It's much better to stick to your altcoins. As the price is lower as you say, if you sell it now, you will probably lose some of the money. As long as the market recovers, do not worry about whether the value of coins will continue to decline. It will soon rise again, which will definitely make us make huge profits.
I don't think it is a good idea to sell anything while the market at the stage of correction. I would hold coins because I am sure most of them will grow significantly this year, so it will be a chance to get a good profit.

It depends on what coin you have in your portfolio in particular. If you have no doubts about the profitability of that coin then I suggest to treat it as a long term investment and sell later when it reaches the highest value.

The best thing to do is just hold your coins because there are a lot of people today who are investing and wait for the price of your coins to increase, maybe the price is dropping sometimes but still it will grow back to its normal price so do not lose hope and just hold your coins.

If the price is still below the price when you buy it, you better hold it because it makes you lose. But if the current market price is above the capital price when buying, you can sell or be patient a bit longer to hold your coins.

If you think an altcoin you own is overvalued and you are able to buy it back at a later time after you sell them, then I don't see why you shouldn't sell. I will sell of all altcoin have I got form the bounty campaign when the token price have touch the ico price, I will not waiting anymore for holding this coin. When some coin I got from bounty campaign and have the same with with ico price I will sell all it. Nothing using full for we are holding it because maybe sometime this altcoin will be scam by their admin, we have faced many altcoin have scam by their admin and made all investor have loss their money.
It's better to hold if we know the market price goes down.After 3 to 5 months the prices are rissing we need to sell our alts because it is our chance to have more.
my opinion is hold. because i believe the price will going up because in the fact the price will going up so far on market. if you sale its just make lost your profit. so i think the best choice is hold.
Right now, I think if your coins are extremely potential in the near future, it's better to keep buying and holding in the long-term. If these coins are potential in 2018 and keep going on increasing, you will have a great profit from this investment.

if the price is dropping, i think it will be better if you hold them. because if you sell them in low price, you wont get more money.

Definitely, you invested in it so need to really get some profits in it and to be able to do that hodl is the only key to make that happen. Here in crypto world, we really need to have a heart of stone to overcome the challenges that we may encounter along the way. I know holding an altcoin can give us discomfort but we need to be strong and trust the power of volatility.
Now you need to keep, bitcoin at any time can move, for too long it already stands at around 7000-9000 dollars.

I'd rather just hold and wait for the price to climb back. It won't be plummeting down forever. Eventually, cryptocurrencies with those kind of activity usually spike back hard. Like really hard. Just wait for the precise moment and sell the token immediately because you get another price drop.
All decision should be base on technical and fundamental analysis, if you find others coin that better in fundamental and has more interesting project, you can sell in loss all that your coin and buy that new coin that has more potential. This way will make faster to recover loss, and we should be do it to make profit.
