Engaging in gambling in moderation will greatly save us financial losses compared to engaging in entertainment outdoor. Aside from that, recreational activities such as picnics, watching movies, and playing arcade games often have our finance in an outflow system. The only reward is entertainment and happiness whereas, if engage in gambling there is a chance of getting back what we spent since gambling always involved a chance of getting back what we bet in a certain multiplier. Of course, we are talking about gambling in moderation. Besides this kind of control, we are far from developing a gambling disorder.
This is the most interesting part. I think many people in their lives have met people who criticize gambling (or other "bad") spending, but at the same time have an expensive hobby that eats up a lot more time/money. Moreover, if you point it out to them, they get angry and say that "this is different" and cannot be compared
In general, everything is obvious: any activity that brings pleasure is good if you do it within reasonable limits and do not become a fanatic/addict.
I fully agree, that is why any activities in moderation will always save us money. Imagine if we go out every day to party up with people and moderate it making us join the event twice a week will save us 5 days of spending money on that party. The same goes for gambling. If we moderate our time playing, not only do we save money but we have more time to do different stuff that will greatly help us to keep a tab of ourselves from gambling addiction
It is always better to assess your activities especially when it comes to spending out your money.
If you think about it, gambling is more on losing money rather than gaining money.
So you do need to think if you can afford this kind of lifestyle or just allot the money to other worthwhile activities.
If you know your limitations, you can possibly enjoy gambling. However, if you go deep, that's when trouble starts.
We do have different situations and status when it comes to financial aspect which means that spending and earning income would be totally different to each other.
Some do earns big which they could able to sustain their other activities specially on leisure without affecting that much since they do know that they could earn
still big not like into those average earners which their income is really just good for their daily living. It would really be that dumb and no sense if you do still gamble
hard despite of the condition or financial status you do have. Try to balance everything and dont go beyond with your means and leisure times because this would really
be putting you into big trouble if you do tolerate it.
