PSG has a fairly strong squad this season with quite impressive recruitment made by management in the transfer window. From the coach's perspective, of course there is no doubt because he has quite good experience in his coaching career. It's just that they haven't been able to show their consistency well at the start of this season.

Ligue 1 is only dominated by PSG in the race for the title. Other teams still haven't stopped PSG's strength because PSG has better perfection than other teams.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi has invested quite a lot in recruiting great players every season and he is focused on one target, namely the UCL Trophy.
Maybe this season they have to work harder to achieve their dream of winning the UCL trophy because many big teams have the same strength as them in the Champions League.

For a team like PSG with the huge investment they had in this summer and the players they bought to have better performance than last season, it is a shame for them to be in this situation and I think they should work much harder to have better performance because this time we can't even say they don't have a good coach after having a coach like Enrique working in this team.
  

Actually in any case when talking about the championship chances in Ligue 1 it will actually remain the same for now at least this is probably the last season like that for PSG because they will definitely remain[ the favourites regardless of how they are currently performing in the end the conditions do not change but indeed next season might be a little different because in the end if Marsille's acquisition of the Arab sheikh actually happens then it will be a different story.

Enrique still can't seem to get a good commitment which makes it complicated for them but on the other hand it seems like slowly with PSG's current form PSG are starting to bring something positive even though things like this will still be far from perfect but for Ligue 1 they are slowly starting to show their consistency.

Like I've said before now, Paris Saint Germaine are still the favourites to win the French Ligue 1 title at the end of the season despite their poor start to the league season and that's because of the quality and world class players in the PSG set-up.
The manager of the club Luis Enrique has been inefficient with how he's managed the club this season as the French champions are currently third in the league table trailing league leaders Monaco by two points. Kylian Mbappe who's the club's most important player is a player that can single-handedly win matches for his team but hasn't been in the best of his form this season and hopefully when he returns from international duties, he'll be lethal than he's even been since the start of the season.

If it was in the French League, I still believe that PSG would be the title holders. Even though currently their position is not at the top, there are still many opportunities. PSG is not in the best condition this season, apart from losing several of their previous mainstay players, PSG may also lose Mbapee (although this has always been a rumor). However, this will definitely be a worry for PSG in the future. Moreover, they also have to fight in the UCL which in fact is very competitive. However, in the French League, PSG still has a high chance of becoming the winner in the future. Currently, the difference between their points and the top standing clubs is only 2 points so this is not a very big problem, as long as PSG is truly motivated to continue consistently improving. his performance and solidity in the team.

PSG have failed in past season, not able to comprehend matters and bringing in the very best performance on the pitch, but failed to represent an outstanding results outside Ligue One. I would suggest for PSG to throw more concern on signing young talents because depending on just one valuable player will actually see the team decline in performance in his absence. In fact, Paris Saint-Germain is only two points away from Monaco who are at the top of the standings. We cannot yet confirm whether PSG will have difficulty retaining its League title this season. The answer is that it is still too short for us to predict or speculate. The reason is, Ligue 1 has just presented 8 matches and even the first half of the season still has a lot of matches left. The only defeat that PSG experienced in Ligue 1 was against Nice, even at that time Enrique still always relied on Goncalo Ramos as a center forward.

Moreover, if we refer to betting odds, bookies favor this French giant team. But to be sure, we'll wait until this fight takes place.

Mbappé was suppose to leave the club this summer, he already had an agreement with Realmadrid and even rejected a move to the Saudi that came with huge offer of him earning a bigger salary and other financial benefits just to favour his plans of moving  to Madrid, however PSG were forced to punish him, by stopping him from training with the Snr team and even increasing  his release clause to keep other teams away from signing him, which made Mbappé to change his mind and sign a new deal, hoping they'll allow him leave next summer.

 Well the new 1 year contract he signed this season includes that he'll be allowed to move to another club of his choice for the right price, therefore I don't think Mbappé would want to remain at the club no matter how they try to persuade him to stay, he'll probably move to Realmadrid next summer.

PSG left two points only in current Ligue 1 standings and I don't think they will difficult for defending their domestic league tittle last season, too early saying PSG is not favorite team or face difficult for winning Ligue 1 tittle due Luis PSG is most experienced team for winning domestic league. Luis Henrique still need time for adapting with PSG actually they have loss some important players in this season such as Neymar, Lionel Messi and Ramos. Need time make new scheme with some new player and Luis Henrique still have capacity for making PSG winning Ligue 1 tittle in this season although have got several bad result. PSG have loss two matches all competition from domestic league and champion league but not close opportunity for defending their domestic league tittle.

Well said PSG had the best signing in Ligue 1 and a good comparison with other players in other team will show that PSG is just still in their adaptation stage and once they go pass this stage I'm sure they will take over the lead in Ligue 1, I see it like most othe teams at the moment are just scaling up in the euphoria of PSG's downtime but then it's fun anyways, let's wait and watch out for the come back.

If the players finally get used to their new coach and he succeed in getting a stable tactics enough for the team to play with, I think PSG will be back again on their feet, at this point PSG just needs some level of morale boost coupled with some good level of enthusiasm and they will be good, I'm saying this because they don't really have problems with the quality of players the have neither with their position of play so basically these players need some external motivation to take their morale high up there and they may be good.

I watched some part of the wins they had last season and I was really happy with how they made a massive wins. This season I still do not know why they have found it hard to win games.
The pressure when a club gains the top four and joins the Champions League are usually well managed. Lens have not had the best of the season both in the Champions League and French League.

PSG should have sold Kylian Mbappe when Real Madrid came with that big offer for the France international, but they were only seeing things for themselves. Its not a good thing and idea they have lost three important players, it'll take a long while before they can create or attract such players who can do what they do. Lionel Messi shouldn't have gone. This current squad would have been built around him and PSG will succeed.

PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi is more concern about this issue, he plans on dealing and resolving matters with Mbappe. PSG will only tried to convinced him to stay but he has made up his mind and will leave as a free agent next season. Kylian Mbappe is the key man for Paris Saint-Germain, his presence count in all games featured. Unfortunate events do triggered and have persuaded the Frenchman to seek exits doors from Parc des Princes stadium next summer, he won't be able to continue playing in PSG shirt because he has mapped out other major trophies to lift and Les Parisiens won't be the appropriate team that would give him such incredible honors.

Exactly. I agree with you that it isn't wasting money when you are able to turn this money spent into good results. We have had some examples of it from some rich teams already as you have also indicated a couple of them.

I would really like to see PSG joining those teams as well. But somehow they just can't do this. They have changed coaches very often in the recent years. I don't think this is healthy for any team in the first place. They should give a coach more time to see his impact on the team in the long run.

If it also doesn't work then it means there is a need of a substantial change in the team.

I don’t think Lens is focusing on any one tournament - they are trying to play to their full potential in both, but in fact they are not the team that can be head and shoulders above everyone else if, for example, you remove PSG. The fact that they took second place last year does not mean that this year they are stronger than Monaco, Marseille or Nice in this season. Speaking in retrospect, for Lance 6-7 place is the norm.

I am certain that Mbappe will leave the team at the end of the season and I do not think he will contribute to his current team. Many things are determined in advance in transfers. All conditions are discussed and a route is drawn accordingly. There is only one thing that Mbappe will pay attention to in all the matches he will play from now on, and that is not to get injured. In such a situation, you cannot expect performance from Mbappe.

I said before the season that PSG should send Mbappe. The exact reason is that I know Mbappe's performance will drop now. Because a football player who will be transferred will never show his full performance by putting himself at risk.

Mbappé owes them a final contribution before he finally decides to move to another team where his Champions league and Ballon D'or, but if they dont come together as a team to achieve success then they might not have an opportunity to take the top position, nor would Mbappé win any trophy in the team before he leaves, well Enrique is a very good coach and all hope is not lost since they're not even close to the middle of the season yet and still got enough chance to work on their team spirit and start winning games.

 All hope is not lost in winning the Ligue 1 trophy but I doubt if they'll be able to achieve the Champions league trophy under Enrique their performance in the group is not even up to standard,  then I wonder how they'll perform if they manage to qualify for the next round and face tougher teams like Madrid,Bayern or City.

PSG currently still has the opportunity to take the top position in the points table before losing Kylian Mbappe. At least this player must be able to make his final contribution until the end of this season to give PSG the 1st league title and for Enrique as a coach who the PSG club owner believes must be able to correct every bad thing that is happening right now and immediately be at the top of the points table to dominate league 1 until this season ends.
Chasing a title in the Champions League is still a nightmare for Enrique because he hasn't been at PSG for too long and has been given a bit of a heavy responsibility because the Champions League competition is really very difficult to get because there are strong clubs and very experienced coaches and to PSG I doubt this club can make it to the next round.

I think Lens is making a mistake by just focusing on Chmapnios Leageu instead of the French League because, on The Champnios Leageu, there are many famous and rich teams with superstar players there in which Lens can't have any chance of winning the title. But in the French league, there is only PSG while they don't have a stable situation and Lens can have more chance to win the French League.

The performance of Lens last season was very good. They competed for the title. They were a bit unlucky so they didn't win the title. The team was only 1 point behind PSG. And because of such a great performance last season, fans have high expectations from Lens this season. But the lens started the season very badly.

Lens coach Franck Haise is trying to stabilize the team gradually. And so far he seems to be quite successful. We have seen better performances from Lens in the last few matches. On the contrary, Paris Saint Germain can bounce back with a win after they get a draw.
The opportunity is quite open for Paris Saint Germain to win this match, but with the situation they face they must be really careful with the possibility of surprises that Strasbourg will show.
