Always ask questions. #StandWithHongKong
Selective scamming with their users and asking out KYC verification later on which would leave out no choice for users who had been blocked or banned or hold up their withdrawals.

A bit like Livecoin then (which you are promoting for payment), but not as bad if TOS are anything to go by.

On the grounds that my account is suspicious

That is a trend that all exchanges implement when they are selective scamming their users.

They have automatic messages

So have you tried to contact them via Twitter?
They asked me to activate KYC
Requirements for KYC are for those who want to withdraw more then 1 BTC
My $ 50 account

I haven't seen such rules (that KYC isn't needed for withdrawals less than 1 BTC), but I guess if they ask for this data and you need this $50 you should cooperate with them.
Does 50 bucks be worthy with your personal information? I guess not. This isn't something new not only on some exchangers but also on other gambling sites as well.

Did you do anything that gave them an excuse to block your account such as change of IP address  to login?

Contact the support team. What can be easier? If they don't respond, reach out them via social media (Reddt, Twitter, Facebook...)

People who say they face troubles with KYC, later manage to pass it and withdraw their coins. Generally, that's it. Hitbtc should work faster but it's not a scam.

Well no. I am faced with forced KYC even though I requested to withdraw an amount much below their own limits for KYC. It just shows they are using KYC as a measure to slow down or in cases completely block withdrawals and this points directly to the issue of insolvency.

There are many exchanges who are slow to process KYC procedures but they do not force them on their clients when the clients try to withdraw limited amounts of money - HitBTC does, so it's an abnormal situation indicating they operate on illegally borrowed and in cases out right stolen money.

So you say that they do KYC slowly, other exchanges do it slowly too, and all of a sudden you claim that Hitbtc is insolvent although people withdraw their coins from this exchange. I didn't manage to find any info specifying which amount of money is "below limits for KYC". It's sad that you can't pass KYC, but I can't agree with your accusations. More than that, you have no evidence, only your guessings.

With the accusations of selective scamming increasing everyday, when will authorities take action against HitBTC?

I was also hoping to see a bigger office and over a hundred employee but who needs that if the exchange has a strong security and it is safe to trade, the only downside is with few employee some concern are not being met.

Mate, you're missing the point. It's not about a bigger office or over a hundred employees. Actually, the first two images that you're seeing in my post are the ones which are provided by HitBTC at their official website, while the next two images that you're seeing are the ones which were captured by a visitor (who visited HitBTC's office). Surprisingly (or maybe unsurprisingly?), their office was locked up and no one (of HitBTC team) was present at that address.

Some say that the company goes insolvent but people actually withdraw their coins from HitBTC. I've seen many reports on social media — first, they complain that they cannot withdraw their money, then they say that the support team reached them out and they withdrew their funds. So I guess the rumors about the bad financial situation are overblown.

Most of the complaints about Hitbtc could be narrowed down to the problem with the delays in withdrawals. People who say they face troubles with KYC, later manage to pass it and withdraw their coins. Generally, that's it. Hitbtc should work faster but it's not a scam.

Sorry to read about your issues.

Sadly these types of complaints against HitBTC are becoming more and more common.

The cases against them pile up continuously.
