Quite correct, a lot of utility in Dogecoin for this exact thing. I use Dogecoin to transfer in and out of exchanges, and also from casinos (lots of the bitcoin casinos also support Dogecoin). The fees are crazy low, 1 doge? 2 doge? And confirm almost instantly. Sure I lose a bit of Doge for every exchange, but it is still far far cheaper than the fees for Bitcoin and others at the moment.
BTW Dogecoin also makes the best coin for tipping, that's the second biggest use, in my observation. People are more generous with Doge, and don't mind tipping newbies with a few hundred doge just to get them introduced to crypto.
What I don’t understand about what you are saying is, are there not other alts that can do the same? I thought so, and that’s why some years ago it was in the top ten at coinmarketcap whereas nowadays it is in position 33.
This brings me to another question, Doge has gone up from lower positions, I think it was around the 50th for quite a while. Does anyone know why?
Why I don’t like it is because of its unlimited supply.
