Marseille and Angers are set to begin 7th game of the league and Angers are really battling to pick up, at this stage it not early again for me to be expecting any positive outcome from Angers performance, tonight they are playing against the third in the table which I didn't have any hope for them.

The game ended in a draw, I wanted to bet on this game, I thought about betting on Marseille to win, I analyzed the performance of both teams so I put Marseille in my multibet bet, but I didn't get to put any money, I left and then when I came back I thought: I'm going to analyze the performance of both teams again that's when I realized that Angers played against Strasbourg and drew in a game in which they only conceded 1 goal and the same Strasbourg played against Marseille and won. So for me it was already very clear that I shouldn't bet on Marseille to win. That's why I didn't bet on that game and I see that I made a good decision.

Rennes - Monaco

On paper, Monaco are the favorites to win the game, but they are not huge favorites. The bookmakers are only placing Monaco as a slight favorite, which shows that this is a difficult game to predict even though Monaco have been performing well in the last 5 games to the point of not losing a single one while their opponents in the last 5 games have only had 1 win, even though in the h2h between these two teams Monaco have had the advantage

Marseille got me surprised actually as i literally expected more of them and so that performance for me was way below expectations. They had an opponent i wouldn't see as an equal to them considering their form and strength this season and the depth of their squad this season as well as their performance this season, even if it was a victory with a slim edge probably by a goal wouldn't have been seen any less but a draw even if it doesn't happen o be goalless isn't one we should see as really encouraging and to think that they did played so well in that game and their opponent wasn't dominant as they were in that game, I'm believing they will be doing better they have still got some more time before the season goes far.

Angers have not won any game since the League began. They have managed to draw two games and lost the rest. The club will be hoping to get a win in this game but it will be a mission impossible to beat a formidable side like Marseille. This is not applicable to teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich of last season, the teams I mentioned has been doing very great both in the domestic league and the champions league competition but teams like PSG and Arsenal has been struggling to do very well in the champions league but they are better in the domestic league where they have had good results. PSG has dominated the Ligue1 for a long time but they have been so unlucky in the champions League competition because they are yet to win it for a long time even when they had good number of players in the team.

This season, PSG will find it difficult to get to the quarter finals following the squad in the team, they were defeated by Arsenal in their last champions league competition game this shows that the team is only show of winning the domestic league this season but for the champions league competition i doubt if they csn get to the semis.

Ligue 1 is not as competitive as EPL. I think everyone knows that. Being the best in Ligue 1 will not be enough if you want to compete in European competitions. And I think PSG knows that because they prioritize UCL over Ligue 1. Honestly, PSG has improved from season to season. They rotate players to find the best composition. If they only prioritize Ligue 1 I don't think they need to spend a lot of money to buy some new players.
