While I agree with your perspective of gambling as entertainment, how frequently does "fun gambling" match reality? Gambling's variable outcomes and financial stakes preclude regulated enjoyment. In pursuit of prospective gains, the human mind may not stick to "simply for fun". Is it a problem to promote gambling as harmless fun when it can lead to loss and addiction? Gambling's psychological effects (winning and losing) can be substantial even with self-imposed boundaries. Entertainment can soon become a deadly habit on this slippery path. Even in its most harmless versions, shouldnt we be aware of these risks when gambling?

The OP is telling you to do what I say and not what I do. But on a serious page, OP is right actually. If you know the number of people some families has lost to gambling, you will pity them and have the same massive support on why gambling is bad for the society, though the problem is always from the players that are addicted. You can't use gambling as a way to feed your family, that's absurd and foolish. Gambling is meant to be gambling( win or lose at the fun of it).


Some countries allowed gambling business to trivia because they want to share the revenue from this companies knowing that there is no job anywhere. When people look for a job and has no alternatives, the only thing they think of is gambling and gambling but that is very bad because the government is losing young talented youths are productive in gambling and not in other sector of the country that will help them.

Really sorry to hear about your experience with gambling. We've all had our own share of gambling but there's still a reason we still gambling. Generally I'll disagree with your view about gambling, gambling is not bad, but being addicted is bad and if the addiction isn't tackled and is allowed to escalate then it'll surely destroy your life and cause you more pain than you can imagine.

You're likely to get addicted when you dedicate too much time to gambling, gambling is something that's supposed to be don periodically and not a daily routine. No doubt that it sure can really be addictive and that's why kids are not allowed to gamble, not just kids, even those who knows fully well they lack self-control.

Gambling was not meant to harm anyone but was for fun but when you take it to the other side of the game where money is involved then you have to wear a thick skin so that when you loss it would not hurt you much. Gambling isnt bad as long you do find yourself that responsible because if not then you would really be ending up on disastrous condition on which it would be just that normal
that losing money will really be just that normal.Therefore, on the time that you do get involved with gambling then it is really just that normal that you should be prepared and get ready on losing money.

Hmm yes what you say is also true, not everyone will realize the statement that gambling is only for entertainment and fun, I think this is quite reasonable because usually something will be easily recognized by many people when there is something very tempting like a win, simply put one person will bring 5 of his friends when that person wins. Gambling is actually fun when you apply wisdom and play responsibly. You must not definitely win always but you'll still enjoy the fun of it even if you are losing. Agree with your opinion, when someone enters the world of gambling, the one who determines their fate is themselves.
