Airdrops are not worth it anymore, it was a different satisfying experience years ago but today things have changed drastically, instead of trying your lucks on airdrops it's better to focus on good projects to promote
Knowing that the era of airdrops has lost a lot of highlights but in a difficult market, the economy is not too favorable for investors, stepping back into the airdrop is also advisable, maybe they no longer satisfy our needs and vision but we should lower everything, this is a time when finances cannot be flourished too much. A small profit can also help to make life more prosperous in bad days, especially it is suitable for amateurs and is allowed to complete at home, other project promotion is also good but we need enough approval from the manager

There isn’t anything on the space, nothing, except scam, have you given up or do you still cope and looking for airdrop?

Airdrop participated: 20
Airdrop received to this day: 0
Yes, you heard me, nothing at all, not even one airdrop, that’s how red pilled the space.

I stopped participating in airdrops last 2018 due to all I received was was nothing or shit coins. Until now, shit coins are still on my wallet sleeping. Some has a good price now but with the higher fees I can't withdraw or transact it. There are lot of airdrops again that I am seeing I admit I want to avoid airdrop because of what happened. I am just afraid that history may repeat itself. Maybe I joined airdrop if it is in the same campaign of my signature.

I've already stopped searching for airdrops because it's been a waste of time for me in recent months. Idgaf on airdrops because it turns out to be a scam or another shitcoin of no meaning, but now that it's altcoin season, I can see another light on airdrops because many of them can really go to the moon.

For eg, we thought the FREE coin would have a low price value, but it recently skyrocketed, and I should be able to get more money right now if I just hodl that airdrop.

I'd rather invest in shitcoins and hope for an immediate tenfold return than invest time in airdrops and hope for a higher return.

Mostly, airdrops in nowadays are waste of time. Maybe 9/10 are all unprofitable project. If there is one hope we can join to experience the goodness part on airdrop. Focusing in good project is not 100% guarantee the successful ending and profitable rewards. Both are still risky and should not expect too much.

A couple of years ago, I participated in almost all airdrops and out of about 100 airdrops, about 1-2 was paying some tokens, so some time ago I started to participate only in verified airdrops that are published in some telegram channels in which I trust and I can say that the exhaust from participation in airdrops immediately increased in several times, of course, there are still a lot of fake airdrops and therefore you shouldn't count on a huge profit from airdrops because its just airdrops.

I would rephrase this post and ask: "Have you ever received any VALUABLE airdrop?", perhaps some people who got the Bitcoin cash distribution, if that qualifies as an airdrop at all, could answer yes. But may of the Ethereum "flavours and colors" airdrops were not worth a wei an unit.

Airdrops have been massively missused and now people just don´t believe in these.

You need to choose the right one. Yes not all airdrop pay or even if the do their coins are useless but some are good ones too. Recently I joined Amepay airdrop and earned $50 which is not bad considering I have to do only one time task.
Though I prefer bounty over airdrop but if some exceptional airdrop comes by, I join it for sure..

Even in 2021 there are airdrops that are worth it. Look at the UNI airdrop a couple of months ago or the Ampleforth airdrop. Both were really rewarding.
Don't just join every airdrop you can find on twitter/telegram as 99% is scam or completely useless.

I joined more than 100 airdrops, but only received from 5-8 airdrops. Now the main goal of the airdrop is to gain followers and members on their social media. They don't pay us. Mostly airdrops are scam they give the date of Distribution and run away or change their channels and groups names.

If 20 airdrops haven't made any money for you, try to take part in 200 airdrops. Even though the airdrops are not what they used to be, but there are still some legit airdrops that give money to participants, so never give up bro
You can do this if you have many free time to join in airdrop, its free anyway so keep joining. However just like what you've said, legit airdrops are not how it used to be, many of them are scams thats why for some of us its not a reliable way anymore to get free token/coin.

Im not joining in airdrop because its already not worth it, plus im busy as well to my daily job that I dont have time for that.

Your encouragement is amazing, I also had a hard time with airdrops in the past to get small amounts of money and accumulate it will grow. Maybe many people think that it is becoming more difficult, but I think that is the way for people to understand more about this field, do not underestimate the money from the airdrop, if you are lucky to do up to 200 projects. If you have a different project then maybe you will get one of the surprise sums of money from the projects that you have been involved in before, I have met a lot of such stories going on in this market.

Recently I'd tried to participated in 14 different airdrops unfortunately even one project didn't pay me. I thought maybe my wallet address is wrong but I checked and it is correct. Therefore, because of that I stop participating in airdrops because it is a waste of time for me. Maybe someday I will participate in potential airdrops that will pay me.

Bisq Market Day - March 20th 2023

The airdrops that I saw via telegram bots were scams.  If I take part in the airdrop, I suggest that through this forum and find out who the manager is.  Because it often happens as long as you do an airdrop then there is no result.  But we still have to be enthusiastic at work.

But how do those scams with airdrops exactly work? Do they collect some of the data that they might even use for social engineering? Or is it only to raise attention for the project hoping that others who missed the airdrop might be into it.

All the possible risk is there if they require you to submit a KYC, then your information might be at risk of getting sold, and sometimes they really give tokens or coins but the value is worthless, so most likely you are just wasting time. Airdrop which is free have a low success rate, you have to be careful with that, less success rate, you should not risk your information to these scammers.

That is what I also believe. Require KYC and sell all your personal data to hackers or so. I've never shared my KYC data with any team that was not absolutely legit. Never do that!

Airdrops means nothing more than a waste of time. I have participated in many airdrops but have not received a single payment. So stay away from airdrops now. If you spend that time somewhere else without wasting time behind airdrops, maybe you can get some profit from there.

Because of the high fees, airdrops aren't as common as they once were. It is not fair to waste too much money on petrol when you might spend it on ads when launching a new erc-20 token. There are already a million shitcoins out there, and attracting people's interest is challenging because there is too much competition. Furthermore, developers tend to make as much money as possible, and giving away a large portion of the coin's stock will reduce their earnings, so airdrops are not a viable option.
