Yes, I agree if there are always a few valuable airdrops. What you need isn't 'patient', but thoroughness and smartness in choosing those airdrops.
I always prioritize joining airdrops made by trusted exchanges, most of them are valuable airdrops. While for airdrops of new crypto projects, I rarely joined because many of them just resulted in cents or scams. Be more careful if you want to join airdrops made by new projects.

I have never participated in airdrop again, especially airdrop that use ERC20, because in my opinion gas fees we have to pay to sell airdrop that we get are more expensive, so that's the same as we don't get anything from airdrop, therefore for now I stopped participating in airdrop, because in my opinion the current airdrop is not worth it for us to participate.

I doubt that any project would run airdrops these days based on ERC20 token or do they? Aren't they also paying tremendous fees or do any tools exist to cheaply distribute little amounts? I guess no or am I mistaken?

Some people have so much time to waste on some shit airdrops rewards. We should give up airdrop 3 years before people start to think they did wrong. Free money is always like trash, 0.001 times you could find something important there, sorry. We are smart, don't search for something in trash. Sorry.

I participated in airdrop thrice of the OP participated in, and I would say all airdrop that I joined before is I successfully gained a profit. In today airdrop, almost all of it is shitcoin, and you will do all tasks in exchange for shitcoin that they offer. I rarely joined in any airdrop now as I saw many of them as a waste of time for doing many tasks.

Airdrop participants are only oriented to money and luck. They don't think about health in business, they don't want to know in detail what an airdrop is, they also don't want to know the risks in an airdrop.

if you've quit airdrop that is there for you every day to work, it seems like the right choice. because actually you are being used to be a referral from people who have group channels. there are not many airdrops that turn into money, be grateful you can switch from there.

Disagree, some of airdrop is aim to strengthen the community and done by some great project like SafePal, Stellar, Origin, Trust Wallet, etc and if you got such that airdrop its really a good money.
But its agree some of airdrop are nothing, so be picky to do airdrop even its a simple tasks.

I think the best way to dodge a scam airdrop is to search regarding what coins that already in the market are making an airdrop, there are lots of tokens/coins that do airdrops you just have to know when, which means you need to make an extra effort looking for it, just like how we join lots of airdrops that are being posted, which in the end took your time and gain nothing, don't be attracted with the promised value sometimes its a hint that the project is just like any other scheme, to make people believe its legit.

It is not easy to qualify for signature campaigns in this forum. You need to have at least member ranking, and on top of that many of the campaigns have this additional requirement of 5 merit points received during the last 3 months. If you are active in this forum, then it is not that difficult to get merit points. Most of the users are very generous with the merit. I usually receive 10-15 merit points every month, although most of my activity is restricted to sub-forums that have a lower possibility of receiving merit. The issue with new users is that they don't have the patience to wait for merit points.

I haven't participated in airdrops for almost 3 years now.. so it would be helpful if you could give an idea about the rewards that you have received from these airdrops. The participation criteria has changed now, so it takes a lot more time to register for the airdrops. Earlier, all you need to do was to provide your ERC-20 wallet address. But now there are additional requirements, such as making tweets, joining Telegram groups.etc. So it takes a lot more time and effort. So I want to make sure that they are actually not fooling the participants.

I think the people back then didn't expect it to be such high valued airdrop since the airdrop itself was already done years ago, only now that it's getting unlocked periodically, airdrop is basically randomly trying your luck.

As long you could make money then that what matter most and as long you dont provide any KYC and sent out some money then its just fine.

Majority of airdrops now do really require those things which makes it even more shittier and wont really be that worth for someone to deal with.

Most of them are trash now and im still amazed that there are still airdrop hunters even up into this year.

Yes this is true now most Airdrops are scam. They fullfil their Followers and run away. I also joined approximately 100-150 but only Recieved 20-30. I have find some sources where we can get legit airdrop. First source is Airdrop Detective Channel. And Second is Coinmarketcap. You can find Airdrops in Coinmarketcap also.

In airdrops, sometimes you may need to have some luck as well. As you remember, there were several airdrops conducted by the crypto wallets which awarded tokens such as TWT, SFP, etc. which ultimately ended up with huge profits to the participants. If you do 100 airdrops, probably you will find half of them as scams. Out of the few which you get tokens, there can be a hidden gem which may give you some profits. Hence, I have not given up in participating in airdrops at the moment.

Airdrops were such a craze in the old times. Imagine you will see in the bounty threads about this coin or that coin or token that were being offered for the first time and they would give a link for you to go to so that you can give your wallet address and they will put some of their currency on there. It as the best of times then, only problem is that too many of them don't have much influence for people to give a damn with so many of these airdrops became a waste of time and eventually left for other good projects.

Yes, a good Airdrop is only an Airdrop made on a large exchange like Binance and others, because the exchange has clearly provided a commensurate allocation for each participant who takes part in the Airdrop program, so if the Airdrop is not supported by the exchange, it's better to just ignore it and don't chase it too much.
