I still remember Lyon on the second half of last season is very fantastic because within months Lyon under Pierre Sage can able to bounce back from relegation zone fo finish at European zone and this also caused why Lyon owner has decide to give Pierre Sage new contract because they were impress to see Lyon progress under Pierre Sage

Before this season begin i was predict Lyon can able to compete for top 4 position because i thought their performance will be same just like last season but seems i was wrong about that because Lyon has starting this season with poor performance and currently Lyon only able to occupy 10th place with only can collect 7 points from 6 matches

Lyon have been in a very deep decline and they don't even look like a team that is ready to compete at the top of Ligue 1 this season. They have experienced 3 defeats and only 1 victory, that is a different statistic from what they showed last season. I believe that financial troubles could be causing a lot of internal turmoil for them, there are rumours that they are not even capable of paying for salaries on time, they are having some big issues and if this keeps up then someone may have to take over the team, someone who would not even pay for the team, just accept the deal in exchange of taking on the debt, it's going that way. I think if this keeps going then we are going to end up with something that will not be all that easy to ignore, but for now Lyon isn't looking as bad as people make them out to be at all.

It would be a good call for PSG. Because they have a really solid goalkeeper and he is still very young (25). I still can't believe they signed him for free. Grin

If I'm not wrong he had problems with Milan which helped this to happen.

Normally I wouldn't let go of such a goalkeeper. But currently Milan also have a really good goalkeeper like Maignan so no problem for them.

Anyways, Donnarumma makes 12.7 million euros a year for now and it goes up to 18 million with bonuses. But he is still not one of top earners considering how many players are ahead of him.

I feel like they need to do better though, they have income, and they are spending way too much on player salaries, if they could get younger players for cheaper, then about a 50-60 million salary spending would be possible and they could pay that easily and then get out of debt. Sell some stuff that they own too, whatever they can, it would cover some of the debt, just like how Barcelona sold some stuff to pay the debt and get some players.

It's sad to see Lyon's current condition, they should be one of the strong teams in Ligue 1, but now they are only ranked 15th. They have 1 win, 1 draw & 3 losses from the 5 matches they have played so far. Their condition is inversely proportional to Marseille, now Marseille is performing better than last season, they are lucky to have Mason Greenwood there who is performing well. It been great week, I got another win in the Ligue 1 match and today I took LOSC and Monaco as favorites and they really played very well as expected.
Le Havre vs LOSC is an easy match for LOSC to get the advantage and win, LOSC can play quite well since the beginning of the first half and they managed to get 2 goal advantage also in the first half.
But what is really amazing is the performance of Jonathan David who was able to create all the goals in LOSC victory with score of 0 - 3 today.

Yes, it is really sad to see how LYON is now. This club is not as fierce as before, even there are many weaknesses in every point. even for now, their position in the French League is in 15th position, it will be quite difficult for them to recover to the top position, at least, their hope is to rise to the middle club level.
