Hodl is a good policy when you buy coin for cheap. May be even at a very early stage of the project. But if you buy the top it can be very harmful to watch the price of the coin drops 10 times. Hodling deprvies you of an opportunity to buy at better times.
Too it is at the moment sure that there has to be a uniform policy it is HODL. I believe in cryptocurrency and the fact that with its help it is possible to receive good money.
How I wish people can hold there token for a while before selling it as this might facilitate the price 8n the market. Market is down for now, yet some people still dump at lower price.
For todays market situation - of course it is the single possible safe policy but I actually like to trade coins from time to time and change tokens in my portfolio with intervals of time.
For now, HODL is a good decide and i dont ever think about do some trading like buy or sell because is very can get a risk.

HODL don't really benefit everyone from this market, imagine almost ICO from last year are failing and HODLING could only hurt more our investment. Sometimes we need to cut losses but yeah holding some precious token or could give high reward when market is green.
In such a market as now I do not risk trading, only hold. As there is a great option to stay with nothing. But when the market turns, I will resume trading and begin to fix the profit and not just watch the price changes.
I have also like you 2 policy for crypto. If i believe a crypto coin i want to hold till i get really good profit. and if it is keep decreasing. i need to accumulate and continue to hold.
HODL is caused by the coin price that we think that the coin will have good value in the future but the community is not aware of it now, it is a real HODL.

HODL and buy the best strategy now. Bitcoin rose so high only thanks to crypto enthusiasts. If no one will sell and everyone will only buy, of course the price will go up - we ourselves will create another HYIP and frenzied BIG growth, only ourselves. HODL and buy. We will push the price up!

HODL is the best policy in a bull market. The more time you ride the bull, the bigger your gains are. Trading works for few very smart traders only.
I think this is a very good policy. By holding the coins you will not experience a loss. But if you're doing a long-term investment, more beneficial to your future. You must keep hold of the coin because right now the price of BTC and the ETH has already started to rise and this is very positive for the growth of all Altcoin.

I will hold until I see the amount I need in my wallet. Despite the bad state of the market, I remain calm, because this should end.
My decision depends on the coin i have. If the coin is a promising one, the best thing to do is to hold. The market presently might not be as we wanted, but it really looks promising.
