Bayern Leverkusen are still strong like last season; they did not make any changes, which I think is a good decision. Alonso knows that the squad can still do more, and since they are not facing any difficulties, I think it's still what you said earlier: we should wait for them and see how they will start the season. However, after seeing this, it makes me feel that Dortmund is smart compared to Stuttgart because they sell one of their key players. (Guirrassy)
I am among the people doubting their ability to maintain their performance same as last season's performance. Their pre-season results were not bad, but losing to Arsenal with such goals margin is something questionable. I have started doubting their ability to maintain their performance since towards the end of last season because they hardly win matches, they mostly do comebacks or get a draw through coming from behind.
Tuchel was the problem Bayern Munich had last season, and now they have signed Vincent Kompany, and he has started to shape the teams towards a competitive squad we used to know, and with the effort Kompany is putting in, I doubt if Alonso can repeat the same unbeaten they had last season or even win the league ahead of Munich.
They may be the only ones who know why they did that, but to me, that is not the right decision that they are supposed to make me feel because it weakens their position in the attack. I'm thinking Dortmund will be another tough team in the Bundesliga next season because they are also preparing it like other clubs are doing.
Dortmund lacks consistency; they are used to this habit of selling their best players after every season for money, and yet they are not that financially stable to sign players as they like. Nonetheless, we cannot rule them out of the title race because they also made some good signings that can help the team achieve greatness again this season.
