I think hold is the best choice you can do right now, if you are stuck at an expensive price then your best choice is hold and don't let you panic and be affected to sell your assets at a cheap price because it will make you lose.
I am a daily trader where market fluctuations are my field of work. When the market falls I will buy and sell more when the profit target I plan is achieved. But when I bought it and the market came back down this made me have to hold to reduce losses, but I will trade off for some time until the price improves
As a long term investor, I always think that hodl is not useful. I trade some periods, sell some of my altcoins, then buy them again and add them back to my portfolio.

It can be one of the best thing to do with the current market situation. However, some are still trading since the market is not always falling. It can be a risky move but you can still really earn im crypto with just a little market recovery.

HODL is not the ONLY policy but ofcourse the most secure policy is HODL, but some times it gives you big loss. I am HODLING 128k REBL for a year now, during this period REBL went to 1200 satoshi and now they are at 150 satoshi.
