Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency have a long road ahead of them. It can not be called a full currency.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have a long road ahead of them. We need regulation, proper taxation laws and of course, converting all our assets to bitcoin. There’s a lot of preparation that needs to be done for crypto to replace fiat. But I do believe we’re on the right track, especially with banks adopting crypto and the growing number of merchants accepting bitcoin.

of course no. BTC has a lot of potential though. There is a big question with government regulation and this can influence a lot. But  I think BTC can rise higher

Because nobody knows for sure the ultimate goal of bitcoin. It can not be called a full currency, like dollars or euros. But at the same time, BTC fulfills the task of popularizing cryptocurrency.

I think that bitcoin was something like sleeping all that time until 2017, so what I mean is that bitcoin is only begins its way to accomplish the goal of it, we are about to see amazing things in near future related to Bitcoin.

When the bitcoin awake on the year 2017, the bitcoin was still slept again and I don't know when it going to awake.  Bitcoin doesn't have any goal because when you reach a goal, there are more goal begin to accomplish it so there's infinite goal await and no one who reach their final goal and also on bitcoin.

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

This is still very far from reality. Bitcoin is for money transfers and the likes. But now it is made as an investment and a money making machine. It is not at alo bad but it is far from its intended purpose.

I think the main goal is to be a very new and very reliable kind of currency and to be a new kind of payment method, if bitcoin becomes mainstream and legalized worldwide then i think we can say it has reached its goal.

Bitcoin has a ways to go before achieving its goal of being an alternative to fiat currencies issued by central banks. Unlike fiat currencies bitcoin cannot be printed at whim. The main hurdle right now is scaling, which within the next year or two will be overcome. Lips sealed Lips sealed

I dont think its working as inflationary alternative to government fiat currencies, I mean that change is not even observable in the current era. Fiat is still the strong hold and tell you what gold is still the best asset in this world no matter what you talk about the bitcoin or what price bitcoin has got today.

In general public the best currency is still fiat and best store value is still gold. Come to think of it, how many salary earner knows how bitcoin works, It is just that you and me are more or less dedicated into crypto that's why we see the vision of it. But come on look at the world population and look at the number of people involved in bitcoin, i can tell you less than 20% of my country population knows about bitcoin.

Yes bitcoin already reached its goal last year with its highest value of all time. I believe that will be the last time reaching that value. Now bitcoin value will now play on the 5k to $10k. BItcoin already helped a lot of users, now is the time for other altcoin.
So true , bitcoin is starting overload and clearly show the limit of itseft , now is the time for other altcoin .

I don't think that bitcoin already reach its goal because for me, the goal of bitcoin is to help a lot of people in this world to stay away from the inflation and help them to create more wealth faster compare to the other methods of growing wealth like regular investing in banks which can only give them a very low rate of interest.

ln the opinion of mine, bitcoin hasn't reached its goal yet. I believe that it will progress more and developed. Bitcoin will keep on reaching for the best. Also, for me, it just starting to achieve its goals step by step, little by little, and inch by inch. I think the best goal it could achieve is the usage and accpetance worldwide. In addition, the legalizing of it is also one of it.

As time passes by, I feel that bitcoin is adding more goals to reach and we cannot tell how long and how far bitcoin can reach its goals. For now lets watch and see what bitcoin might achieve soon.

I think bitcoin will continue to show its best quality in the next few years so traders must be able to maximize the smallest chance there is to gain a maximum profit later with patience to hold assets.
