so. the 33rd matchday starts today . and what do i see at the moment ! düsseldorf leads 2:0 against darmstadt 98 .
if the result stays like this, it will be a very interesting matchday. and if hsv gets 3 points against hannover tomorrow, it will be even more exciting.
but the match in düsseldorf ends in 34 minutes. so a lot can still happen ! so wait a little longer to see if darmstadt scores 2 or 3 more goals.

Schalke has always been a favored team of mine but they have been performing badly in recent times. I always believed that they are a better team than they are performing. Now it is really good to see them back in form and I am quite sure that it will be really great to see them and Werder Bremen back in Bundesliga. time to play against a better opponent and prove themselves.



Hamburger has to win in that match and they also have to win all the matches that are left right now. By doing so they might have a chance of finishing in the Top 3 and if they're lucky they can also finish in the top 2 in my opinion. But the match against Hannover is surely going to be a tough one.

Depending on next match result if St. Pauli success 3 points and defeated Schalke still have chance can promoting to Bundesliga next season, but looking last several match result not good performance and never success with winning match. I think keep favorite with Schalke for winning in this match and have chance for promoting to Bundesliga next season after drop last years with financial crisis happening on Schalke, maybe if success back to Bundesliga, Schalke should improved their financial team and get several star player with competitive Bundesliga match next season.

For me Shalke will secure the victories and I think that St Pauli will achieve their goal, on the other hand I am also doubtful about DARMSTADT, because really in these last games anything can happen and I would like to make my bet based on my emotions, well basically I want make the bets under which the scenario that I want to happen is possible, but I think that I would be going over many assumptions, although seeing the statistics can generate some confidence, in this case I want to bet with my heart, despite that I shouldn't, but I see my results so possible that I hope to have enlightenment to win.

There are only two matches left and only one win will be enough for Schalke to get promoted to the Bundesliga. I am quite confident that they will be getting promoted this time surely. Darmstadt and Werder Bremen also seem to have an advantage in terms of getting promoted to the Bundesliga. It is really great to see Schalke performing really well again after a long time. Let's see how they perform in Bundesliga and of course, they have to first complete the job in hand which is actually qualifying for the Bundesliga.

I agree with you guys for now Schalke is better position to qualify for the Bundesliga, and let’s hope that they will play with confidence and return where they belong i.e Bundesliga. Furthermore I too feel that it’s bit late for St. Pauli, but given the competitiveness of this league we cannot predict if they’ll miss out, and that’s what I like about this league it’s very unpredictable and fun to watch.

Yea, I agree, Schalke vs St.Pauli could be a decisive game for both teams. If Schalke wins, they are almost guaranteed to be in the top2. St.Pauli would be out of the race then. For any other outcome the options would be more open. St.Pauli is pretty much out of the race unless they can win this game though (and even then their chances are slim).

It will also be interesting to see whether Bremen and Darmstadt can secure 6 points in the remaining 2 games. I somehow doubt that they will both be able to do that. I could see Darmstadt to lose some points in their game against Dusseldorf tonight.

Still can't predicting with team promoting to Bundesliga because have chance for 5 top teams standing, actually with Schalke remaining 2 points on top position standing can't guarantee with Bundesliga promotion. Next match against with St. Pauli and if away team success reach 3 points maybe chance for Schalke will take by St. Pauli. This match maybe Schalke favorite because last several match St. Pauli missing many important points and right now remaining 5 points from Schalke, maybe if can defeated Schalke will open second chance for St. Pauli with chance back to 3rd position.

They will play Erzgebirge and it looks like it will be an easy game for them, to be honest, I would like to see Werder Bremen and Schalke play in the Bundesliga for next season.


I'm not sure that Hamburg will win easily against Hannover, even though Hannover are currently at the bottom of the 2. Bundesliga table, but they have big names, maybe the match will end in a draw.

We may not know until last week which two teams will qualify for the Bundesliga. Because the top 5 teams in the points table still have a chance to be in the top 2 of the table. No team's performance is consistent here. But I want to keep Schalke and Werder Bremen ahead. I think they will win the next two matches and qualify for the Bundesliga.

St Pauli has played really well when it comes to home conditions and the stats prove that. But I think they should really improve their game when it comes to playing away matches because of the way they have laid in home conditions if they could somehow do something close to that in away matches they would have been in a far better position in the league standings.

Of course this is very good for them because indeed they deserve to be in the highest caste but now they are also still not really safe because indeed 2 clubs are still shadowing them below them.
Honestly maybe for this season I still expect Bremen to return to the highest caste accompanying Schalke now but in the last few games they seem to have lost their Magic

There is still an incredible competition for the league title between many teams now. Even the team at the fifth position seem to have a chance for this title. It is going to be lovely to follow this competition on the coming two weeks. Schalke are two points ahead of Darmstadt and Bremen and keeping their lead. I think they will finish the season as the champion team. But it is too hard to make a prediction for the second and third positions.

Schalke have played very well this season and they should be promoted. I am a big fan of this team and they have not disappointed this time. I am really confident about Werder Bremen more than Darmstadt this season. I believe they will also be promoted. But for that to happen they really need to start winning and stop coming out draws from matches. and I also agree that the team which plays more consistently is going to be the team that will be promoted.

I don't see chance with Schalke can promotion to Bundesliga on next matchday because have waiting result team from Darmstadt and Werder Bremen. Not easy for both team losing point on this week because they have the same chance can promotion to Bundesliga with 2 points left, actually Bremen as team with easy matchday on this week because against with team have drop from Bundesliga 2. Not chance for Schalke can lock one place team promotion to Bundesliga and need waiting until two match later to know chance keep stay of first standing for Schalke or giving chance for Werder Bremen or Darmstadt become first team promoting to Bundesliga.

Werder Bremen would have been at the top of the table unless they had drawn several matches in a row. Werder Bremen has lost the rythm, so having them at the top of the table is now pretty much uncertain. Schlke have lost just one of their last five matches and Darmstadt have lost two. Each team will play 4 more matches. The team that can maintain consistency will be at the top of the table. Bremen, Schalke and Darmstadt all have equal chances to stay at the top of the table.

why are friday,saturday and sunday the games in the 2.bundesliga ?
last season all games were played at the same time on the same day at 1:30 PM   it has something to do with corona ?
I find it really unusual that the games take place on 3 days. does anyone here know anything more specific !!

It seems that this game will be an easy one for Schalke if you look at the injury report for St. Pauli, you will surely have goosebumps and I think this will be a handicap for Schalke because there are 16 players that are unable to play for St. Pauli, including their top goaler Guido Burgstaller, and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, is at risk of getting suspended, so this is really unfortunate for St. Pauli in getting a slight go up to the 4th standing but this is a sure win for Schalke.


For Schalke, it will be a sure thing for them to play in the 1st division that is for sure, but for Werder Bremen, they need to win their game and hope Darmstadt would lose their next game, but that is just wishful thinking, but Dusseldorf can be quite a handful for Darmstadt so they will have a hard time with their game unlike Schalke that I think their victory is sealed.

While Darmstadt will have a difficult time with Dusseldorf in my opinion, it could be a draw or a win but it will surely be a difficult game for Darmstadt while Bremen can have a peaceful time, because their opponent is not hat much, and they can score almost 3 goals to win this if they focus more.

But I think schalke will be promoted the all match is over, because it will be difficult to see darmstadt and bremen play a draw let alone lose against a team like fortuna and erzgebirge which is a weak team in the 2nd division of the bundesliga, the difference in points which is only 2 makes schalke must be able to win in two last  matches them if they want to be promoted next season, I think the competition will continue until week 34 later to determine which team will automatically be promoted and participate in the bundesliga play-offs.

Schalke can even be promoted and champions at Sunday afternoon. If they win against St. Pauli, they will have 62 points. If Darmstadt and Bremen lose or play a draw both teams will have 57 or 58 points. That means Schalke could not be caught up at the last matchday.
Bremen will play on Sunday against Aue. We will know more at about 3:20pm on Sunday.
