The odds given by bookmakers will continue to follow the performance of the top teams in the bundesliga. So it is not surprising that Bayern Munich and Leverkusen are still favorites as leaders of the bundesliga at the end of the season. Actually, it would be more disappointing for me if Dortmund position was below Leipzig, whereas for me Dortmund has a better performance than Leipzig even though they only got 1 win and 1 draw, but I see Dortmund has more qualified players and is able to provide the best contribution in the long term. Actually, at the beginning of the season like this, we should place bets on several of these top teams to get fairly large odds.

Borrusia Dortmund is mainly for winners, although the team's management have made major mistakes that have made them experienced setbacks in league games, talking about selling players, not just any players but the rare gems that have top talents to drive the team to specific heightened station. This is still early stage to start predicting the club's to win the Bundesliga title because every elite clubs are having some up and down moments. This is Germany and the main clubs are preparing to having consistent performance this season.

Yes but unfortunately after successfully defeating Frankfurt they actually experienced a draw when competing with Wender which I thought was not a difficult opponent for Dortmund, or I mean I thought that previously Dortmund would be able to defeat Wender which is a lower class team but it turned out the match ended with a share of points.
So I can't conclude that they performed well at the beginning of the season with one win and one draw against a weaker team.
Next Dortmund will compete against Heidenheim which I would also say was a middle team in the last two seasons since they came but now they are at the top of the table by starting the season without losing, I can't be sure who will win but what is certain is that I think Dortmund has a greater chance if they are able to play optimally.
On the other hand, of course this season will definitely be tighter, and the point is I hope that the new coach can really realize the dreams of the club and the fans who always fail to win trophies at the end of the season.

After a winning start and a draw in the Bundesliga, Dortmund’s performance seems fair from my perspective. In their opener game against Frankfurt, luck was on their side towards the end. They had a tough start, but they need to push through these challenges and start securing more victories after international break. As the season goes on, the competition will get tougher, so it's crucial they work through these early struggles under their new coach, Nuri Sahin.

All of Europe's top leagues appear to be on holiday for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches. The new league will start this weekend, of course this condition will affect the players and clubs who play with the country. Maybe some players will get tired or maybe get injured. Especially good players in big clubs.
Furthermore, regarding Hoffenheim, it is not a weak team either. They have the same 3 points with 1 loss. Heffenheim is a little lucky, they will perform at home. This is a momentum to add to Leverkusen's bad record of losing again after last season was very strong.

You're right. Dortmund placed below Leipzig. But we're still at the early season, and so many things can happen till the middle of season.



The odds above say Bayern Munich is the favorite to win. Leverkusen is in second place. But, I'm a bit disappointed. The gap between Leverkusen and Leipzig is big. Also, Dortmund is in 4th place, behind Leipzig.

It seems to me Dortmund is only competing for the UCL. I'm getting skeptical to think they can become a title contender this season.

Bayern munich and Bayern Leverkusen remain the stongest title contender.

In the last few seasons, Dortmund has appeared quite impressive under Edin Terzic's coaching, even though they were not able to win the Bundesliga, we can see how Dortmund was able to surprise us by winning the DFB Pokal and also becoming a finalist in the Champions League, but this season significant changes have occurred in the Dortmund squad, including change of coach at the end of last season, Nuri Sahin is not an experienced coach although he previously coached Antalyaspor in the Turkish league, I think he will have great difficulty facing competition in the Bundesliga although so far they are still on a positive path in the league, in my opinion although Dortmund has always had the DNA of competitors in the Bundesliga, but currently the rise of several other teams in the Bundesliga will of course be a factor that makes it difficult for Dortmund to be able to compete as a challenger for the title, but even so I hope that Dortmund this season can surprise us by being able to win champion trophy after so long they failed to get it.

This season Borussia Dortmund has not performed badly. They have won one game and drew one in two games. They are even better than Bayer Leverkusen which has just three points in two games. They have a new coach, Nuri Sahin, who is not new to the Bundesliga, having worked as an assistant coach in Dortmund before he was appointed head coach. Four points from two games is not that bad, and hopefully, they will improve after the international break.

Maybe we might have some new team finishing in the top five places. Heidenheim is the current leader of the league and they are one of the three clubs (Bayern Munich and Leipzig) with six points. They might be a wonder in the German League if they remain consistent. In most cases, such early league leaders lose steam and end up in lower positions.

Dortmund management would never stop doing business by selling players as they do every season, however, since last season, this isn't the Dortmund we've known for a long time because Dortmund was the only team that made the league more competitive for Bayern Munich, but selling their players as they always do prevented them from competing last season. Since Dortmund sold Bellingham, Haaland, and other strong players, I believe their performance has changed, and last season we witnessed another team show up to challenge Bayern Munich and win the title.

Bayer Leverkusen did what Dortmund was unable to do in the prior 10 years, Leverkusen came out from nowhere to win the league. However, I am not expecting much from Dortmund this season, even though they have won one of their previous two games, I don't think Dortmund will come back to their old place in the Bundesliga because Leipzig and Leverkusen are stronger than them.

Yes ,you are right. Bayer 04 Leverkusen is good team players of that team are very hard working and they did not lose the heart after losing the last match but I think in this match ,they will be winner of that match.  Both team are of equal level but Bayer 04 Leverkusen has more chance to win next match and they will attack from the front and if they became successful in that aspect, they will win next match by high margin.  TSG 1899 Hoffenheim many players are injured and thet will face big lose after losing good defender and midfielder. I am very sad after the injury of Kabak because he could make interesting and without him match will be like a body without soul.

Dortmund remains a team that will compete at the top of the standings despite the many changes that have occurred. I think Dortmund still has a strong DNA in the Bundesliga and they will remain a strong competitor with Bayer Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and maybe Leipzig too.

I don't think Dortmund will be a fierce competitor in the Bundesliga title race this season, they have undergone a lot of changes and on the other hand Bundesliga teams like Leverkusen, Leipzig and also Bayern have improved much stronger, it is the opposite of Dortmund so I doubt a little that Dortmund will compete fiercely in the title race especially this season they have a new coach of course every new coach needs to adapt in building a team as well as for Dortmund's new coach this season.

When a new player suddenly comes to a team, it is seen that he performs quite well for a few days, but as time passes, when that player comes on the radar of the opposing team, the weakness of that player, the strong points of that player are all noted by the opposing team. This shows that the new player is not able to perform as well as he did earlier. It's the same with Leverkusen, no team expected to perform this well last season so they went undefeated and won the season's title as a middle category team. But I will definitely appreciate their performance because if they didn't perform exceptionally well they would have been stuck at one stage of the season but that wasn't the case for them. But this season will be difficult for them because every team has researched well about the weak points and strong points of this team so it is difficult for them to become champions this season.

This season Dortmund is still a team that every opponent must be wary of even though their orientation in business such as selling good players has not stopped at this time. However, considering that Dortmund can always produce other new players to be better, it can at least still give them good hope this season so it would be very reasonable if we put Dortmund in the league title race this season even though teams like Leverkusen must also be an important consideration for Bayern Munich and Dortmund this season.

For the fact that Bayern Leverkusen stopped the regular wining team from wining last season trophy made me to like them so much because they made the league to become one of the most interesting and unpredictable league but there performance this season is not encourageable enough to repeat there unbeaten record because those who follow up there last season matches will no that a lot has gone wrong on there performance now because from there last match against Leipzig was not how they use to perform and Leipzig managed to become the first on this league to beat them.

Actually I can see that Leipzig is becoming highly competitive on this league season and is very much interesting to see that they have not been beaten by any team so far and they are the third club on the table, though they have only played two matches so let's see if they will still managed to continue there winning records as they are going to meet Union Berlin next.

I will say that Borussia Dortmund got tired of playing the chasing  game every season without being able to stop Bayern Munich. It is not easy chasing someone for good eleven season and still the person keeps improving and doing better. Funny enough Dortmund best players those days always dream of playing for Bayern Munich and Dortmund always fail to prevent them from going to Play for Bayern Munich. Since stopping Bayern Munich was proving too difficult for Dortmund, the best they could do was to turn into a selling club since winning the trophy was out of their reach. But something like this wouldn't have happened if other clubs back then were able to up their games and provided more competition for Bayern Munich. That's why it's good for a league to have more than two teams capable of winning the league. Gradually Bayern Munich dominance of Bundesliga is coming to an end. But how long can Leverkusen go, will they fall off like Dortmund along the way or will other clubs still join them and end Bayern Munich dominance totally?

I understand why Dortmund sells players, they don't want to risk failing again. Better this way, at least they remain competitive. Rome always the best!

The story of why Dortmund sold their talent is a long one. We should understand the whole story. The strategy of not buying superstars but creating superstars originated from the financial crisis that plagued Dortmund in 2004. It is true that over the past 20 years, Dortmund has still played well and is a force in world football even though the team only has young players. Dortmund themselves were on the brink of bankruptcy and they do not want to repeat that. So they had to sell stars to maintain the team's finances.

Dortmund may be financially stable but it is very difficult to win titles. Dortmund are the ones who produce top football stars but then end up selling them to strengthen other teams. Fate is so ironic for them, hopefully, one day Dortmund will have enough financial resources to not need to sell talented stars, at that time I think Dortmund will be a formidable football force.

Yes Leverkusen's unbeaten record in the Bundesliga has been broken this season but they still deserve to continue fighting until the end in the hunt for the title with other elite clubs Bayern Munich and Dortmund, 3 points behind not too far for the start of the season because there are still many matches to be played and I am sure sooner or later Bayern Munich or other elite clubs will soon follow their first defeat.

Talking about the Champions League match, it seems quite difficult to predict the victory because they have never met each other before but I think Feyenoord is quite advantaged because their first match will be played at home which is certainly not easy for Leverkusen who will play the match in the Netherlands.
