competition for both teams, especially now that both have balanced opponents in my opinion so that the potential to lose points in one match certainly still exists for both teams.

Brest, who have been able to perform quite consistently since the beginning of the season, must again work hard to secure their position in the current standings, previously Brest continued to be in second place in the standings but towards the end of the season their performance was decrease and made them currently have to fight hard to get a ticket to the Champions League zone next season.

Honestly, Lyon has been amazing recently and it looks like they just get the wins they need, being dead last in the leauge and then reaching seventh is a huge deal, unfortunately for them they do not have more games left, just two games left, if they had more games left I am sure that they would be in top 5. This is why Lille lost, because Lyon is playing amazingly, and it's normal that they would lose such a game.

Brest was unlucky as well, they could have won that game, but French league is like this, things are not all that straight up better teams vs worse teams, everything is quite close to each other. I hope that we could see things get better for the league, and we should probably see that not changing on the long run neither.

Lille wasted the best opportunity to finish in third place and in fact they wasted this opportunity when they suffered defeat against Monaco. Playing in front of their own crowd did not give Lille the opportunity to get full points and instead they had to concede four goals at home. Lyon experienced an increase in performance even though they previously played inconsistently in the middle of the season and they learned from their mistakes so they managed to restore their confidence.

Lyon even managed to dominate the match in the second half and Lille had difficulty keeping up with the match shown by Lyon. This defeat closed the opportunity for Lille to qualify for the Champions League because now they have a slightly greater distance from Brest who are third in the standings.

Fatigue can affect the performance of any sportsman. Players need rest to recover the strength they have spent in the field of play. Rest could also help players to recover from injuries faster. When a player is overstretched they might end up underperforming in some games. Nothing is certain in today's game because both teams are on the same level. Dortmund have won the trophy just once, while PSG have never won it and any team that gets to the finals will be my candidate for the trophy.
