The match will be played at Borussia Dortmund Stadium and Leverkusen will do everything to win this match because they have to play and win every match like a final to advance to Bayern Munich. They are aware of this. It will be one of the most important matches in the Bundesliga and it will start in 2 hours. I also plan to watch the match with pleasure. Because I am sure that both teams will give us an enjoyable match. My favorite is Borussia Dortmund, which will have the support of the fans.

we all know the probable intensity that may come with this game as both sides are competitively good, they both have got the mentality to win and not one to probably loose out or even wanting to settle for a draw and so if you you see any side wining, just see it that some how it was expected of them most likely as both teams are even in their good form except for Dortmund with some few inconsistent form at this point but the intensity of this game may get them to wanting to do more even with their recent inconsistencies.

I have worked with bookies before, oddmakers, and I can tell you that they are not putting up these numbers based on who will win, not even remotely. I mean most of the time they just decide the odds based on what kind of betting they are expecting from one side. This doesn't mean if there were a billion dollars wagered on St.pauli then suddenly they would make St.Pauli 1.40 or something like that, but it would have caused them to have lower than what they have right now without a doubt. So while they do care about which team looks better, they also look at what people bet on or may bet on, just to make sure they are covering both sides.

So in this case, oddmakers believed that while people will bet on Frankfurt more than they would bet on St.Pauli, they just assumed it wouldn't be too huge of a difference, not like Bayern game for example, that is why they have a result like this and odds like this. Which makes sense, nobody would bet as heavily as they do to Bayern.

Why should Dortmund not have a chance to win at home against Leverkusen even when Leverkusen is on the second place on the table ?

It can be undoubtedly said that Borussia Dortmund is a strong football team in the Bundesliga but Bayer Leverkusen is a much stronger football team than them in the current season and they are performing consistently. Although both the teams are equally ahead according to the past record but Bayer Leverkusen is much ahead according to the current record. Bayer Leverkusen have incredibly won their last five matches in the Bundesliga that means they have won these matches consecutively. On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund have won only two matches.

Bayern Munich is performing well in their league competition, and with how they are doing in the Bundesliga, I am sure they will definitely be the winner of the Bundesliga title this season. Their match against Mainz made Leverkusen get closer to them in the league table, and they need to do everything possible to be stronger than before because if they fail to defeat Monchengladbach this weekend and Leverkusen get there chance and achieve three point against Dortmund, definitely that will be a tough competition more because xabi Alonso will do anything possible to stop losing and overtake Munich in the league table, because with how Munich are doing this season, they are not perfect well they can probably lose point in the league. Let see how Kompany will do this season if he can achieve the title since they have get enough rest in the Christmas break so am sure all the players will be in there fitness now to get the opportunity to win trophies.


This will be the tough game this week in the Bundesliga competition, no club will gree to lose any point tonight. Dortmund have not been performing very well in the league but performing better in the ucl, Leverkusen are doing well in both competitions, but Dortmund usually do well when facing Leverkusen because their last season meeting they both draw home and away and Dortmund qualify to the ucl final but probably fail to achieve the trophy, let see what this season will be. In my perspective, this game can be both teams scoring or Leverkusen winning or drawing because I don't really think that Dortmund can achieve three point against leverkusen because they are not performing like Leverkusen this season. let see how the games will end this night. If they probably draw the game that will be advantage for bayern Munich to defeat Monchengladbach and give them more gaps in the league table.

You are definitely right and I agree with you. Dortmund is not going to have a chance against a team like Leverkusen is currently trying to even get the first place in the table back from Bayern Munich and be in the first position again like they were in the last season when Bayern Munich couldn't have a good situation.
Maybe the three points they get from this match can be a good help for Xabi Alonso and his players but for Dortmund, it doesn't really matter if they win or lose this match and I think Dortmund itself doesn't have the hope of winning the game.

Keeping players fit is very important and it is probably true as you say because Kompany must be able to use young players or reserves as a way to maximize their strengths.

I wonder how today's match will look like between Borrusia Dortmund and Bayern Leverkusen, In terms of position in the leagues table this season, Bayern Leverkusen are better than Dortmund, The home side will like to win to keep the pressure on Bayern M. and the away team will like to also win to move to top 4 in the league. My prediction in this match is BTTS as its hard for me to predict who the actual winning will be in their clash today.

It's a wise decision for Bayern to honour one of their loyal player with a contract extension for his service to the club but I don't think it's right for them to cut his salary. I would suggest Thomas Muller move to the Saudi Pro League where he can be able to continue active football in lesser competitive environment and a higher salary instead on continually sitting on the bench at Bayern Munich with a reduced salary wage.

Müller will be a legendary figure of Munich who will not be forgotten in the history of the club. After all, he contributed greatly in his golden age. Now when he can no longer play that well, Munich did not make him but gave him a contract extension as a great appreciation to their loyal legend.
I hope there will be a great contribution from his presence in the Munich team for the rest of his career. When he retires, he will get respect from everyone in the club and the fans.

Dortmund lost their position in Bundesliga two latest season after they hit their peak with a runner up in Bundesliga and a final match in Champions League. They came close to these titles but didn't with either Bundesliga or Champions League in that season. Two latest seasons, Dortmund no longer have world class star players after losing Sancho, Jude and Haaland within three consecutive seasons. Their position in Bundesliga is lower than Leverkusen which have become a biggest challenger against Bayern Munich in Germany.

Leverkusen are stronger and more stable so they have better chance to win this match, a biggest match in Bundesliga in a new year, 2025. Two goal or one goal difference or bigger than 2-goal difference, it isn't too important with Leverkusen. They simply need 3 points from Dortmund that is a strong opponent in Bundesliga.
