today, we can buy back lower in bitcoin and ethereum because the price is down too deep and it still going down. but if we don't have money, then we can only watch the price moves and hope that it will increase back in the next week. since bitcoin price is down, I think it will give effect too to the other coins so it is better to prepare if somehow the altcoin is getting down too.

Right now users won't get the chance to sell and buy back much lower. Users could have sold when the price went above $7500. This has been an expected price fall from experts point, one who has sold by that point has got the much lower buy back opportunity as the price has fallen much low within a weeks time before the start to recovery.

With the bad luck I have, I'm sure that in the very moment I sell in order to buy back lower the market will reverse and I'll realise that I sold the very bottom.

Sorry guys, no intention to do it in the near future, so the bear is here to stay for a long time  Cheesy

Hi so do people think it's worth learning chart tracking, technical analysis in order to sell and buy back Lower to increase my position. With all of these recent drops I feel I'm wasting opportunities because I've been told it's always better to hold. I value this strategy but would it not also be beneficial to maybe think about looking at some charts?
If you have enough money, you can try two options at the same time. Suppose, buy a certain number of tokens (you can buy even not a large number) two times. Leave one shipment for hold, and second - for selling more expensive and buy cheaper. Compare the results in half a year somewhere. While writing this post it became very interesting to try Smiley

I hold and when I think I could sell to buy back Lower I do it but it could be a high risk if it doesn’t drop anymore but instead goes up . I stay with my strategy of holding and selling when i mm happy with the value of the coin . I’m not here to stress out but to have some fun while earning money

there is no other way than cutloss, many people also want to hold their coins, but patience will not generate benefits for fast thinkers, I have to do it because prices keep moving, but from price fluctuations I can get enough profit every day even though not always positive .

The market is at a downturn now so selling and buying back lower cannot be done unless it is certain that the market will go lower than it already is, the safest option here is to hold because if you sell now you will miss the opportunity to sell higher

It is a working strategy but it is extremely risky and difficult to perform. You should know market very well if you want to try such things.

Thinking about doing what the op is suggesting feels good and seem possible on paper  but the actualization of it is what is difficult!  No one can precisely sell high and accurately buy lower again.

Best investment strategy is to divide your asset into three groups: invest in New projects, hold some for long term and trade with the remaining to increase portfolio size.

For me i suggest to hold it but if you have a lot of capital you can buy back at dip price but it is your own decisions its up to you whether you want to sell now and buy back again

when I am stuck at a very expensive price, what I will do is wait until the price rises again, I will never be affected and sell at a very cheap price because I know it really makes you lose, if you still have trading capital then well you can buy it as much as you can.

holding the coin in the downtrend is good especially if you are late to cut loss your coin and you can buy back the coin in the lower price. this is the only things that you can do right now. but you need to always check the price before you do something because this will help you to analyze and think about what you should do at that moment.

It might give you a nice profit but do not you think that it is a very risky business? As for me, I need even more experience to do it. Although I am in trading for many years, I have some doubts I can do it now

Only if you know what you are doing. It is good to do trading, buy low, sell high but not everyone is successful with it. It takes skills to do this. If you are willing to risk what you are holding so far, then go ahead. It is risky but also very profitable if you do it right.
Yes, I agree with your suggestion because it take experience and patience to be able to make profit in trading because without the experience, the lost maybe more than the profit because it is risky as crypto is unpredictable.

Use stop-loss which can depend on how much you want to risk, but definitely hodling is useless if you don't use stop losses. Pointless to hodl btc from 19k to 6k, where you could have sold it and bought it back at 7k or 6k Smiley

Probably if we knew that the market could fall again, we could really sell our altcoins at the beginning of June to buy more alts now. However, the holders should go on holding their cryptocurrencies now.

hold if you bought it on an alltime high and sell if you will earn profit from selling it. never ever sell if you will end up in a very big loss.
- I understand what you say, this can be a safe way to help us not get the loss but it also has the disadvantage, that is our money will be frozen for a while waiting because we are always focused on hold and if the market keeps going down like in recent times, we are forced to sit out of the game, time to get back to the game is very long, we will miss the other opportunity. I and many people here will not have enough patience for this problem, I like to sell and then buy at lower prices, maybe we will have the loss in the early stages but things will soon recover and be profitable.

It's not really an advisable time to sell as we are just bouncing back after a very good low point around 400 $ for ethereum so keep the holdings and look for higher exit

It's that not easy to learn analyzing the prize chart. If we master this, it can help us to determine the steps we should take. When do we have to hold, when we should sell, and when we should buy. By the way, holding is also good, the bad thing here is when you begin to doubt yourself that you might miss some opportunities.
