Bitcoin is perfect in long time investment it is my personal opinion.Also some alt coin long time investment is not bad because a lot of potential coin is here in coin market.I think more coin is not long survivable after 10 years.

You can do it both it depends on you because we can hold bitcoin as long as we can and we can buy altcoin as we can afford it. Yes bitcoin is on bearish but it doesn't mean you drop it anytime.altcoin and bitcoin is profitable investment as long you know to manage it. And Why ?

I think it would be a better idea to hold not only Bitcoin but also altcoin, simply because there are many promising altcoins that are having a higher rate of increase during pumps. Holding only Bitcoin would limit the profit to be earned especially at times like this that the market is on continuous downtrend. More holdings means bigger chance to earn profit. And Why ?

You could sell half of your Bitcoin balance to buy Altcoin. And this I think is safer because as prices rise, all Altcoin Bitcoin is also rising. So you can feel some of the advantages of Altcoin.
If you plan to hold a coin for a long time, then you should keep your bitcoin, but if you want to make money in a short time, then it is best to buy a cottage currency!
It depends on many things. If you feel that you are active enough to trade (and have time to do it), it might be better to buy altcoins. Trading alts will bright you the profit faster than in the case when you hold Bitcoin.
If you decide to invest long-term, you should hold Bitcoin for the long-term, at least hold for the next 2 years. The current investment in altcoins is unreasonable because the altcoins rate is unstable, so invest and hold Bitcoin because in my view investing in BTC and hold is the safest way to earn profit later.
There is a simple rule: never invest in one cryptocurrency even when it is the best one - Bitcoin. Spread your money wisely. Pick several good altcoins like Cardano, Stellar, Ethereum Classic, and do not forget about BTC as well.
Now is the time that it is better not to buy a lot of altcoins, it is better to keep your assets in bitcoin and bucks and only on not a lot of money to buy other coins if you are sure of them.

Since market are red and some altcoins are cheap then I make this as my advantage to buy some altcoins that I know will pump if the market comesback to normal. Like ethereum and trx.And Why ?

Unfortunately no one can know and guarantee that coins will rise, I think this is normal, as long as this market is difficult to make coins skyrocket like last year, what we can do is be patient if we have bought and waited and are not tempted to invest big.
If you are going to ask my personal opinion, the crypto money that I think of as my investment tool is always bitcoin and will continue to be thereafter. Atcoin also has the chance to win, but the rizikosu is more. But the possibility of winning can be excessive due to some risk.

Bitcoin's the only coin that's very important which you must buy. By how to buy and save it in the long run surely you will get a fairly large profit in the future later. And altcoins, you should buy the main coins (that is the top 10 coins), because they all already clearly have a very good reputation.

I prefer to hold my Bitcoin because these coins are very important. And invest in some Altcoin to reduce our risk in trading. By investing in some of these coins will be more made me gain very much.

I think hold bitcoin its better than you sell in cheap price after that you buy altcoin. Just hold bitcoin because bitcoin is easier to up than altcoin. And bitcoin price increases are faster than altcoins.

I agree with you . Long-term investments should only be invested in Bitcoin as it is the best and most popular coin at this time. I personally only invest in altcoin when the market shows signs of recovery and will sell immediately if the profits are good because if you are greedy in this market you will surely lose a lot of profits because of the current market unstable 
Most people believe in cycles. They put their hopes on the charts last year they saw. Whether it will happen or not, they believe things that have happened in the past will also happen in the future, they believe in the power of such suggestions so that holding bitcoin is a need. But looking for other option in altcoin is good move as well. It means, just do both than simply do only one thing.
