For Strasbourg to draw this match, it’ll require them some little more efforts in the way they play because it doesn’t even look so. Paris Saint German are way too much better than them for them to even think of winning the match, a draw will only be because of pure luck and nothing else. I have not watched them play in their past head to head matches but the statistics of their head to head meeting is very clear and relatable why Paris Saint German is the better team for this match and would win the match easily without any tussle that will make them even wonder whether they’ll win the match or not. This is a clear example of a big team against a mediocre team.

@Lida93 yes it is the only club that the world takes seriously, but the way they got there is questionable as they have destroyed the competition in Ligue with money only. The Premier League is different because you have several clubs with lots of money and you have much higher revenue that the Premier League generates and distributes to the clubs. In France you still have very poor clubs, which will never have a chance against PSG. It's not an achievement to win that title.

The head to head results do of course speak against Strasbourg. The only games that PSG loses is when they play carelessly or when their opponents have a lucky day. Other than that, the result is pretty much determined beforehand.

The games that most people are waiting for are the PSG Champions League games because everyone still waits for that breakthrough. But it is good to see that billions only don't win you titles in the toughest competition, only in Ligue 1.

On paper Paris Saint Germain are the favorites in this match, and not only in this match because they are also the favorites in almost all Ligue 1 matches and they are also the first favorites to win the title every season. But I agree with you that it does not guarantee that they will be able to win when facing Strasbourg. Their chances of winning are indeed big, but if they experience unwanted things then it is not impossible that Leicester City will Leicester City the winner in this match. You are right, PSG is the best representative of Ligue 1 for European competitions like the Champions League. Many people in France probably expected PSG to be able to bring the Champions League title home to France, but so far PSG have failed repeatedly. This season PSG lacks a lot of strength in attack due to Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid, but they still have a chance to qualify for the knockout rounds regardless of whether they make it to the final or not.

Without a productive attacker and a solid defense, every team will have difficulty winning matches and hoping for a title. PSG have good statistics so far with 21 goals in 7 Ligue 1 games, but they are a bit less good in the Champions League.

Barcola definitely looks like a star there is no doubt about this. I mean he wasn't expected to do this good, and he somehow started the season better than anyone expected, I am sure even he didn't expected the season to be this good. This means he will have some courage to go out there and play properly and do great job, and he will continue to be great.

There are few players nobody saw doing great before this season, Gyokeres wasn't that great back when he was in England neither, but ever since joining his current team he has been great, does that mean he is great, or does that mean he just has a good situation, like if someone pays 100 and gets him, will he fail? Or will he do fine. Barcelona is at the same position now.

Monaco are even ahead of everyone else in the standings at the moment. PSG team is very strong. However, they do not have many experienced players in their squad. Because of this, PSG players are performing somewhat erratically. Luis Enrique wanted to build a youth-oriented squad. PSG's young players are playing well, but the squad needs an experienced scorer. With an experienced striker we could have seen a stronger performance from PSG this season.

However, Strasbourg is not a strong team. However, in the last two matches we don't see a good performance from PSG. Even so, I'd say PSG's players will make no mistake against Strasbourg. The Strasbourg side have won just two out of seven matches this season. The defense of this team is very weak. They conceded 12 goals in 7 matches. So I would say breaking the defense of such a team will not be too difficult task for PSG players.

Lille and AS Monaco are very good teams this season, and have really qualified players. Lille already beat Real Madrid in the Champions League, and Monaco got a lucky win against FC Barcelona. Both teams are high in confidence and wants to go for the wins at every given chance.

I think it will be hard for PSG to keep winning the league as easy as they used to.

I don't think Strasbourg would be too hard for PSG to contain, they are already enjoying some good form at the moment and seem ready to take all 3 points when they play against Strasbourg as the league resumes this weekend.

Monaco won their last match against Lille when they are not in good form as they are this season, and they are now seeing themselves as a potential title contenders against PSG, I don’t think they will lose or even draw this match against Lille.

There will be home advantage for Monaco, they will definitely use it well because they will want to keep given PSG gap before either injury or Fatigue start to disturb their performance in the League. Even though they have equal winning numbers in their last five matches they played against each others, Monaco team looks great this time, and they will definitely stand out in their performance both in the League 1 and the Champions League.
