Anyone know how where I could get this 6-pin pci-e female connector replaced?

It's from my dead BJ board.

No need to replace. Just get a sharp tool like a awl or an o-ring removal tool and start poking it into the melted areas until it all breaks free. Use an air can or compressed air and blow out the loose stuff. It take a bit of time but you can get it cleaned out enough to get good contact with new cables. I used a small knife to scrape most of the residue off the pins themselves. Even if parts of the connector break off its really the pins inside that are important. Just be sure to put the cable on the right way. Wink

I've had to do this on several already. They are happily hashing away again now.

I don't know much else to suggest. For some reason no power is getting to the ASIC or at least one of them.

Was hopeful it would be obvious what the cause was.

Very unlikely the problem but have you tried a different usb cable? Are you attached to a full computer or a raspberry pi?

yea that plug is fine as well i am starting to think its just dead maybe

Take a look at the components on the board. Theres likely something that has blown up/burnt up.

On mine that have had similar issues it always reported 12v power bad. Since yours is acting the same way but has a different message its probably a component on the board itself thats not getting power to the ASICs.

I'd be interested what it is if you find something.

The cable from the psu to the mining card with the 5 wire white connector hooked to the mining card. Is that plug ok?

Hello i have a baby jet that was working fine until i restarted the babyjet and the host . now it get stuck in a loop of cgminer turning it on and then off again and i get the error
OP_USB_INIT failed! operation status 17 {ASIC CORE POWER FAULT}
and bfgminer starts then shuts off the babyjet and no longer sees it

any ideas on what is wrong ?

Re- seat your power connectors firmly into their sockets on both ends. I wouldn't recommend pulling them out, just make sure they are firmly pushed in.

I tried that and even unplugged them and plug in the other set of power connectors that are in the case for a second card no change

I have seen this often and its always been when one side of the power was not connected. Not sure if error message was identical but the symptom is.

Do both sockets look like they are good? No melted plastic or anything on them?

I think I figured out why my BJ stopped hashing all of a sudden.
Anyone know how I should go about replacing it?
from my experience with LARRY (see http://imgur.com/a/94wo7), if you only hash with 2 or less boards, you do not require that cable to hash with Smiley

Has anyone given a shot running their Babyjet clock speed at 750+? Those are what the newer boards seem to run at.
Sure, give it a try. It will be obvious very quickly whether it will run at that speed or not. Your best bet is to keep bumping it up until you find its limit. You probably want to boost the temp-overload threshold as well.
