In terms of the strength of their opponents this time, Paris Saint Germain is better than Strsbourg, but that is not a guarantee that they will win this mtch easily. I am sure I am talking like this because If you look at all the teams playing in Ligue 1, only PSG has above average players.

Paris Saint Germaine if properly analysed possesses one of the strongest team in world football at the moment and that's why I think that their current poor form should be attributed to the manager Luis Enrique who was appointed as the manager of the club in the summer.
The club's management were able to keep their most important player at the club at least for the rest of the season and expects the manager to efficiently use Mbappe and other quality members of the club to achieve great results this season but that hasn't been the case as the French champions are not at the top of the French Ligue 1 table nor at the top of their group in the UEFA Champions League competition. Luis Enrique should device the best playing pattern that'll bring the best from PSG players and see his team become one the best teams in Europe this season.

Not like they are suddenly "that" much better. They got a tie with Lille, and won against Arsenal and that made people think that they are good, beating Strassbourg and Tuolouse is not really all that weird to be fair, they were expected to win them. They are still way too near the bottom and they need to improve a lot more.

Just getting a few good results is not enough, they need to get back into top 10 quickly, and not lose a single point until they do if they can, after that they may start losing points only when the other team does and they need to keep winning as much as possible.

This team was a top 4 team, and if not top 6 team easily and they are nowhere near that level and should be considering that. Ligue 1 is a weird league because teams that are once amazing could suddenly become bad, Lille, Lyon, now Lens, they all had good times and started to suck, no idea what happens to a team that makes them go from good to terrible but it does happen more often here than any other league I know.

In the ninth match in League 1 next week we will see the match between PSG vs Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes stadium, this will be quite an interesting match because so far PSG has not been consistent enough in facing several matches in League 1.
If compared to last season, PSG is currently experiencing a significant decline in performance, I am a little doubtful that PSG will be able to win League 1 this season like last season.
Getting 4 wins from 8 matches is a bad result for PSG at the moment.
However, Luis Enrique still has enough time to improve PSG's performance because currently PSG is only 2 points away from the top of the standings, Luis Enrique must be able to make his men perform optimally in this match so they can get points and try to occupy first place again in the points table.

I will'nt say the word "luck" in soccer because in the end even though many people say that luck does exist but I believe there is no such thing as luck in soccer because in the end it depends on their efforts in club management and what they do on the field. They lost does not mean they are unlucky but it indicates that they are still not ready in the match even though the opponent is weak when they lose it means they are playing badly and the weak team that wins does not mean they are also lucky but they do very well in the match that is run.

For PSG prblem, they must realize that their current condition is still lacking in several aspects. Indeed, the players they have are at a good average level but on the other hand, this is a team game and they always have problems in chemistry and cooperation.

On the other hand, when discussing their coach, they must also realize that other staff and even club executives must also be addressed so that all of them have a unified vision that makes their club cohesive and can develop even better.

In the previous few seasons Lens did not appear so impressive but last season they managed to become runners-up with 84 points and only 1 point difference with PSG who had 85 points but this season they have failed to maintain the best performance they have for League 1.
The deal is that I not so sure that Lens can be like last season being a great competitor for all League 1 teams.
Even though it is true that if they managed to beat Arsenal with a score of 2 - 1 for the UCL this will not guarantee that Lens will be able to give their best for the UCL because several teams from the Bundesliga and Premier League will definitely be able to easily get rid of Lens from the UCL.

Never judge team strength just because it has won one or two times but look at it as whole especially for the UCL which is filled with top teams from every league in Europe.

Lens directing their focus more on the UCL I think is not really ideal because they would have better chance with Ligue 1 than they would at the UCL, it's my taught tho, so I would rather prefer they even channel all that energy in to the Ligue 1 and achieve better or finish tops if it turns out worse , that way they will still be in the Ligue 1 next season and aswell secure a spot at the UCL next season.

Lens may only possibly make it pass the group stage as there are bigger teams who would probably knock them out at the knock out stage, Lens in the Ligue 1 isn't even a strong team, they are considered weak with their current performance in the Ligue 1 where they happen to be at the 14th position on the table having lost about five games this season and had a few wins, this is not a strength that could be considered good enough to compete at the UCL which happens to be a more competitive league with much pressure than their domestic league so it's better they focus on developing at their local league where they have chances more then up there where the chances are slim.

Lens is focused on the Champions League, not the case. Their performance at the beginning of the season was very poor. They were at the  bottom of the table. But now their performance is quite good. He has done well in the Champions  League, we have seen better performances from Lens in the last few matches of Ligue 1.
The team had an excellent win over Arsenal after a draw with Sevilla in the Champions League. Looking forward to see how the team performs  in the upcoming match against PSV. I think the team will be able to score points against PSV as well. The match is more likely to be a draw.

it seems like Lens is really focused on the champions league match so they are not too focused on the league 1 match. IMO for the early stages of this season Lens looks bad because they are preparing their team to try to appear consistently in the UCL and after getting to the middle of the season Lens will immediately improve the performance gets more points to get a finish in a better position to get a seat to the next UCL.
and this is just my speculation regarding Lens performance, which in the near term will improve soon considering what I said previously.

Lens performance has been improved. They started the season very badly. The team lost 4 of the first 5 matches and managed to draw one. But they have managed to solve most of the problems within their squad. We have seen excellent performances from Lens players in the last three matches. The team won against  Strasbourg and Toulouse and shared the points with Lille. The performance of the players is quite stable. The important thing is that they won against a strong Arsenal team in the Champions  League match. This was a completely unexpected result. Arsenal is a very strong team. Lens will be able to maintain such consistency in Ligue 1. And in the next few weeks they should be able to get into the top 6/7 of the points table.

Indeed, no one expected that the contrast between Lens' performance in Ligue 1 and the Champions League would be very pronounced and they could even beat one of the strongest EPL teams. Lens should be able to do the same thing in Ligue 1 by regaining their rightful place and not remaining stuck at the bottom of the standings. Maybe Lens have lost quite a lot of soul since this season and because of that they don't know what to do.

However, I have previously discussed the loss of their most productive striker, Lois Openda, which greatly affected the results they got in the league. If we remember Lens were always able to win with a big score last season and now they are having a hard time even scoring just 1 goal. So I think they have to get a productive striker when winter comes and it shouldn't be too long because they don't have time to relax.

There is still some time left to play the next games, it's national team break so teams could sit down and watch some game tape to figure out what went wrong and what goes right and what they need to work on and what they need to keep doing more of. That's an important information because it allows people to know what is going on. I know that it is not going to be all that simple, but we need to reconsider the hard working part of non-game parts of running a football club.

It starts with the manager, for example Bielsa was known as the person who studied the other team the most, he literally turned that into a science, maybe not that much but all other managers are doing. This means that the one who studies the most will do better when we come back, and you can bet on the games knowing that much. It is going to be fun without a doubt, but I think it should be expected results and nothing more, it could end up with favorites to end up winning all the same.

If the money can be used properly then I think it is possible to get the maximum performance out of a club by using that money properly. You have noticed psg's game for so long, don't you ever feel that psg invested money in wrong place and also their money investment is totally failed because they only spend money on players but never build good relationship between players. It is a failure on their part that they could not create a good relationship between the players and they only bought world class strikers to conquer Europe which was a huge mistake. 
However, they realized their mistake too late and may have developed an illusion of their money.  They should have followed Real Madrid as they had good financial support because Real Madrid is a financially rich club but they never spend money in wrong places.

I think PSG is on a good track in the standings table because the points gap with the top ranked teams is so close which makes it very easy for PSG to return to the top ranking in the upcoming matches. Indeed, at the start of this season, PSG did not show their best form in Ligue 1 because they lost several points in easy matches, so PSG must be able to return to their best form by recording a winning trend in the upcoming matches. Luis Enrique seems to need time to develop a strategy that he can truly rely on in every match.

Mbappe, Dembele, Asensio and Gancalo Ramos must be able to make big contributions to PSG and be able to work together to continue to achieve maximum results in every match. For Monaco and Nice, their position is not safe enough in the standings table because PSG will certainly put pressure on them every week.

This season  is no were close to mid-season, we shouldn't jump inclusion about Paris Saint Germain performance, they have one of the hugh  chances of bouncing back to glory. Nice are simply no match for PSG but with the current form, they have good probability to fight with PSG foe Ligue One title this season. Nice stands to be the only team that's unbeaten this season, 4W 4D 0L though it's quite poor but they're not backing down to accept defeats, not yet. Nice headcoach, Francesco Farioli is a good manager that knows specifically the areas that needs instant improvements, always working on his team inother to provide good support.  

I think the main problem for PSG to get bad results is mostly abuse of their teams spending too much, maybe because of the number of salaries they pay to the players when they come to play for PSG they are not financially motivated anymore, and the huge money they get in the reason for them to have a bad performance there, but PSG already tried to use new coaches and new players but it didn't help the team a lot.
